If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I came across Udelle's through yelp so decided to walk in and see if she could squeeze me in. Not only did she squeeze me into her busy schedule but she also skipped her break to cut my hair. Udelle took her time and did not rush anything and I left with probably the BEST haircut I've ever gotten. I've visited multiple barbershops in the Redondo/Torrance/Gardena area and have been disappointed time and time again. I always show the same picture of how I'd like my haircut so when I showed it to Udelle, she took a quick glance and went to work. End result came it precisely how I wanted it. Not only that, but she even offered my wife and I cold water to drink and tv to watch. I'm very happy I found this place and Udelle has just earned a new long-term customer. One important note that Udelle mentioned is to call about 2-3 days in advance to schedule an appointment. During my haircut, she probably received 3-5 calls to schedule appointments (not surprised at all). If you've been disappointed by your haircuts around this area, do yourself a favor and schedule an appointment with Udelle and you'll soon forget what a bad haircut is. read more

First off I'm not usually the type to leave a review . But I moved down here to Torrance back in 2016, and I've been looking for a good barber ever since. I went to one in redondo, and I can't seem to remember the name , but I told the barber at this place how to do my hair, and he says ok. Then goes off to cut it like his, and nothing like how I wanted it. It was overly aggravating. So I told myself I'd never come back to that place. The next one I went to, west Torrance barber, and there were 3 barbers there, 2 were busy except for one. I should've known hat I should've waited for the other 2, but I went with the one that wasn't busy, just so I can get it over with ( and boy that was a big mistake), however it wasn't as bad as the first place I went to, but still wasn't what I was looking for. And these places charged $30, before tip. I was reluctant to go to another one, but decided to make a leap of faith and went to this barber, I told her exactly what I wanted and really took the time to make it worth it, I really found a gem at this one, and I'll be going here from here forward. She also has a large variety of men's hair products such as Suavecito and Hanz de Fuko. My first time there she greeted me with a smile and took the time to really get a good idea of exactly the type of haircut I wanted. Udelle took her time, I could tell she is very detail oriented and meticulous, which is something I appreciate in a good barber. I have been using Udelle for over 5 Years. I met her at SuperCuts years ago and wont go to anyone but her. She's the kind of Barber that when you call to see if shes available and if she not, then you want to wait till she is. She cuts mine and my sons hair. The detail that she puts into cutting my hair is Above what you can get anywhere else. When I had to go elsewhere for a cut, I could ALWAYS expect to touch up my own hair after getting it cut because they would always miss a spot or my hair was too long in spots.
