The salmon was cooked very nicely so that it wasn't dry, and I loved the miso glaze that they put on top. It added a very nice sweetness to the salmon and created a very nice char. It was pretty small portion size though. The salmon avocado maki was solid too. It was the most filling! You get 5 pieces :) The tuna crispy rice was just alright. The rice part was good, but there was a bit too much mayo in the tuna. The miso soup that came complimentary with it was good too! I like how generous they were with the seaweed. Such a nice vibe inside! It's definitely a nicer spot, but still casual enough for lunch. I wanna come back for dinner! Service was quick and server was kind.

the customer service is awful. i was treated like dirt there. not only do the workers speak barely any English, but when asked to speak to a manager and owner when THEY made a mistake (bc of their lack of understanding English )with our order my table got yelled at, by the owner! his name is kevin guo. i have never in my life been so rude to by an OWNER of a business it was pretty mind blowing. not only did we get over charged, for food we didn't even order, but the manager/ owner was not even listening to his customers,us. he was just yelling at us to pay and called us "cheaters" bottom line.. the food was decent, but the customer service is horrendous. there are definitely better sushi places near by for the same price, where you actually feel welcomed into the business and your business is appreciated. not like here! p.s. make sure you check your receipt! they like to secretly sneak in extra charges!!! read more

I heard about this place from a friend and decided to give it a try! I have to say that my experience was so-so. I love sushi and I love trying new places, but this place was not that great. They have a special where you pay around $20 for all you can eat. I thought this was strange for a sushi place, but it was a good deal. The sushi rolls were nothing special, most of them had crab or shrimp, which personally I don't consider true sushi. Also, what you don't finish they charge you extra! I left about 5 pieces on my plate, that I just couldn't finish. The server sees this and then comes back with some "manager" to inspect how much sushi I didn't eat, and lets me know I will be charged extra. It was the most uncomfortable and awkward experience I've ever had at a restaurant. I definitely will not be returning there. I felt as if I was in trouble for not finishing my food. read more

Literally here now and having the worst time, the gyoza is awful, the server completely forgot about our water and miso soup the place is half empty and everything is taking forever. Utterly ridiculous. The kids and I ordered off of the menu and my husband ordered the everything you can eat special and they "charge you" if you have any left over pieces lol so here we are trying to help him finish a few pieces and they come over and tell us that they will let it go this time but next time they will have to charge us all the lunch price and that they have cameras so they can watch us. Really, don't worry we won't be back. The food was not worth it, go somewhere else. If I could give them zero stars, I would. read more

Let me start out by saying that I have frequented this place at least 30 times (my friends enjoy cheap sushi, what can I say), and until now I'd have given it maybe 3 stars. When I went in this last time though, it was such a bad experience that I'll never go back again! The plates and tables had food stuck on them. Overall, the cleanliness of this place is sub par. Plus, my party left a few piece of half eaten rice on our plates and the owner tried to charge me $20! She said I could go somewhere else if I didn't like it and that she was going to call the police on me for SHOPLIFTING if I didn't pay the fee. Never again! i was there last night and while waiting for my appetizers with my family i was reading the review. about this girl whos just insulting the place and the server (rizza), so i was scared and wanted to transfer seats not in her section but my family said well give it a try. well all i can say is that she is so sweet and her service is perfect.!! i will be comming back soon and look ask to be seated on her section. btw she looks cute too she keeps on laughing with us. dont believe in some other reviews people put in here, they couldve complain to the owner since they are there already and can do something about it not in yelp. read more

Came here for dinner with group of friends on Sunday evening, we ve had horrible experience , the front desk person was rude, and give us an attitude when we asked for table for 6. She stated that they don't have a room for six ???!!!!! some how after talking to some other front desk person we finally got a table. The food was OK, but nothing spectacular just OK.... Man this place is 3 minutes from my house but I agree with the yelper that bitched about them refusing to make the hand rolls! C'mon sushi joints! What is the big dam deal with hand rolls???? Its half the work to take a piece of seaweed paper, slap on some rice and spicy tuna and make a cone!!!!!! This place is super dirty! Plates had food still on them! I had to ask the waitress multiple times for water when there were only 5 parties in the restaurant. Then when the lunch rush came, there were only 2 waiters for the entire place. Sitting, or should I say LAYING at a table were a group of waiters/sushi chefs SLEEPING. Their faces/hair directly on the table. Makes sense as to why the tables felt and looked the way they did. Super disappointing! read more

The plates were dirty and covered in food particles. The floors were sticky and waiters just walked over spills. Someone was in the woman's washroom, and when it became available a male sushi chef came out. Then it happened again with a different sushi chef! When I first came to this restaurant, I was a bit hesitate to come. I'm a big sushi fan, but I don't trust all places. I right away fell in love with this place. The service is amazing. Most of this time I didn't have to wait to be seated, or if I had to wait it was for a short amount of time. The food here is also amazing. It has an amazing flavor and is well made. Very fast service. Drinks arrived within 2 min. Appetizers in 10 min, Rolls in 15 min and the place was full with customers. All you can eat for $20 only. This would have been her first hibachi experience, and instead it was ruined by poor customer service and what appeared to be unfair treatment.
