From the first telephone exchange in New Jersey to schedule my ReloCube drop off to the delivery and pick up in a remote area of Puerto Rico, everything was seamless! Their customer service is second to none in every step of the process. Our cube arrived earlier than expected, and they were able to deliver on a Saturday before a pending tropical storm. My husband and I moved 5000 miles overseas. Moving is so stressful we had quite a few bids and decided a more affordable way would be for us to use Upack. I got recommendations for you pack the person I spoke with was very nice, I said it all up but it seemed too easy I kept going back reading the paperwork when the boxes came to my house the day they were supposed to I was so relieved because I just kept expecting something to go wrong and then they got here when they were scheduled to. I did my due diligence about moving long distance to Florida and was very happy we went with U-Pack. It was pretty straight forward - they drop the trailer and you fill it. I underestimated the amount of work loading the trailer, but this was pretty easy once I got started. It was also the least expensive (Pods was about $1,500 more for the same amount of room). They were easy to deal with and I would gladly use U-Pack again. read more

A mixed experience as the salesperson who helped me promised so much more than the service could deliver. Driver dropping off truck was late & grumpy. We had movers waiting from the promised drop off time & the driver had no consideration - only complained about the problems he was having and went on to tell us our price would be higher than what we were quoted. When the movers & truck are at the location it was disappointing to have him renegotiating costs. The experience at drop off was the antithesis! Driver could not have been nicer & more helpful! Local contacts were professional & accommodating - they definitely went the extra mile & I would use them again - I learned from the experience. read more

We had ordered 2 trucks and the whole process was easy and straight forward. The thing that is great is that they only charge you for the amount of space you use, markings are inside the truck. All the people from the company I dealt with were very nice and easy to talk too. I called many other places and this was the best of all, Penske wanted 4,700 dollars for a 26ft and I had to drive it myself and pay all of the other expenses. U Pack was an awesome deal and will recommend to anyone, I packed it, they drove it and dropped it off when I asked, but you have to pay a little extra, but I didn't mind. read more

I thought these guys were ok. This review is for the destination terminal in Pine Brooke that dropped off our Relo-Cube to Madison. They had to adjust my quote and I paid extra because I changed my original destination address far enough that they had to use a different terminaI. Fair enough, I suppose. The price was determined by the miles traveled by the relo-cube from residence to local origin terminal to destination local terminal to final residence. You can store your stuff at the local terminal for $195 a month if you aren't ready to have your relo-cube delivered to your new place yet. I never had an issue contacting customer service. Scheduling a relo-cube delivery and pickup was easy and they were generally on time.You do have to be there for the delivery as you have to show them where to park the relo-cube. A small forklift carries the relo-cube nimbly into the parking spot of your choice. You sign the paperwork and you unload your relo-cube at your own pace. Call them when you are ready for it to get picked up and you don't have to be there. Overall a pleasant experience. Would use these guys again to move if you like to move at your own pace and not have to do everything in one day. read more

I just can't say enough good things about our experience with U-Pack, as we used their service to help move our daughter to her new apartment halfway across the country. From the moment I called to get an estimate and ask a few questions about how the service works, they have met and even exceeded expectations each step of the way. Customer Service was attentive and responsiveness, and on both ends of our trip (from ReloCube delivery at our house to delivery on the other end), both drivers were helpful, friendly, polite and just good guys! The online tracking tool was precise, slhelped me see that everything was progressing as planned and, in the ine case I got a bit nervous Abkut them delivering the Cube in the agreed to timeline, the service manager made it all happen. My actual move has not happened yet, but I wanted to write a review of the U-Pack Pine Brook and, specifically, John Fox. I had a move scheduled which disintegrated before my eyes. The trailer arrived as promised, but my condo association (I got permission in advance) would not let it remain overnight because the container was larger than expected. The move was supposed to take place the next day and, instead, was effectively canceled. I called the local service center in Pine Brook and I was, of course, very upset, flustered, and pretty much out of options. How could I find any mover to get me out of here by August 31st? John was unfailingly patient and kind. He brainstormed with me and we hatched a plan to use Relocubes over 3 days (due to other condo association rules which prohibit more than one cube at a time per resident). At the other end of the flexibility/willingness spectrum was John who took every call, remained ultra professional, and even invited me to call late into the evening if I needed more reassurance. In the end, a board member came to my rescue and was able to get a 36 hour approval for the trailer so the move was rescheduled for tomorrow - a huge relief and a happy ending after some harrowing hours of disbelief and confusion, all made tolerable by John. I must add that ANY time I have called U-PACK/ABF customer service over the last few months, they have been helpful and patient - every person, every time. I am most grateful, and anticipate a great moving experience. I'll write a review about that once I arrive at my destination. Thank you so much, John. September 7 Update: Move complete. Van arrived right on time, was picked up the same day. U-PACK/ABF was great. I still encourage them to disassociate with Moving Staffers. Read below: September 5 Update: DO NOT USE MOVING STAFFERS. I cannot understand why U-PACK contracts with them, but if you check reviews, you will find they are dismal. I was packed by 3 men from "All About Moving" in Allentown, PA. I upgraded the service to include blankets, wrapping papers, straps, etc. At the end of the load, the lead person asked me for rope. I told him they were supposed to bring ropes/straps and he told me that I was mistaken. I happened to have a few "strapping straps" that they used, but it felt wrong. I called Moving Staffers and the customer service person asked if they had tied off the load every 6-8 feet. I didn't know b/c I didn't observe every aspect of the job, but I doubted it b/c they didn't ask for rope until the very end. When I asked questions during the move, the lead guy would say things like, "We do this every day." "I am taking good care of you." And "I know what I am doing." I was told by customer service that they take photos throughout the process and that the lead guy said they tied off as they were supposed to. I asked to see the photos and was told I could not view them. I persisted with my concern, and the next day, the owner of All About Moving came back with 2 of the guys from the day before and repacked most of the trailer. He assured me that they did it correctly, but I have to take his word for it. I was not allowed on the van and could not see to the front. I was assured that it was tight and that the load was in good order for 2000 miles of travel. Moving, under the best of circumstances, is stressful and this has caused me endless anxiety. To add insult to injury, it cost me over $1000. I will never use Moving Staffers again, I will not recommend Moving Staffers and I will give Moving Staffers negative reviews. There was no excuse for this nonsense and I am extremely disappointed in the experience. My furniture and possessions better be in good shape when unloaded. Despite the very competent customer service and compassionate support during this trying time, never again. What a shame. They advertise a good product and have good sales people, but this experience was poor at best and U PACK would be wise to reconsider this association. TERRIBLE. read more

Used U-Pack because I thought if they were part of a common carrier, they had to be good. They weren't good, they were the best. Clear and timely communications between their corporate, local dispatch, the drivers and the customer. They drivers were Teamsters, who are in my opinion, the best on the road. The pick up and delivery were flawless. If I could rate them A++, I would. Very satisfied with their performance and the $$$$$ I saved. read more

I moved from NY to CA and I've heard so many rumors around how moving companies (who brings truck/movers and does both loading/unloading) scams you by giving a low cost quote and holds your stuff as hostage until you agree to pay the extra costs occurred during transit or during loading/unloading labor work. So I decided to go with U-pack, hoping to minimize the stress level of the move itself. Bottom line, even though moving itself is stressful, Upack did quite a good job being on time with every steps (delivering relo cube, picking up loaded cube, delivering loaded cube, picking up empty cube). They give 2-3 days window of delivery time and they met the target! Also, during the transit time from NY to CA, tracking information was provided which is not available for most of other moving companies. The only reason why I gave 4 star instead of 5 was that when the dropped off the empty cube at my old location, the trucker showed up at 2am!!! when I've been waiting since noon according to the dispatch guy. Other than that, my move went okay and yes, when it arrived my stuff in the container moved around quite significantly but not much of damage. I guess this is my job to make sure it doesn't move a lot during transit. Loading Tip: Load your stuff to have equal height at the end. If you have one chair or one box sticking out at the top and think you did good job building the tower, that chair/box will move around on the empty top section and damage everything on the middle section...paid for my lesson learned... haha read more

We moved from NJ to FL. When booking, I explained we would need 2 relo-cubes but could not do both at once. It required them to make them separate 'moves' but the second one was discounted. (Our town required permits @ 25 each). Customer Service is excellent! Their website is very informative and price was great. I give our whole move 4.5. That's because the NJ side didn't pick up our one cube until 11:30 at night. The FL side I would give 6 stars! read more
