Outstanding venue. Brian, the owner is 100% customer experience focused. Curates a fabulous collection of beers of all kinds. Great staff with a very solid food menu that's always expanding. And it's the area's best music venue. Music most evenings and late afternoons beginning on Wednesdays with Saturday and Sunday sessions as well. And it is very family friendly. Personally, as a patron and a performer I really like having the kids dancing around the stage area. No better place in the area to hang out. Sports are always on, lots of fun game nights including trivia and name that tune and Karaoke. Something for everyone. You'll dig it. read more

We traveled to US Brews because a friend of ours was playing in the band. We did like the aesthetics of US Brews. You have a serving bar (no seating), an area to listen to the band, shared tables, and a few cozy sitting areas. The kitchen ordering station is off to the side. You place your order and a server brings out your food. We ordered a giant hot pretzel and two sliders. The food was delicious but they ran out of cheese so we only had two types of mustard for dipping. Oopsie, someone dropped the ball there. With a limited menu, how can you run out of cheese? The different varieties of craft beer were endless. My husband enjoyed the flight samplings and then ordered his favorite. They even sell cans of craft beer to bring home. $4 for 12 oz and $6 for 14 oz. So far so good...eh? Well here's where our complaint comes in. Now mind you, we love kids but..... I do not love to see children running and screaming about when we purposefully came here to listen to the band play. The beer and food were just side notes. We had difficulty hearing the members when they were speaking and introducing each song. We were also distracted by the kiddie chaos. Why aren't these parents watching their kids? One little boy even got hurt before his parents scooped him up and brought him back to their table. Another threw an object (I think it was a ball.) over the speakers and into the area where the band was playing. I know management loves it when the place is hopping and people are spending money, but they need to kindly step in and remind the neglectful parents of their obligations. We actually only stayed a little over an hour and spent close to $80, but we will not be back. Well, maybe when we have our own grandbabies and they can have a diaper race across the bar's countertop. read more

A fun place to watch a live band. Lots of space, a good amount of large tables and a big bar. They have 2 big garage doors that I assume open in the warm weather. Then the brews, there are a ton of them with a lot of great local options. They also have cider and wine and a kitchen that serves up great-looking bar food. WOW! ! Everything is a WOW! Huge selection on tap. Warm, welcoming roomy space with lots of seating, games set out on the tables. It's clear they want you to have a good time here. Friendly staff. Cute new beer bar in Centerport! All kinds of beers on tap - definitely IPA heavy but they had some sours and ciders on tap for me to enjoy! Food area was open but some items were listed as coming soon (no mac & cheese or charcuterie boards yet, for example). The one thing this place will definitely need is more seating. The cooler/beer fridge area is nice and sleek but it seems like a lot of wasted space when we weren't the only ones standing with our beers. The bar itself has no seating and is strictly for ordering only. Service was prompt and courteous, though. Hopefully they'll add some more small tables or chairs around the barrels soon. read more

A friend recommended this place. He said it was worth the trip. Boy was he right. A great place to have some beers and live music. They have a great selection of craft beers from around the country so there is definitely something for everyone. They also have a nice kitchen menu for those beer food cravings. Perfect menu for the kids as well. Place was packed with a nice family vibe. Mom's Dads kids and grandparents too. Nice inviting fireplace keeps the place toasty on those cold days. AWESOME PRIVATE PARTY VENUE! Since US Brews opened a year ago, I have always known it as a fun place to grab a burger and watch sports or music - often at the same time lol - while enjoying a diverse array of Craft Beers lovingly selected by owner Brian McGunnigle. Recently, I found myself having to throw a post-wedding party for my son and 70 of his closest, thirstiest friends and family . I called Brian, and he put together an EPIC night for my son - with delicious food (Brian was happy to cater in any dish he couldn't provide, himself, from his ever-expanding kitchen menu), plus the usual tasty wines & brews. More importantly, Brian and his staff made my family feel like we were being hosted by a long-lost family member. Brian also worked with our budget (most of which came out of Dad's pocket, lol) to help us throw a party that looked like no expense had been spared. The ambience at US Brews is incredibly unique - as the couches, tables and spacing make it feel like you're having the party in your own home. US Brews is an exceptional venue for a private party, as well as just to bring your posse to go see a band or watch a ballgame. Brian McG is the best! read more

Had a great time at US Brews last night! To begin with, I love the way it's decorated and the music that was being played. Nice classic rock and some Phish - loved it. Secondly I was really impressed by how friendly everyone behind the bar was. I got to try the sour before I ordered a pint. It was delicious! Had the lager and that was great too. Love that they carry local beer. The bathrooms were immaculate and there were plenty of tables to sit at. And the food! The pretzel was delicious!! Can't wait to go back and try other things!! Absolutely amazing selection of great rotating selection of beer! Vibe is always good, and the hot pretzel is the best pretzel!!! I have kids and would bring them however multiple times I've seen kids running around seemingly unsupervised, which is the only thing to improve upon (which is not entirely the owners responsibility). Overall though highly recommend! read more

Before tonight -- I was here once before -- I loved this place. Now -- not so much. It's the fucking Wild West. We sat patiently waiting hours for a table-- which were filled with dozens of kids on iPads while their parents got blitzed and paid no attention to them. When a table finally freed up we had to fight it out with a bunch of assholes who got here after us. If you like this kind of drama come here. Otherwise-- stay away. read more

Great place - decor - beer - live music- atmosphere- it's a keeper! So happy it's 5 minutes from my house - I will be a regular! Bring your friends - children - or just drop by for a beer - they have so many and you can try before ordering. Two comfortable sofas sit before a stone fireplace.
