Ilham was great. My LG dryer stopped heating, and he was able to come the same day (we're located in downtown San Jose). The price seemed fair as well, given that he had to pull my dryer apart to replace the heat-limiting element. He had the right part with him in his van. My dryer is stacked above the washer and he needed to use a ladder to reach the rear panels, but he didn't complain, he just did the work and fixed my dryer in less than 2 hours. This guy is a crook! He was sent out to repair a refrigerator by my home warranty company. He submitted a work order to the warranty company claiming to have replaced something, but instead he gave me used parts and/or tried to piece together the part to try and make it work. He was paid out by my warranty company for the entire replacement part valuing approximately $400-$500 and replaced only a part of the unit that cost under $100. What he did, did not resolve the issue and had to be called back out to fix it again. He sent another guy because he was not available. The other guy replaced another item that was aftermarket and made things worse. From that point on, they came back out another 3-4 times maybe more, over a year span, trying to make adjustments, replacing the original part that he tried to get over on the warranty company on, and ended up quitting the job because he couldn't figure it out. The warranty company had to send out another vendor to finish the job. This guy is rude, dishonest, and extremely unprofessional. Not sure how his review rating is so high with his attitude and work ethics. read more

I normally don't write reviews but the behavior of one of their employees, Ilham, was absolutely outrageous. Fidelity National Home Warranty sent him over to fix my aunt's dishwasher, which is unable to finish a complete cycle. Instead, it will halt mid-cycle and the "start/resume" button will flash; if you press the "start/resume" button, the wash cycle appears to resume but will again halt mid-cycle soon thereafter. This behavior repeats itself indefinitely, regardless of how many times you press the "start/resume" button. (In particular, ever since this issue emerged, the dishwasher never seems to enter the drying phase of the wash cycle anymore.) During his initial visit, Ilham said that he could fix this problem by resetting the power supply, which he did. This did not fix the issue. During his second visit, he insisted to my aunt that this mid-cycle halting is the expected, normal behavior of the dishwasher. It obviously is not. He further stated that, when the "start/resume" button flashes, she should just press the "cancel/drain" button and then remove the dishes (which, if one does so, results in wet and sometimes soapy dishes...). My aunt is an elderly woman, and English is not her first language, so she could not effectively argue with Ilham and explain to him that he is wrong (nor should she have to, had Ilham properly done his job). After leaving, Ilham reported to Fidelity that he had successfully fixed our dishwasher. When my aunt contacted Ilham again (as Fidelity had requested that she do), Ilham yelled at my aunt through the phone and berated her, exclaiming that he had fixed our dishwasher and telling her to never contact him again. So Ilham is either here to collect the service fee from home warranty providers without putting in the work, or he is a completely incompetent idiot at fixing dishwashers. Did a great job. Professional, knowledgeable, and fixed our dryer in one appointment. The details- Our dryer went out over the weekend. we were left with clean clothes but they were wet. We placed a service request through our home warranty company, First American. We were matched with ISIB appliance & HVAC. I called and Ilham answered the phone immediately. We went through a home warranty service and this contractor reached out to us to confirm the type of washer and the issue on Monday and then booked an appointment for Friday. They sent a kid that had no experience and he said - we don't service units stacked or front loading units- when I had specifically told them both of these things in text earlier that week. So he left saying he couldn't fix it. They wasted a whole week of time before a holiday weekend so now we have been without a washer for 9 days because of their horrible service and response. Just fixed my built in microwave. Replied to request within a day even during holiday weekend. Took apart the microwave and seemed to know the problem but checked other areas. Also once it was fixed tested microwave working when any part was re installed as this was a built in. He cleaned the microwave before replacing. This is hands down once of the worst contractors I've worked with. He was constantly late and took over 4 weeks to order a replacement part even though another company was able to do it in 3 days. On top of the part being delayed, he didn't even fix the issue with the fridge and when I asked him if he'd be coming back he proceeded to get upset so I asked home warranty to assign a different contractor.
