    Organic Tofu Greens Bowl
    Crystal W.

If I were to have a checklist of the meal I'd want to marry, this checked off my boxes. vegan gluten free healthy delicious I cannot praise how much this hit the spot. Fresh ingredients and quickly made. Ordered the organic Tofu Greens Bowl, added tofu, with an extra garlic sesame soy sauce dressing. I would order from their Oakland location when I worked in the bay and ecstatically floored they're in my hood. Service the same from the Bay to Sac. Fresh ingredients, gluten free, vegan options.

Receipt but they didn't put any chicken although I added pork. Got pork only

Overall I would give them 4 stars my food was fresh, it was quick and timely. The pork was flavorful, enough salad to cover a few additional meals, if necessary. However, I will not give them a four because I added pork, which was an extra charge and then there was absolutely no chicken on my meal. I have the garlic key, lemon or something sauce. It was tangy and they gave you plenty. I'd probably try the spicy sauce next time. This is a pick up spot so you order your food and basically pick it up out of a locker. You don't actually get service from any particular person. We went inside and ordered at the kiosk, then went and sat back in the car. There are some CD individuals walking by but other than that I think with a lot of redevelopment things may get better and maybe they'll stay open later. There is no ambiance as you're just picking up your food from a locker. If I wanted something really healthy to eat that was tasty I would definitely go back again.

Protein Lover Rice & Cabbage Bowl

I loved the protein lover rice bowl! I loved the mixture of different protein and all the veggies and love forbidden rice, it's my favorite rice! Lots of food and yummy dressing! I also order green smoothie too.... I will definitely order from here again!

4/5 Stars - Food was GREAT but because this is takeout only I'm giving the restaurant 1 less star. I suggest you try it. I ordered the wagyu rice bowl with the garlic sesame soy sauce. 5/5 Unfortunately take out will never be 100% fresh by the time you bite into it, but the meat was flavorful and tender. The rice was well cooked and filling and the added veggies made this dish taste and feel fresh. The garlic sesame sauce tasted like a sesame paste with soy sauce added. The sauce was good and they give a decent portion but I'll try another next time. I prefer a sit down restaurant with a comfortable, trendy atmosphere where you know the food is fresh to the table. So -1 star purely based on the fact that it is takeout only.

Oh I'm a big fan of this place. It may become a problem. Was looking for something high in protein, and tasty, and this place did not disappoint. Super yummy blend of meats, veggies, and rice and definitely enough for more than one meal. Can't speak to service or ambience since this was a door dash situation. Good luck to this new business I'm sure you will do well!!

Once that bill was paid and that 30% cash tip was taken from our table, we did not hear from our server AGAIN. We had extra patè and ordered more donut bread for it and didn't get it until we had asked at least twice, if not three times, and by that time we were pretty much done with dinner. You pick your choice of protein, broth, and vegetables. I went with the spicy tonkotsu broth, pork belly, and broccoli. Adequate portion sizes for $20, and the myriad of different toppings makes for a pretty appearance. My approval starts to hit a roadblock when it comes to taste and texture. The pork belly tasted dry. Soaking it in the broth didn't help much. Additionally, the broth was decent but I expected more flavor. It tasted like a watered down version of an original, harder-hitting batch of broth. I wouldn't have minded a creamier consistency either. Creative selection, sub-par execution. With Origami's large menu and close proximity to my workplace, I imagine I might stumble back here eventually. I'm willing to give their non-ramen options a try.

We started with the Soft Shell Crab served with lettuce, herbs, and a tangy vinaigrette. It was very delicious and perfectly crunchy, although the portion was quite small. The Fried Chicken Dumplings were also very good, and the dipping sauce paired perfectly with them. The Saigon Alley Wings were equally delicious -- crispy, flavorful, and definitely one of the highlights. The Dynamite Scallops tasted amazing as well, but again, the portion was very small, so I'd recommend ordering more than one if sharing. The Fried Shrimp tossed in salt and pepper with jalapeños was nicely balanced and not overly salty. The Fried Calamari with cilantro aioli was cooked perfectly -- tender and not rubbery at all. For the mains, the Charbroiled Pork Chops and Short Ribs topped with scallion oil, shallots, and fish sauce vinaigrette were wonderfully flavorful, and the meat was tender. We also tried the Garlic Noodles, which were decent, although I've had better garlic noodles at other restaurants, and they arrived a little cold. The Garlic String Beans sautéed in garlic butter sauce with chili flakes were surprisingly one of my favorites -- crunchy, garlicky, and absolutely delicious. I also loved the Thai Tea because it wasn't overly sweet. For dessert, we tried the sesame balls with condensed milk, which we enjoyed, although it was the only dessert option on the menu. Overall, the food was flavorful and well-prepared, but the portions definitely lean on the smaller side. Ratings:* Ambience: 4/5* Food: 3.5/5* Service: 3/5 -- mainly because it took about 30 minutes to receive the bill. Still worth trying if you enjoy flavorful Vietnamese fusion dishes and don't mind smaller portions.

The texture was more like Vietnamese broken rice, and it caught me off guard because when I tried their sushi a while ago, they used very high-quality rice. As is typical with sukiyaki, the broth becomes very flavorful at the end, absorbing all the flavors from high-quality ingredients, but my udon got a little dry while waiting. And what a relief that is as I have trouble finding sushi that's even vegetarian around here these days. Yes, Village of OM is on the expensive side, and yes, it is worth it. I would def come here on date but both times I've visited so far have been with friends. On my last visit I was treated to a delicious birthday dinner, complete with complimentary raspberry sorbet and cream dessert with sparkler on top. I do not remember the last time someone told the server it was my birthday and I got a little something, what a nice treat. :-) Some of my favorite items on the menu: Chef's Choice Nigiri: may include eggplant, trumpet mushroom, oshi salmon roll (Sooooo tasty. This one also has tempura trumpet mushroom, green onion, avocado, and spicy orange sauce. Their cocktail menu is really cool, too. Sorted by each of the four elements. My recommendations are the Paper Crane, Air (Vodka Lychee), and Ocean Vibes. I want to try their Old Fashioned but it has my kryptonite in it (star anise) so I'll have to ask for a modification. Something I've no doubt they would do. No fear, they've also salads (including tea leaf and curry), small bites, and noodle dishes on the menu if you aren't in the mood for sushi.
