Simply the worst. They don't answer the phone, and if they do, they put you on hold and never come back. They do this all the time.

Best service I've ever had using U-Haul. I presented quite the challenge of wiring my Audi Q7 for pulling a trailer with electric brakes. Every single person was courteous and knew their business. They promptly ordered the unique parts for my application. The true stand out was Todd, the technician who did the actual work. He is a subject matter expert on wiring. I rented a trailer on the 12th at 4pm i dropped it back of 3-4 hours later in the same spot i was told to drop off after hours , 4 days later they charge me $430 because supposedly it wasn't dropped off . I call to fix this and they say they beed to look at the cameras , called them 5 times they said they would call back never did . Its the next day and now they forward my calls to corporate where they cant do anything about it but message the location . Bad service all round ! read more

My father has been a customer of U-Haul for a very long time and never had a problem with them at all. They have all different kinds of moving equipment such as moving vans, trucks, trailers in all different sizes for your local or distant moving. Inside the store you'll find moving boxes, tape, bubble wrap and many more options for your move. Inside the store has a real bad smell by the entrance/exit door it's some what strong to where you can smell it. Not sure why they haven't figure out how to take care of it or not taking care of it cause it stinks. Also they do have restrooms inside of the store while your waiting for your equipment to be ready for you. read more

Very unhappy. On August 19th I scheduled and paid for a trailer hitch installation for today 8/29 at 5pm. I got the confirmation in the email and put it on my calendar. Today, 3 hours before the appointment I get a call telling me that it was a mistake, that there was some gap in their system that shouldn't have let me schedule for 5pm, as they're only open until 7 and their installer doesn't work past 2pm. I asked why I wasn't notified of this when I made the order. He told me that his manager mentioned it and he figured he would have called me, but that was why he was calling me now. Told me they can reschedule for next week, but I explained I booked it so early because I needed it for this coming weekend. I was basically given the choice of cancel and get a refund in a week or call back to talk to a manager (as there conveniently was no manager on duty today) or reschedule for next week. I asked to have a manager call me tomorrow. I'm sure it was clear I was not happy, but then the guy hung up on me. This did not make me happy. I called their number which turns out, you can't get back to that location, you get directed to the call center. I reached a nice lady named Ann, she told me the order had already been cancelled and a refund requested, so the guy who called me did so right when he hung up on me, I'm guessing he won't be giving his manager the message to call me tomorrow. I'm now on the search for a different company to get my trailer hitch, as I will never use U-Haul again. read more

Terrible experience there this weekend. Rented a truck for an in-town move. I did online check-in, which was a complete joke... as I still waited a half hour for my truck. I had contracted for some additional equipment, which U-haul left out of the truck. I called and they said I could come back for it (at $.99 a mile) or they could credit me. I opted for the credit, which I was assured I was given. I wasn't given the credit and was still billed for the equipment rental. The office looked like a ghost town for the busiest moving day of the week (Saturday). Epic fail, U-Haul. Save yourself some trouble - rent Penske. Before my move, I frequented U-haul Brandon many times. Every time I needed something, they were eager to help! I purchase many boxes for packing. Actually, I bought too many. They have a Buy-Back policy, so if you're like me and buy too many, you can bring back the unused boxes and get a refund. That's exactly what we did, and it was simple. They had everything I needed and more for my move. I didn't know mattress protectors were available, when I noticed a package during my check out, I picked one up. I'm glad I did! It was very handy, and without it our mattress would have been soaked (somehow, the vent on our cargo trailer opened while driving through rain). Overall, they were helpful, friendly, and patiently assisted us through our move. If you have a move coming up, I recommend going by and talking to one of their professionals. read more

I was very impressed with this U-Haul location. I had never used U-Haul before before my most recent move, but Budget quoted me a ridiculous price, and U-Haul's price was so cheap it was hard to believe. I rented the truck online through u-haul.com and received a confirmation email the morning before my move telling me that my equipment would be ready for pickup at 10:00 AM the next morning. (I had requested 7:00 AM but was fine with the time change.) We picked up the truck without a problem; everything was ready at 10:00 and the staff was very nice and professional. The truck was clean and worked great (no maintenance issues), and the furniture pads I had ordered were already inside. There were no surprise fees or costs; what I was quoted is what I paid. Overall, a great experience. I would recommend them to anyone and would use them again. read more

It's hilarious reading these 5 star reviews that are clearly fake, because they outline all the services that u haul can offer, a clear teller that a review was written by someone working there to boost up their rating. It's a one star because when you order a specific truck/van you actually get something else, which they phone you the night before telling you this. Then they don't know where to put the vehicle so your lost trying to find it. Also their customer service is god awful, they said they would give me a discount for all the trouble they caused, but didn't. They also didn't even know what key to put in the drop box. For my move I'm literally did every step that the worker is supposed to, it's hilarious how awful they are. read more
