Great management and staff. Works fast, knowledgeable and very friendly. Thanks again Jeff!!

    38 miles

They charged me $50 for gas even though I filled it before returning the truck. So I shouldn't be getting charged anything AT ALL but even if I did return it without adding gas(which I didn't) charging me 7gal of gas on 38 miles doesn't even make sense. Can't believe such a huge company would be scamming people out of their money. Be careful if you rent from this U-haul location! I suggest going to a different location to be safe.

Be sure to Lysol spray the sides and use Lysol wipes to disinfect the insides! Wear gloves. Covid-19 lasts for 3 days on plastic.

Had to move out of my place during Covid-19 and decided to rent reusable boxes at 1.50/box instead of paying steep prices for cardboard boxes. Covid-19 lives on plastic for 3 days so this also meant that I had to take precautionary measures to Lysol spray the sides/handles and Lysol wipes the insides and flaps. I spent around $30 instead of $100+ I used to pay for cardboard and I didn't have to buy or mess with tape and putting boxes together, super convenient to pack and for my movers. Given that the virus lives on plastic for 3 days, I do think that Uhaul corporate needs to allow its shops to give customers 6 extra days to be on the safe side and reduce the spread of COVID-19. Overall, I appreciated their PHENOMENAL customer and contactless service. When I had to get extra boxes, I drove up and they just placed the boxes in my car with gloves on. Truly appreciated!

Don't come at lunchtime, they all take lunch at noon he same time. There are three guys eating in a truck. I don't blame him hem, if I was was eating I wouldn't want to be bothered. Management's fault. Should stagger breaks ten minutes. Then they tell me my tanks expired. Can't refill it.

Long line; only one employee working the counter. UHaul 21707 S. Western Ave. Torrance, CA 90501

This place constantly has idiotic customers who keep parking their car at the equipment return spot. The staff there is also lazy AF.

Words of caution, bring it back filled up with gas level to where you got it, and check to make sure any moving blankets or supplies are indeed there when you start, you don't want to be charged for something that you never got. Upon pickup I worked with William who was friendly and helpful in putting me into my vehicle. We also connected based on our love for the Raiders, sorry, I digress. The U-Haul I got ran fine and worked great for my needs. For such a long haul the price was a bit steep, $356.10 total. There are a few ways to rent, which I discussed with William, but using this vehicle for a round trip, 242 total miles, made the most sense. I had a good experience.

They got out of their car smelling strongly of marijuana & looked completely disheveled. From the moment they started working, their behavior was careless & unprofessional. I had everything packed & organized ahead of time. I also provided moving blankets and packing materials for furniture that needed protection. Despite this, the movers ignored my requests to properly wrap items & instead carelessly threw furniture and boxes into the moving truck that I had rented. As a result, several items were damaged. They broke a mirror worth over $1,000 and caused damage to multiple belongings. They also repeatedly hit the walls of my home while moving furniture because they took no care whatsoever. The most upsetting damage was to my white designer couch. The movers had very dirty hands and left numerous black handprints all over the fabric. When I politely asked them to wash their hands or wear gloves, they laughed. The behavior continued to get worse. At one point they asked to use my microwave to heat up a cup of noodle soup for lunch. They sat on the edge of my coffee table while eating and then left the empty container sitting there when they finished. To make matters worse, they spent a significant amount of time on their phones during the move, showing each other photos and wasting time. The job was booked for two hours. When the two hours were up, they claimed they had gone 30 minutes over and attempted to charge me additional money. They even suggested that if I paid them cash, they would keep it themselves and not report the extra time to the company. Beyond UNPROFESSIONAL

Before my reservation date, Geraldo confirmed everything for me. Then on the morning of pickup, Jose checked their inventory and reached out an hour before opening to let me know about an issue and to ask whether I was still interested in the rental. That level of communication alone meant so much. When I arrived, I noticed that every customer was greeted warmly, and I was no exception. Geraldo apologized again in person for the earlier issue and reassured me that Enterprise would still take care of me. And he did: quickly, professionally, and with kindness. The truck itself was a newer model, surprisingly good on gas which was a blessing with gas prices skyrocketing. It had a nice sound system, cushion flooring in the back, electric side windows, and a clean, modern computerized dashboard that made the drive smooth and stress‑free. The vehicle was spotless, ready, and even had the A/C running when it was handed over. From beginning to end, the entire experience was smooth, respectful, and handled with care. In a moment when my family and I were simply trying to get our belongings out of the house after the fire, Geraldo's thoughtfulness made a real difference. I never received anything to formally share my experience, so I wanted to take the time to publicly acknowledge the exceptional service I received. Thank you, Enterprise Truck Rental on Gardena Blvd. And a very special thank you to Geraldo I truly appreciate everything you did for me and my family during such a difficult time.

I originally contacted another rental company and had a frustrating experience -- multiple transfers, unanswered calls, and very little product knowledge. My experience with United Rentals in Torrance was the complete opposite. Andrew (manager) immediately helped me with a great quote for the equipment I needed to grind thin set off my concrete floors, and he arranged both delivery and pickup which made the process incredibly convenient. Even better, although it was technically a one-day rental, they allowed me to keep the equipment through the weekend and picked it up the next business day. That completely removed the stress of racing against the clock. When Andrew wasn't available, Erik (sales rep) stepped in seamlessly and already knew exactly who I was and what I needed. That level of communication and customer service is rare these days. Ismael delivered the equipment and took the time to walk me through everything step by step so I felt confident using it correctly. As someone doing this for the first time, that meant a lot. This team made a potentially stressful project feel easy and manageable. I'll absolutely be using United Rentals again and recommending them to other homeowners and DIYers. I called again on Monday and the guy I spoke to (Mike) said that he was charging me for 2 days since I didn't turn in the truck until Monday morning. That was completely impossible since I had fueled the truck and taken it back the same day. It gets sketchier. Mike stated that they found the keys inside the truck instead of the dropbox. I dropped off this truck with my wife and we're both witnesses to me dropping off the keys in their night dropbox. He stated tbey had me on surveillance dropping off the truck but not putting keys in the dropbox. When I asked to see the evidence, Mike asked if I was a cop and why would he have to prive what he is saying to me? Further, he also states that 7 gallons of diesel were missing and they were charging me for that. How is that possible when I filled the tank before dropping it off? They state that a fuel receipt should be left in the truck but that is NEVER EXPLAINED when you pick up the truck. I got so frustrated with Mike because when he was pressed to answer questions he would basically give me a run around answer. I asked to speak to his manager (Tim) and he straight out told me he didn't want to talk to me. I asked politely to talk to Tim and he put him on the phone. Tim told me that things were the way they were going to be and nothing was going to change. In fact, Tim mentioned to me that I was missing 10 gallons of fuel. It was at this point that I figured that someone must have driven the truck and these guys were giving me the run around. Tim was rude and he kept cutting me off when I tried explaining things and then he abruptly hung up. I tried calling multiple times but they kept ignoring my calls. Finally after a while Tim picked up and I let him know that I would file a complaint with his corporate office and he said, "Good, you should!" I had heard so many good things about this company but now I know their staff are crooked thieves who cannot be trusted. Please make sure to NEVER drop off the truck at night unless someone is present so you can dispute any discrepancies. I will be filing a dispute with my credit card company since neither the manager nor the employee bothered to make things right.
