I had an older IPad that was experiencing a significant reduction in battery life. I brought it to them 5 months ago, and they recommended battery replacement. This appeared to address the issue, as the battery life improved for a time. Then the problem recurred, but so this I time I was informed that analytics indicated that the battery was fine, and the issue was with the age of the IPad. They were dismissive of my inquiry as to why the battery life temporarily improved, and implied it was likely never a battery issue to begin with. While I don't know whether this is an issue with the IPad or the new battery, regardless I believe that either the battery shouldn't have been replaced without a caveat that it would potentially not address the problem (upon my return I was told that they had no record of any analytics performed on the original battery) or a battery replacement or partial refund should have been offered. read more

I am very upset with them. I brought my daughter's Nintendo Switch in today, and they told me that a processing chip needed to be replaced, which cost $149. I had it replaced, but now, at 9:20 PM, the exact same issue has occurred--it won't turn on, and it won't charge. What did you charge me $149 for? Did you conduct a quality inspection after the replacement, or did you just swap out a part without verifying if anything else was wrong? I'm extremely frustrated and can't do anything about it until Monday. I feel like they just wanted to charge me $149 and sell me an unnecessary insurance plan, yet they can't even fix my device properly. read more

This place was unbelievable! Went in last week and had Ethan fix my phone. I had been told at the Apple Store previously that paying for art Asurion insurance and apple care is a waste of money but this visit alone proved that wrong. I was able to be in and out in 30 minutes. New screen and everything working like new. My screen previously had been smashed will be using them in the future if I ever need these services again. I feel compelled to give anyone reading this a warning about this location (as someone who originally wrote them a 5-star review). There are serious concerns about the safety of your information and ethical practices and my experience has been quite disappointing so far. It started when I came in with a Nintendo Switch I inherited from an old roommate. The switch wasn't powering on and I wanted to see if it would be cheaper to repair it rather than eventually buy a new one. I was prepared to spend some money and was okay with my original quote pending a full diagnostic. I was called the next day and told that once they did a battery pull, it came right on and it should be in good working condition. As a result, there wouldn't be a charge for the service. I immediately told my own customers (I'm an Uber driver) and friends in the area about what a great place this was and planned on bringing in my Chromebook next. Prior to returning, I also spent a significant amount of the repair money on used games for the device, now having little left for the repair itself for the foreseeable future. Upon making a second trip to collect my device I was first told that they mixed up the Switches and I was given the update of someone else's device. If this were true, did they almost send me away with someone else's equipment and potentially information? They said that "my" Switch still wasn't powering on and they would have to replace the board but would take another look first. Shortly after I received a call from the manager of the location, who THEN said they did actually look at my Switch and the original estimate was going to be valid. This is after I spent money on non-refundable accessories and made a second trip up there. I was clear that while I didn't expect it to be free, given the circumstances and misinformation, they needed to get as close to "free" as possible, especially since I already did so much in good faith. I was offered a $20 discount on a $140 repair after the manager escalated to the owner. After that, I reached out to corporate in an attempt to have a liaison understand it's far more ethical and ultimately profitable to HONOR YOUR WORD and just take the hit on one board to get active promotion and future business. Having worked in similar fields at Best Buy and Verizon, this is a highly unethical position. Furthermore, why did the story change so many times? What if this was a storage device with sensitive information just passed around or misquoted? Ive yet to hear from the location again or from someone in the corporate office. I will continue to make sure people know this office is highly unethical and inconsiderate of its customers. Just from a pure business logic perspective they've cost themselves far more than it would have been to at least meet me in the middle. While I don't believe in cancel culture, practices like these need to be starved out. Stand behind your diagnostics and respect the efforts of your customers. read more

There was a recent update to Android phones that caused the battery on my Google Pixel to drain extremely quickly. I had called around to a few places, but no one was willing to take on the job until I managed to get an appointment here. I really wish I knew the name of the young man that helped me out, they were very professional, quick to solve the issue, and totally transparent on the costs. I'm very grateful for the help I received. I know you can replace a phone, but having to reconfigure all the two factor authentication I have would be a pain in itself and surely some information would be lost in the process. looks like this location also has the lowest review ratings Andrew told me his security cameras were recording our conversation so I felt the need to record and let all of you know what I went through....If I could do zeros stars I would, I went in with a Pixel 6a mid last year, paid about 185$ for the replacement of a screen that was cracked.... funny thing about my cracked screens is that the touch sensor worked but my display cracked and the image was messed up.... went in yesterday after reseting my phone completely like the tech told me to do a few days prior... the portion of the screen had gotten less and less responsive over time, I notticed this about a month after the screen was replaced, when my strokes up and down to change videos on you tube went from an inch to about 3 inches over the past few months... but what really bothered me is it was really figity to pull down the top android menue.... where the flashlight and airplane mode stuff is.... So I called them then went back for warranty replacement.... they checked, i was within the year they took the phone t the back and after 10 mintues or so, I think they used a microscope to find a scratch , who knows, maybe they put the scratcheds in looking for them.... they came back and said the warranty is invalid.. I mean I guess there was days I did not shave and that must be the scratches they claim I have, good luch trying to see them with the naked eye... none the less Its the top layer of the screen... not the touch recognition layer... Manager said he makes the call so I asked for the owner or a means of contacting them. he said he already did... I think i will make a youtube video of the screens condition with my friends phone and update this post with a link to that video... these guys are ridiculous. the touch response layer is not above the protective glass layer in cellphones.... I found this manager insulting snice I actually worked on capacitive touch screens through out my career as an electrical engineer.... what he was telling me kept changing ... they had to take the phone to the back and spent 10 minutes looking for scratches, and came out to tell me there is a scratch they can feel with their fingernail... supposedly in the bottom portion of the screen and not the area that I was having the most problem with. Went in two twice to find out why my laptop wasn't charging even when it was plugged in. Twice they plugged their own cord into it, said it worked fine, and sent me away. I finally took it to another, better place, which correctly diagnosed and repaired the faulty charging port. read more

Dropped iPad and screen went black. They ran diagnostic test for free and then provided an estimate for repairs. I approved repair and soon all was back to normal. They provided extensive paper trail of both what would be done in the estimate and what they did end up doing and the subsequent costs. Using them again soon for a printer repair. read more

The reason why this establishment gets 2 stars is because I ultimately did not get my phone fixed. I came in hoping to fulfill my phone insurance for a broken screen. I felt bad as Tommy tried to do everything he could possibly do. He went above and beyond and helped me call technical support of asurion. The system was down and we could not get my phone calibrated properly with the screen he replaced it with. It was actually heart breaking to spend hours trying to get a replacement and then us having to take it off because of issues with servers. The only highlight of my day was Tommy giving me the reference numbers to call asurion to get this all sorted out. Tommy gets 5 stars. UBreakiFix gets 0. read more

Took a Google pixel in, under warranty, after it shut off and wouldn't power on. They said they'd have it done the next day because it was evening. The next day at noon, no update had been emailed or called in, so I called. They have to replace the motherboard which has to be ordered. Another day or two. After the motherboard replacement, the sim card wouldn't work in the phone. Took it back to them and they're unable to fix or replace that motherboard error, due to "google warranty rules". Without a phone for about a week, now. No accountability on their end. Beware. read more
