I had 2 plumbing issues: 1) the dishwasher drain hose was clogged and need replacement and 2) A new refrigerator water line. Called Jim around 12 and told me they would send someone out today. I got a high water bill and had a leak detection company come out. Narrowed down the leak location to the outside water line by the water meter. The drain line from the kitchen at my father-in-law's house was clogged severely and wasn't draining. I described the problem on Yelp and Jim from Uleakifix was the first one to respond. The pricing sounded reasonable. I had a quick chat through Yelp chat and then set up a time. The first communication was on Friday. He was booked on Saturday so we decided on Monday for the repair. We did a bit more work (complete cleaning of the draining pipe inside as opposed to just snaking) so the final price was more than what was quoted originally. In general, I believe the initial quote doesn't mean much - sometimes the estimate can change or we need more service so eventhough we ended up paying more than the original quote, it was reasonable. I was at work when the repair was done. According to my son - they arrived early and explain clearly what needed to be done. And the work itself seemed to be quite involved so the final service/product was well worth it. My wife says the drain is now working perfect. My drain pipe under one of my sinks in the master bathroom was leaking. I messaged Uleakifix on Yelp, and Jim called promptly after 7AM. He came to my house exactly when he said he would, between 9:15-9:30AM, with his co-worker, Salvador. After inspecting my 1980's vintage plastic pipe, he told me the potential problems and costs to replace and fix the leakage. Jim and Sal discussed the strategy for fixing the problem. While Sal was busy sawing off pieces of the old, glued together, plastic pipe, Jim was off to buy needed parts. After reassembling with the new part, Jim turned on water, and filled the sink to then drain and test the repair. Hallelujah!
