Put up a sign to notify customers when your restrooms are out of order. That communicates to customers to save time and find another bathroom in another store. It also prevents your customers from feeling stupid for waiting for restrooms to free up. Even better, when customers enter the store and ask a staff member if they may use the restroom, have your staff reply back that restrooms are "out of order." Otherwise, when staff says, "yes," that implies restrooms are open. read more

Who doesn't love to be pampered? Well, Ulta has everything you need to take care of you. This location is fairly new. They used to be down a bit further in the shopping center, but since moving here they've added new products. It's fun to walk around the store and look at all of the different ways to make your happy a little happier. In the skincare area you'll see familiar names like Origins, but also Ulta brand products that offer great results for a little less than the brands. Hair care and makeup are probably their biggest sellers with rows upon rows of glamour and goop to help make you feel your best. The employees are all hard working and nice. Sometimes they'll have reps giving out free samples, which I love since it's always nice to try before you buy. There's plenty of parking and a user friendly entrance for all the needs. read more

Went in for a foundation sample & they don't do samples??? I've worked in 2 different bearetail stores and we always did samples. Strange but not a big deal you know. Anyway, there was a lady at the door when we walked in and we were not greeted. I was clearly looking at foundation and no one stopped to ask if I needed any help but they all walked past giggling with each other. I had to eventually swatch myself with shades. I went in to get a haircut & I wanted the sides feathered, showed a picture of exactly what I wanted & asked that the length of my hair to stay the same. The hairdresser told me she couldn't feather my hair unless it was shorter?? (I mean even Farrah Fawcett had long hair that was feathered) What this hairdresser did was cut my hair short, just below my ears and DID NOT feather the sides as requested even though I showed a PICTURE of what I wanted. She left my hair straight with no blow dry or styling and I was HORRIFIED when I saw my haircut. Could not believe this happened! I complained to the manager but what could she do, at this point I have to wait for my hair to grow back. Oh, and the hairdresser never even asked for my name. read more

I have been shopping at this Ulta location for years and have never felt the need to complain about customer service until recently. Over the past year, I've been coming into the store more frequently, and my last two visits have been uncomfortable. During Black Friday weekend, the associate who rang up my purchase was very rude and made it seem as though helping me was an inconvenience. Most recently, I returned to the store to purchase Christmas gifts. An associate who is usually very friendly interacted with me quite differently this time which was disappointing. The employee did call for assistance, and another associate stepped in and was very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable, recommending several items one of which I really liked. Unfortunately the travel size was not available in store. While this associate was checking in the back, another employee in the perfume section appeared to be pretending to tidy the area but was clearly watching me closely. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Although she attempted to make small talk it was obvious what her intention was and it negatively impacted my shopping experience. As a loyal customer who shops here regularly this treatment was disappointing and inappropriate. I hope management addresses these customer service concerns so future visits feel welcoming and respectful. read more

I booked a brow tint and wax online. When I got there, they did the brow wax and then they went to get the color for the tint and they told me they didn't have my color. I only go there for the tint, the wax is a bonus because I can pluck my eyebrows myself at home. They should've never allowed me to book the appointment, or they should've called me to tell me ahead of time they didn't have the full color line of tint, or at least tell me before doing the waxing that they didn't have the color. I asked for the manager and said I was not willing to pay for a service that I only got half of, and I would've never come to just get a wax. They did grant me the refund so that was positive. read more

Jorden provided stellar customer service to me today. I was able to exchange my Babyliss Pro Digital Straightener easily and quickly. She was wonderful, and while ringing up my body wash told me she would be able to exchange my straightener. I promptly went home quickly and returned with it and she exchanged it on the spot. Jorden is a wonderful example of top notch service, and her manager Blue was also extremely kind and helpful. Five stars to this Ulta location for helping me so quickly and diligently. This store is HORRIBLE at keeping their shelves stocked, and most of the time the few things on the shelves are used/ the seal has been broken so I won't buy them. Lip liners, lipsticks, even the bronzers they sell, the shelves are bare and if you're lucky to find a few leftover, the seals are all broken. I'm at my wits end with this store. For the last year, I haven't been able to get my Milani concealer because my shade is ALWAYS out of stock. There's always just 1 or 2 on the shelf with the seals broken. If someone were taking inventory and gave just an ounce of attention, they would see that in fact your store is out of stock because nobody is gonna buy the two packages with fingerprints all over them and a broken seal. Today I was hoping to purchase a Bobbi Brown blush but there was literally just 1 package left that had been opened and clearly used. During covid times (literally 5 years ago) this was easier to accept but at this point it's just ridiculous. IS NOBODY TAKING INVENTORY HERE? Stock your shelves!! Her work is just so perfect, impeccable, thoughtful and all around excellent. I love her attention to details and how kind and hardworking she is. She gives her absolute best, oh and the head massages too! From my past stylist, i told her that my head itches a lot after hair color, and she takes extra care and precaution to thoroughly wash my hair after root touch up. She's just so meticulous and listens to you. Overall she's so positive, and really listens to your needs. Highly recommend windy and ulta beauty! read more

I came in with black box dye in my hair .. yikes, but that didn't stop her from doing a wonderful job when bleaching the highlights, and making sure my hair was strong and healthy after! I have fairly sensitive skin and somehow Regina keeps redness and bumps to a minimum. The service itself is under $25 and the station is super clean. It's very frustrating to come into this store after so many terrible experiences with Ulta. But this was the worse. The short older Asian lady with the kitten heels decided she wants to follow me around the store fake pretending to help me, while other customers are left alone getting no help. She said there was a guy there to help color match I said no thank you, she kept pushing I said I'm okay. Then she stares me down walks away and then she sends him anyway. I step around just to go look at fragrance then she comes harassing me again, I said no thank you. She then decided to watch me from the corner of the store starring dead at me. Since that wasn't enough she gets in her ear peace then She encourages every other employees to follow me around just nonstop harassment, I felt like they were hovering over me like hawks. This is part of the reason why alot of stores are closing down. My review is the same as the others - customer service was mediocre. I came around 6pm and it wasn't too busy, but no one asked if I needed help. I eventually found someone and they pointed me in the direction of what I wanted.. The employees were not friendly when I walked up to the cash register and they worked slowly. They needed help with doing an exchange and had to call the manager over (white bald guy with glasses). He took his time coming over and didn't seem interested in trying to help me. I had bought some lashes online and when I received it in the mail, I realized they were a bit longer than in the pictures so I asked if I could exchange the lashes for the same exact brand with the same exact price - just different style. The manager claimed he was unable to do that...but I had done the same exact thing at a different Ulta with no problem (with the help of a regular employee). That shows that the workers don't know how to do their own job. The manager's attitude was distasteful and unwelcoming. No one cared for resolving the situation. I quickly just finished my business there and left. Next time I'll go to a different Ulta for help. read more

UPDATE* Yes, prices vary for hair cuts and hair coloring but blows outs are the SAME price for all stylists. For example when you click on a hair cut it shows a range of $72-$92. A blow out shows ONE price of $47. Like I already said I have had over a dozen blow outs and have NEVER been charged an alternative price. It's always one price as the website states. I have reached out to customer services multiple times with no call back. I'm very displeased with the lack of customer service at Ulta. read more

In line to purchase item, when it's my turn the girl just looks at me with this dead face says nothing. So I walk up say hi and give her item, no hi back. she ask for phone number I give it. Asks if I have an account I say no. Rings up purchase. Does not tell me the amount. I see amount on register so I say the amount to her. She says yes. I give her exact change. She asks me how I want receipt. I choose print. She gives me receipt. I say thank you so much have a great day she does not look at me or respond. This whole transaction her face was dead no expression and acted like a b**ch. I have never experienced anything like this anywhere and I rarely write reviews but this blew me away how she acted. I see this guy all the time at the store and he does say "do you need help?" To customers all the time, but when I did need help, he was helpless and unprofessional. The Store is well equipped and maintained having almost everything that you would need from skin care products, make up, perfumes, accessories, all different varieties of gift ideas and it just has everything. I have taken both my daughters here for their very first eye brow appointment to their hair up do and make up for Homecoming and we are very pleased. The make up artist Maribel and hair stylist Brodi we're both very talented and creative and made my daughter so happy and satisfied with the results.
