I usually pass this bank but never went because I usually go to another branch. Today, I stopped by because the other said branch is having issues with their vault to be opened around 2pm and the manager is not even sure. I came to cash a check. And the teller who helped me was all smiles and asked appropriate questions. There was no line so I was in and out. This bank has a lot of tellers - maybe 13 to 15. Enough tables to accommodate client with their needs with no privacy though and no bankers/employees around. There are like 3 ATMs outside and 1 inside. The first time I deposited a check here, the bank released a portion immediately and the rest the next day completely reasonable. But with my second paycheck? Not a single dollar was available. Instead, the bank put the entire check on hold for 10 days, leaving me completely unable to access the money I had earned. I am a single mother raising three children. At the time of this deposit, I had less than $25 in my account. My paycheck is not just money it is food for my kids, gas to get them to school, and the essentials that keep our lives running. By locking away my money for ten days, this bank forced my family into survival mode. I called customer service in tears, begging for even a small portion of my own money to be released so I could buy groceries and gas. This was my first time at this branch. The purpose of my visit was to deposit a check. My wait time was approximately 5 minutes. My teller's name was Sylva D. Contreras. I handed her my license, bank card, and check. Her first question was "who gave you this?" My response was "The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania." Next she asked, "why did they give you this?" Thinking this was not a question I should be asked and have to answer, I responded "is this information absolutely necessary?" She responded, "Yes." I informed her that this was a 'back payment' from my unemployment compensation claim. She then responded, "and it's from Pennsylvania?" I responded, "yes." She then began to inform me that the bank has had issues with "individuals" passing off fraudulent checks similar to mine. I felt that that was not information I needed. She then informed me my money was being placed on a "hold" She handed me a piece of paper informing me a portion would be released on 04/06/2022, with the remaining portion being released on 04/13/2022. I placed the paperwork in my folder, thanked her for her time, and immediately left. As I left I couldn't help but feel I did something wrong. worst experience ever been trying to register my motorhome for over a year and a half and I have done everything they have asked and still will not provide me with a duplicate title so I can register in my new state of Alabama Hadib nono is nono good doesn't help does not advocate for you. I had to register my motorhome as non op in ca cause I cant register here due to us bank not providing duplicate title to register but they are still taking their money . so i cant drive my motorhome but they are taking my payment and that is ok for them . I am extremely disappointed in this particular location, where I usually go due to convenience of location, but I have recently had an issue with the balance in my account and the recent fees they posted to my account, and not only was 'Rosa' rude to me about the issue, but when asked to speak to the supervisor, she was apparently 'too busy' to see me. I find that rather rude for one of their regular & loyal customers to be treated with such disregard. I also love how their attitude portrays as if their perfect, dainty fingers can't make a mistake inputting information into a computer & that the answer is simply that I am 'stupid' and can't do basic math, or manage my own money. When calling the 800 number and speaking to a supervisor, 'Georgia' proceeded to explain to me, as we went through each transaction that my information was matching theirs, and that she 'couldn't explain' why my balance doesn't match theirs.. We are talking a $60 difference .. But how CONVENIENT for me that they COULD figure it out for me at the 'low, affordable' rate of $36/hr! But, how ironic that Ms. Supervisor 'Georgia' only has the authorization to look back 2 months worth. I'm going to assume that the only thing she supervises there is the latrine. I've have this account for almost 3 years, and only opened one for the simple fact that my current company uses them as well. In this time, I've had this happen twice & the first time they were proven WRONG! And I'm happy to say that I made sure the associate who treated me so nastily was fired the first time. I am planning on having them go through the account from the day it opened to present and AGAIN proving themselves wrong tomorrow at opening. And I will NOT be paying any amount to them to do any of this. It's their mistake & they will fix it, just like they did last time. I will also sit there as they do it, just like I did the time before. They're so sneaky about things that you have to babysit them! LOL Sadly after all of this, I'll still be keeping my account with them for the simple fact that it's easier for work. But, I don't want them to get out of this 'unscathed.' They are sneaky and snide about their business ethics and policies and I would be happy to help others to avoid doing business with such a shady company & save them the headache & drama if at all possible. I was trying to open a business account. Went into four different banks. They all treated me bad for some reason! One bank said I had to go to one of there other branches because they don't open business accounts??? What ever!! I walked into this branch and had a wonderful time. I am going away from USBANK as of this last week. My account was low just before my direct deposit goes into my account. I get a 6.95 service fee putting my account into a negative balance then the service fee is waved because I do not have a fee its a free account with direct deposit. Now there is a 36.00 overdraft fee for the 5 seconds the account went negative on behalf of USBANKS Fee that was not actually charged. We called on this and they will not reverse it, so guess what? goodbye usbank. read more

Valley Central way gives beyond great service. I was banking at another bank which charged me every time I wanted to talk with someone and had limited me only 6 times a month. I was getting many recommendations to switch over to Us bank. Most of the recommendations were to specifically go to Valley Central. So finally I went in to see what they had in store. I had received outstanding service with much kindness from all employees. When I was in there, there was an upset customer and one of the Managers had handled it very calmly and made sure the customer left satisfied. All Employees had been kept busy getting work done that needed to be done. I had noticed that they would bounce back from helping customers and doing desk work. I had also noticed that they put the customers first. They had kept a positive attitude when handling each and every customer, making sure they made the customers happy and satisfied with the service given. Myself, noticing that they take care of each and every customer, had gotten me to switch over as soon as possible. read more
