The lights in this gym are way too bright. I've literally seen people in here wearing sunglasses because of the stupid circular lights hanging from the ceiling. They are way too bright. This gym has a serious problem with members not re-racking their weights and other equipment when done with it. There's no one walking around telling people to re-rack their weights and there's also no signs. However.... If you love walking up to the leg press machine with five 45 pound plates on each side that someone left and didn't take off, then this is the gym for you. The bathrooms do not have paper towels which I'm sure, in a GYM.... Anyone can imagine there's things you need paper towels for in a gym locker room. They have the nautilus hip thrust machines but no padding for the belt bands. How is anyone supposed to use them without padding? I've heard girls talking and they go out and buy their own squat pads and hip thrust from the bar on the floor instead of using the hip thrust machine. There's no bar Pads for squatting, so bring your own. There's No yoga mats in this whole entire gym so.... Where are you supposed to do abs? Lol. Sitting on the turf floor? Or the hard wood floor in the aerobics room? The yoga balls are weird. They're either a low quality yoga ball or they're not filled up properly. Your cardio options are limited as this gym doesn't have any arc trainers. If this gym wants to compete with other gyms in the area they need more hip thrust stations and gluteal equipment. I have been here 1 month and I really like the friendliness of the staff, the location, vibe, clean environment. One of the managers, Matt, has been the best. He is responsive, readily available, and helpful. I really like the boxing/kickboxing professional coaches. I also recommend my personal trainer, Reginald (Reggie), with 20+ years experience. I have past injuries but I still get a tough workout with proper technique so I don't hurt myself. In general I noticed that the trainers are really focused on their clients (not looking around). I love the recovery room, especially the cryo; muscle recovery is faster and less painful for me. On another note, I have seen reviews about the weight area being too busy but I have had good experiences with friendly members that allowed me to work in with them. It's only been a month but this is unlike other gyms where I feel like a no named member. I feel like I found my tribe and the personal experience makes me look forward to going to the gym. read more

I want to like this gym. To start, the staff is extremely nice and attentive. Some of the best gym staff I've ever experienced. Equipment is great, and the layout is wonderful. Yet, I'm slowly growing to dislike the gym because of two reasons. One the lights are too bright. Some machines are positioned right below the lights and if I accidentally glance at the ceiling I'm seeing purple rings for the next two minutes, and eye pain don't think that's a good thing. Second, the sauna is weak, even when the heat is turned up it takes a while to feel the heat. I've heard similar complaints so many times but nothing is done about it, I believe it's brand policy and staff may have their hands Either way, I'm giving it a few more months if nothing changes I unfortunately will have to cancel my membership!! read more

If I could give NEGATIVE stars I swear I would. I've only stepped into the gym ONCE after signing up, and it was to try and cancel. I was LIED to upon signing up, baited and switched and when I said I was unsatisfied I got the cold shoulder just long enough for them to charge me over $525 in a single MONTH. Imagine my horror when I called ALL numbers given to me to cancel and was rebuffed. Diana, the front desk worker, even hung up on myself AND my partner when we tried asking for Amanda Wilson, the manager. We've been told to email her (why would I email a manager when she could pick up the phone ?). And still, even after doing that, we've gotten nowhere and have had to contact our bank WITH THEM ON THE LINE, to get our monies back. I'm currently still waiting on the dispute to clear, and will DEFINITELY be contacting corporate in Las Vegas. I'll also be letting all of my high profile nfl clients know that they should go train elsewhere, or be RAPED with fraudulent charges and given the shaft by UFC fit plantation! read more

Amazing gym! Great amenities, super clean, and staff is awesome. The place is huge and has multiple of the same type of machines so you dont have to wait during busy times. They have Hoist, Hammer Strength and Nautilus machines. Huge turf area is a plus! Lighting is also great, lot of natural light. Overall best gym in the area! read more

Worst experience of my life. I would highly recommend avoiding this gym. I initially joined this gym before the doors were open and was advised like many others by (Flash McLemore) that the gym would be opening in the following month, and that I would be notified via email and called when it did. Months went by and I would call and was informed there were delays due to permits however they would notify me one way the gym opened. Months later I start noticing charges on my card and I went by and the gym was opened and I was never called or emailed or advised of the opening. I decided to come by because I am now pregnant and let them know I wanted to place a hold on the membership until after my delivery and also advised that they had been charging my account but never even informed the gym was officially open. I spoke with manager (Alexander Sleem) whom had acknowledged that this had happened to others and he would place my account on a medical hold and make sure that I would not be charged the annual fee because everything that happened and him verifying that I was never notified of the gyms opening and was just being charged. He stated if there was an issue he would contact me but insured that I would not be charged anything else monthly or the annual gym fee and that he himself would contact corporate. The following month which is today July 1st I notice a charge from UFC again. I called the gym and explained the situation only to be answered by an unprofessional young front desk staff who stated ( I don't know who told you that we can't do that) I proceeded to ask for a manger and his name he stated there are no mangers and I can't give you my name and hung up. I decided to swing by and speak to manager and again was greeted by a front desk employee (Gianna Caminero) with lots of attitude when I asked her to speak to a manager because I had past situation that I wanted to be corrected. She then asked manager Mariano Gutierrez's whom just so happened to be walking by if he could assist and he said he was busy and continued to walk by. Then she turned around and told me that there are no mangers and to come back Tuesday because what did I want her to do. Finally one of the gentleman that helped me when I first came with my initial complaint recognized me and remembered the past situation and that I was told (by Alexander Sleem) that I would not be charged. however he also advised me that he would notify Alexander that he forgot to send and email to corporate to waive the fee. As he was letting me know this the manager (Alexander Sleem) walks out of the back because he was at the gym the entire time after I was told several times there were no manager. I proceeded to speak to him and he remembered that this is what he told me but then turned around and told me oh (yeah corporate emailed and said we couldn't void the fee but I forgot to contact you) I explained to him also that his staff was beyond unprofessional and proceeded to say yeah they should be fired and he himself being unhelpful and sarcastic. I proceeded to cancel my membership, never got a refund either, this is the nonsense I had to deal with while I'm 6months pregnant with these people. I would not recommend this gym to anyone at all. I am submitting a complaint with corporate and I must say from what I was told no manager there can help in these situations (by Giannna Caminero) who also told me she could not provide me with corporates phone number all address. These are all the managers in this location Elena Garcia Alexander Sleem Jason Foxworth Mariano Gutierrez All which do not contact there patrons when something in done in error on there end and try correct situations like this. I am highly disappointed in the UFC gym brand and will be also advising corporate and complaining about this particular location. The staff here do not care but you can't blame them when the store manager is also an idiot who cannot get a simple refund completed due to their own lack of efficient in properly cancelling. I cancelled my request per the agreement both by going in and advising of cancellation and sending the email. This brand is extremely aweful and can care less about their clients. They only see $$ and will continue to bill you after cancellation. I've been billed 9 months each month after cancelling and I've taken time off from work to see the manager, I've emailed, I've called. He must be too busy measure his lack of self esteem to return a client's call. If you value your time and money, find a better gym. UFC fit is an unreliable, unfair, unethical brand that I will never endorse and will be filing charges for the time off without pay, the gas, time and distress to go there to fight for my hard earned money that was stolen from this incapable group of people. read more

The trinity challenge of mental, physical and social whilst on the mat can feel overwhelming to someone who is just starting. However, Coach Kevin provides step-by-step instructions on the position of each extremity in relation to the move. His even-temperedness when demonstrating a technique promotes a feeling of inclusiveness for the whole class. He goes around the room, in a round robin fashion, to each pair and offers corrections and encouragement. It is apparent that he genuinely enjoys teaching this discipline. The accumulation of his expertise and acquired know-how in this arena, combined with excellent communication skills and innate ability to motivate people, has prepared him well to lead and mentor on a much larger scale.
