We got take-out so this review is only about the food. The hummus is good, but 2x overpriced for the portion size. The borek is ok, but it's probably better when it's hot and fresh. The beef doner wrap, while it had a lot of meat, is bland. It's served only with cabbage, a light sauce, and was quite salty. I didn't taste of the flavors I'd expect like onions, garlic, sumac, or other spices. Other than the hummus, the prices do seem like normal big city prices. We went early on a Friday night and it filled up by the time we were leaving. Falafel was crisp and flavorful, hummus was nice and smooth. It was served with warm fresh flat bread. We split the mixed grill, and all of the meats were amazing but the lamb kabobs were especially nice. I went back this week for a falafel sandwich, which was easily two meals. The pickled onions and tart pickles made a nice contrast to the falafel. Wonderful flavors. I hope they're around for a long time. read more

INCREDIBLE. Actually blew me away. Support local! I did an order pickup and it was ready fast and was hot. They have a drive-thru for pickup which I love. The girl on the phone and the young man who gave me my order were both very nice and provided great service. The Chicken Doner wrap was phenomenal. Paying $15 for a Shawarma that is skimpy on the meat leaving you feeling shortchanged isn't going to fly here. Our second visit within a week. We just had to come back. There was the complimentary saucer of carrot spread with warm pita bread. I had the Baba Ganoosh which was rich and flavorful, followed by the lentil soup, also delicious. My wife had the Hummus appetizer followed by the Mucver Plate (think of a potato pancake made with eggplant). It was fried beautifully and set on warm pita. Spicy and accompanied by rice and pickled onions. It, too, was wonderful. She had baclava for dessert, and I had a chocolate and crushed cookie parfait. Both were terrific. Friendly staff and amazing food! My husband and I have been there twice and absolutely love it! They start you out with fresh warm pita and a shredded carrot salad that is perfectly seasoned. The falafel appetizer is crispy and very flavorful with a tomato sauce for dipping that has just the right amount t of kick from cayenne pepper. We get the chicken Doner lunch and the beef and lamb Doner lunch. They are served with rice and an onion salad that my husband loves. The food comes out at the right pace and is piping hot. Review based on delivery. First time we have had their food but definitely not the last. Had the mixed grill, eggplant salad and hummus. Very high quality lamb chops with the mixed grill. Tender and juicy even with delivery. The rest of the meat was good also. Chose the eggplant salad over Baba Ganoush because it also has roasted peppers and onions. Simply delicious, great smokey eggplant flavor. The carrot salad which came with the grill was tasty also, but the rice was a real eye opener. We regularly use several kinds of rice with different meals, but had never had this. Don't know what it is, but it is excellent!! Really wanted to like this. Have been waiting for Mediterranean in Springfield for a long time but the food was utterly flavorless. Tried doner and then kebabs to see if we just had a bad dish. Both were missing a lot of spice and the chicken doner was extremely dry, almost like chipped beef texture. Each of those plates was around $22! It was also extremely expensive for what we got.
