We were recommended to try this sushi rest out so we did! Thank goodness! This is our favorite sushi place so far. We love smoked eel and they put plenty on their rolls. The eel inside the small rolls was not as tasty. I love that they cut them slimmer so I can fit the roll in my mouth without looking like a horse cramming in its hay! The only negative aspect is their seaweed salad. It's weirdly creamy. The staff is super nice. read more

We came here based on the reviews & didn't exude in satisfaction. After our first round, we opted not to order anymore food. Why? Answer: The accompanying salad for the Teriyaki entrees was wet & drenched in mayonnaise oppose to the Ginger aspect of the dressing. The Salmon was barley cooked & inundated in sauce. Same for my Spring Rolls that were undercooked & soggy...Spring Rolls are usually the sure thing. The interior boasts a relaxing atmosphere nicely accented by the lighting & decor. The Sushi Bar is highly colorful illuminating the open dining space consisting of booths & tables. Located in a strip mall in the heart of downtown Easton, one of few Sushi places in the surrounding area. The "specialty rolls" are not included in the 3-roll special. My friend swears by the "specialty" spicy lobster roll... and says one order of fried rice is enough for two people. We absolutely love U Sushi. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. The staff is always so generous and kind. We eat there at least once a week. Even though I'm a vegetarian, they always have tons of options for me to eat. Before I became a vegetarian, I tried most of their sushi and it is delicious too. Love U Sushi! We stopped in for lunch today and this place is excellent. Cold, fresh salad, shared a special Ichiban sushi roll and we each had pad Thai noodles. Some good (VERY good!), some bad (VERY bad...) The Crispy Snapper was so fantastic it is on our list of destination dishes. We live over an hour away and we will come back for this alone. An appetizer that was so unusual and delicious that it is a contender for our destination list is the Indian Pancake. The Rock N Roll Maki was wonderful. Unfortunately the Tempura was hideous-thick batter, poorly cut veg-one of the worst. And the teriyaki sauce (special request for dipping) was a corn-starchy goo that had only a cloying sweet flavor note. And the hideous tempura batter ruined the Jumbo Shrimp with Honey Walnut. This could have been a terrific dish had the shrimp not been coated in the same tempura batter. With minor tweaks, this place could easily be 5 star... read more

I haven't been able to find good sushi in the area yet except at Harris Teeter, the food store. Unfortunately that still holds true. I had take out sushi and sashimi today and it wasn't bad but it wasn't good. The sushi was not well rolled and fell apart when I picked it up with chop sticks. The other problem was that it lacked flavor but on the positive side the fish was fresh. I have always had sashimi that was a piece of fish on top of rice and you pick it up as one piece and eat it. They served it differently. It was a piece of fish and no rice which was not bad but it wasn't complete. The only real negative I have is their Indian Pancakes. They were saturated with oil. Will I go back there? Not soon, if at all, there are other places to try. read more

This place might escape your attention as it's in a small strip mall-like building, but don't let that keep you from trying the place. I've been here several time and the food is really good. They have a range of Asian food, not just sushi, so there's something for almost every group of diners. Service is usually attentive, although not a lot of interaction. Had dinner tonight here tonight, party of five, three of which were kids. Service was terrific, sushi was terrific. We had sashimi, sushi rolls, salads, chicken fried rice and the Indian bread. Everything was excellent! So nice to enjoy sake and Sapporo with the meal. Highly recommend a relaxing dinner here. We were also brought ice cream (red bean, vanilla) with whip cream complimentary, I mean that doesn't happen anymore at restaurants given inflation and how crazy hard restaurants have it right now. Truly if I could rate this establishment with zero stars I would. Food was mediocre at best. The service however was absolutely atrocious and the most unprofessional I've ever experienced. My friend and I have gone to this restaurant twice for food and on the first occasion we were asked how the service was after giving no tip to which we replied that it was "good". It was nothing special and the server got our food incorrect- giving us an extra roll we never asked for and completely forgetting one of our items which resulted in no tip. This last time the service declined even further. Our server declined to give us a kids hibachi meal as my friend was not younger than 12 but this was not an issue last time when he was under the impression he would be getting tipped. After this they took over 40 minutes to bring out ONE single California roll when I had ordered 3 and I then had to wait an additional 20 minutes to receive my remaining two. All of the while people sat after us were already receiving their food. Understandably when we went to pay, we did not leave a tip as the service was substandard. We were then given a lecture by the woman at the front desk about how it is supposedly a requirement to tip at an establishment if the service is good IN FRONT of other customers. We proceeded to explain that a tip is earned and not a given and with the amateur service we received we did not find that it was earned. Furthermore, if this is an expectation then it should be included in the receipt. I myself have worked in the food industry and fully understand how important tips are but never in a million years would I ever embarrass customers and try to intimidate them into giving a tip. I advise anyone looking to get sushi to go to Sakura on Route 50 for better quality food and staff that aren't entitled brats. Never will I ever give my money to an establishment that tries to bully their customers into giving tips when they have not been earned and I suggest everyone else does the same. read more

Reading a couple of negative reviews mystifies me. We eat at U Sushi regularly, and have never been disappointed. The sushi is good, although we more often choose the Thai items, which represent a smaller--but excellent--side of their menu. Good Asian food is hard to find in this area, so we are delighted to have found this place. Servings are generous, service is very good and extremely attentive (simply looking up from my dish brought a waiter instantly), and prices are quite reasonable. read more

Probably the best kept secret in Easton. I'm actually hesitant to turn people on to them. I used to go to the other side of Marlboro for my Japanese food and sushi, but after experiencing U SUSHI, I'll never cross that road again. If you want the onion volcano or desire catching shrimp tossed at your mouth, then go to the other place. If you want excellent, delicious sushi, the U SUSHI is the place.
