Missing item, terrible resolution. Received my order on 6/4/26 with La Bomba Perfume missing. The shipping label states 5 lbs -- I weighed the box with everything I received and it weighs exactly 5 lbs. A 2.7 oz glass bottle cannot weigh zero pounds. I also have an unboxing video proving it was never in the box. Despite all of this evidence, Ulta refused to reship or refund. Stopped by Ulta Beauty mainly because the big bottles of Matrix shampoo and conditioner were on sale for $29.99, which is a great deal considering they're usually around $44.99. Definitely worth stocking up when you see that price. My daughter had been wanting pimple patches, so she picked out the star-shaped ones. They were cute, but honestly pretty pricey...$8.99 for just 12 patches felt a bit steep for what you get. She also grabbed the Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 48 fragrance, and that entire line smelled amazing. We took time testing a few scents and they were all really warm, sweet, and long-lasting. The only downside was realizing I had a coupon that expired the day before if I had caught it sooner, the perfume would've been significantly cheaper, which was frustrating. Lesson learned: always check coupons before heading to checkout. Overall, Ulta is great for sales on hair care and trying new beauty products, but prices can add up quickly if you miss a coupon or promo. Absolute worst location in the valley. Every single time I come there's an issue, poor customer service, no problem solving skills. They also stopped offering curbside pick up apparently, but the app still gives the option to place an order for curbside pick-up. I showed up with a half dressed infant and dog in the car and had to beg the manager to even meet me at the front door (I was parked right in front of the door.) She kept reiterating she can't leave the store for her saftey as if there was truly some risk walking 5 steps to a car she could almost touch from the door. I understand policy, but when the policy and tech fail to communicate that to the customer, customer service says, "hey let me find a solution for you after driving 20 minutes with a kid and dog so you don't have to leave them unattended in a car" cause you know, humans, empathy, problem solving? I only came to this location because it was the only one that had what I needed in stock for pick up but next time I'd rather get it shipped than to deal with poor attitude and no customer service skills. read more

I usually don't give bad reviews as I typically have good experiences at Ulta hair salons. Anna, the hairdresser decided with me on how much to cut from my hair and she cut more hair than what we agreed on. I noticed that she was gossiping throughout the whole duration that I was while she was cutting my hair. I found that to be unprofessional and she was not focused so much on my hair which she ended up cutting more than what we discussed. After she blow dried my hair I was so disappointed with how much hair was cut off and it looked like a mushroom and mullet styled haircut. I know that i previously had damaged to my hair but I honestly didn't want that much cut off especially with unflattering styled haircut which now it will take time to go. I just felt she didn't care and was more in tune gossiping with her colleague rather than giving me a good experience. I don't recommend her at all for her hair services. I placed an order for pickup. Upon walking in to the store Savannah asks if I'm picking up online order, I reply with a yes then without acknowledging my response she continues to bag items. I responded with Yes again because I thought she didn't hear me but she responded with "I heard you the first time" I waited there for 10 minutes while being ignored. Another cashier then asked me if I was there to pick up to which I responded with yes again. Then she proceeded to tell Savannah that I have been waiting. The first woman who greeted us was very friendly and found a salesperson to help me. The salesperson tried different makeup tones on me for a good match. That was great. But at a certain point, she glazed over and didn't want to talk. She didn't want to do anything more. She became very monotone and a bit unfriendly. I definitely knew I was an imposition on her valuable time. I've worked retail sales. You don't do that. Would it have killed her to be friendly? Apparently. Then the woman who rang me up did not look at me the entire time and was completely zoned out. This was on a Wednesday. I'm guessing they don't work on commission, or are super burnt out. Or paid minimum wage, maybe no health insurance? Idk. It was noticeably bad. UPDATE: I now have to go back and return the foundation she sold me. Though I told her I have to avoid the sun due to family history of skin cancer, she sold me a bottle of Pur "Love Your Selfie," which contains AHA's and a warning to wear sunscreen with it (ok), but also stay out of the sun after wearing it and never get a sunburn (this doesn't sound good for someone with my Skin Cancer history). ‍ Get it together, y'all. UPDATE 2: I returned the Pur foundation and found a new shade from Tarte. My salesperson was Rae, and she was extremely helpful and very into her job. Also I noticed another salesperson was very friendly and helpful to other customers. The same unfriendly salesperson is still there. 2 out of 3 ain't bad; I guess I will revisit this location. After a long day of work, I decided to stop by Ulta Beauty because they had a good sale going on. As soon as I walked into the store I wasn't greeted, took me awhile to find skin care section. I was going to ask for help but I was ignored by the sales associate. I felt like they had other things to do like text on there phone besides helping customers. In the end I did end up finding the skin care set I was looking for at least. Once I got into the line I notice there was only one cashier ringing up customers. There had to be at least 40 people in line and no one was helping. I felt bad for the poor cashier. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! no wonder this location has only 3 stars...i had an online pickup order which i always do curbside pickup at other locations...this one still states curbside hours on the site and says it on the answering machine...so i then drove to the store; keep in mind im 8 months pregnant and have my toddler who fell asleep in the backseat only for them to tell me when i got there over the phone that they don't do curbside anymore. the manager ANGELINA literally told me they wouldn't come out to me even though it states on the phone their curbside hours. i even spoke with a GENERAL MANAGER they literally could care less ! i'll never ever use this location again and even thinking to switch to sephora ! what happened to customer service and customer is always right !? lol insane! read more

The only major difference between this store and Sephora is that there is a salon inside (no customers). Like Sephora, it is bright white inside. When we visited, there were very few customers (a handful). I went through the store to see if there was something else that caught my eye. I saw a beach wave styler by Bed Head at $35, in the hair tools section. I also wanted to see if there were Clean Beauty brands in the cosmetics department. I didn't see anything else. I was a little disappointed with the beauty brands, to be honest. My primary concern is skin care, in particular, Tatcha products, which I also purchase from QVC and Sephora. I had an awful experience with a stylist named Jayda at Ulta. I came in with long hair & unwanted split ends and I explained that I wanted to keep as much length as possible. Jayda agreed and even reassured me that she could "maneuver" the cut to maintain my desired length. She then ended up cutting way more than we discussed. she was way more focused on gossiping about her coworkers with others around her than on doing her job. It felt like she wasn't paying attention to what she was doing, and now I'm left with a haircut that's much shorter than I ever wanted and nothing like what we agreed on. Well .... I will never recommend the Saloon of this place for anyone, I had an appointment for a formal hair style on sep/25/2022 at 3:00pm . First they wasted my 2 hours, one person was working on three different people at the same time , she was styling my hair and highlighting the hair of a teen girl and in middle of work several times she left to provide the service for another person. Besides, she was in rush to pick up her sandwich from subway. When they had no time why they accept the guests. The hair of the teen girl who was there for a highlight was almost damaged because she didn't wash on time . When the work was done the front was looking so bad and I wanted to see the back of my hair but she left in rush to pick up her sandwich . I paid and came home as I was already late for the party . When I saw the bun at home and one part already fell off , such messy style , I washed my hair restyled and almost missed the party . Today I went back and asked them for a store credit or refund for the bad and poor service they had provided , they misbehaved, Is this how a professional business provide service for a customer and threat them . Horrible experience in the salon. Went in for a formal hair styling which is $100 and formal make up, another $100. The couldn't find my reservation, and finally found someone quick to do it. There was no one available for my makeup so they asked if the Mac artist was ok. The hairstylist took 2.5 hours to do a French twist. She took my hair up and down at least five times and by the time she was done my hair was a hard, hair sprayed disgusting mess. Im going to the ball so decided to just bite it and pay. My hair completely fell out in the car on the way home. This was the worst experience I've ever had getting my makeup and hair done and now feel hideous for the marine corps ball. I reviewed this place two years ago. When i started coming here. But, this place has changed for good. The staff is always attentive and makes the experience great. After all, buying make up, makes us feel happy and they do a great job at it. I haven't have any issues with them after the last time I reviewed them. I would totally recommend to check tj Maxx or Marshalls before coming here. I've got morphe brushes, anastasia eyeshadow palettes sometimes and even Mac lipstick they have high end makeup for lower prices. I have extremely mixed feelings about this place. Up until my hair service incident I absolutely loved this place but now will not be returning. All the staff was friendly and helpful but DO NOT go there for their hair services. I have had colored hair since I was 16.. always did it myself always came out nice... but on Dec 24, 2016 I decided to finally treat myself and have a professional do it for me. HUGE mistake. Although my hair stylist was really nice and had great customer service but would not recommend for bright hair color. I am completely disappointed. I came in for an ombre blue hair and came out with a patchy green mess. First, she did not hear me clearly on the type of cut I wanted. She cut too much ( my hair was to my butt and now above my breast) and was cut straight.. no layers like i wanted. Secondly, I was charged for a cut and style but my stylist was running late with her next appointment so she sent me on my way with wet hair. Thirdly,I left feeling great until my hair dried. I started to notice how patchy my color was and how much green and brown was left. Lastly, when I texted my stylist and sent her pictures she agreed to fix it for me because she is the one that made the mistake but last minute her management was making her charge me to come back in. It was just ridiculous. I contacted ULTA about it and said they would contact me but they never did. This is just a warning to future customers wanting to dye their hair there save your money and time. NOT WORTH IT!! read more

Worst Customer Service ever!! This location has the snobbiest workers, they judge you as soon as you walk in and that's where they decide if they want to help you or not. Went in there looking for a specific product. When I asked someone if they carried this product, she looked like I was bothering her and just looked at me up and down and told me where to go. She didn't even walk me to the product, all she said was "you'll find what you're looking for there" walked away. Rude, Rude, Rude!! No one bothered to stop and help as I was trying to call someone. They all just walked past me like I was some lowly peasant. How about getting some workers that care about customers, no matter how they walk in.
