My first time coming and I really REALLY wanted to like this place bc the ladies that helped me were really nice. HOWEVER, it was a disappointment for what I had paid. I got a mani-pedi and I decided to do gel on my pedi because it always lasts longer but my mani I did normal since the gel always got weird for me after. I had Cherry do my regular mani and Kim do my gel pedi. Kim's work was spectacular! honestly I would give HER a 5/5. She really focused on my nails despite us chatting away. She got rid of all my dead skin and my feet look super cute. I would come back just FOR HER only. She only started chatting AFTER she finished my pedi to make sure she focused on the service which now I truly appreciate. My manicure on the other hand was a complete disaster by Cherry. We related a lot because we spoke the same language and honestly she reminded me of an aunt. I didn't even realize HOW bad it was until I got into my car and I already had to leave. I did notice that she didn't spend a lot of time on my hands and she didn't do an extra layer of polish like most other techs to make my nails even looking. It also hurt when she was working on me as well. You can still see streaks of regular nail on them and the paint job was just bad. I understand its regular mani but I've never had it look like this before. I got my mani on Friday 8/8 and today is tuesday 8/12 the paint already chipped and my fingers look damaged. I paid roughly $80 since I had to tip both of them, and it was definitely not worth that price. I wanted to be a long time customer but after looking at my hands, I don't want to come back. For her its definitely a 1/5. Yeah, we talked but I think she slacked off bc she assumed I wouldn't say anything or complain. I made an appointment yesterday and am glad I did. I usually work past 5 and it is normally so hard to find a place that can take appointments past 5:30/6 - especially the weekend before Valentine's Day. I called around to several places before trying this one and none of them had time or if they did, they didn't seem to care about whether I made an appointment - giving me the impression they told everyone to "just come in" and then you get there and you're waiting for hours because they had too many walk-ins at once. Not so with this place. I called, was greeted by Cindy, who is very nice and was accommodating despite my need to come in late. (I was the last one out, but she still took great care with my nails.) I appreciate that she didn't rush through the customer before me and didn't rush through mine. She has 20 years experience and you can tell she is careful with her work. On to the nails... this was my first full set that I've ever gotten (well, since that one time for prom), and I am impressed with how good they look. I also asked for something I've never done before, a pink and white ombre, so that came out really nice as well. Dan did my toenails and they came out a beautiful white. No complaints at all. I got my nails done a week ago on Saturday. That morning I called to make an appointment and the owner just said to come in since it's morning. She rushed my under arm waxing and left a good amount of stray hair that I had to pluck myself. As for my nails, I did not get what I had asked for AT ALL. I showed her a picture of almond shaped nails with black French tips twice and what I got was pill-shaped nails with a pink and white ombré. Some of the nails were also crooked. Inothing like I had asked and I can tell she was rushing through it cause her work during the shaping stage was sloppy. I came here looking for something affordable and wasn't disappointed. I was greeted nicely, and sat down promptly. I would recommend making an appointment. When I sat down for my pedicure I was given a menu that and she asked what kind of pedicure I would like, I chose basic pedicure with $10 15 minute massage. The girls here were very nice and I didn't feel rushed, As of July 2021, I paid $60 for a gel mani, regular pedicure, design and 15 minute massage. Found this nail salon around my area and decided to give it a try. I called in and Cindy was so delightful, fit me in an appointment immediately. I love how Cindy really listens to what I want and does every step carefully. I told her my nails are very brittle so she laid a layer of acrylic and applied gel on top. Friendly staff, walk ins were welcome. I didn't see that the tools came in sanitized packaging. Instead, my technician cleaned the tools off with rubbing alcohol in front of me. The massage chairs were a huge plus! My nail technician did a wonderful job cleaning my nails and massaging my feet/ legs. Pretty bummed that management changed. I really miss LeAnn. She always did my eyebrows perfect! I went yesterday to get my eyebrows done and I still continued to go even after she left and I'm disappointed. My eyebrows look so off, a completely new employee worked on my eyebrows and she didn't even pluck them after waxing them, they look so off and so undone it really makes me mad. Browsed yelp for a nearby last minute Nail Salon. Found Perfection #3 and the salon was available to take in 2 clients that needed a Gel Pedicures. I think the management is new, not too sure but the owner is very nice. My gf and I went in at Noon and there was 1 client getting a pedi. Looks like the workers are Husband, Wife and Mother/in law. They had plenty of gel colors in a book to look at, there isn't pexi glass hanging but they did have like a portable one they made with a stand, which is quite convenient to move around. Our gel pedicures came out good and my last minute gel manicure came out good as well. Hopefully it will last for about 2 weeks. I got the full pedicure + callous "removal" and sugar scrub (regular nail polish) and a manicure (regular nail polish). I am giving them an additional star because the lady that helped me do my pedicure put so much effort into the polish section. To start off, the upgrades for the pedicure are a scam. The callous scrub really doesn't do anything but make your feet rougher than before (I have tons of small dried pieces of skin just sticking out and now they feel like sandpaper). The sugar scrub also doesn't do anything, so please don't fall for the upgrades. I don't know who in this review section said that they don't try to upsell people, but that is SUCH a lie. Cindy, the greeter and likely the owner, came around 3 times as I was getting my pedicure to try and upsell the manicure and then the gel nails. I finally caved after some thought because I figured I might as well go all out with pampering myself. It's a shame that they try to rush the services though. A young lady came and tried to do my nails while standing (and I understand that they probably don't want to hold the customer up, but subpart service and products are NOT the way to go). I had to pause my massage chair so that my hands wouldn't shake too much while she was filing and shaping. Just as a reminder, I got the regular nail polish service. I don't know why she filed the surface of my nail like she was preparing for a gel set. I've been to quite a few other nail salons and they have never filed the nail surface before (basically, your natural nails are scrapped and look (and feel) super ugly without any polish). The nail polish job was terrible. You can clearly see the two different layers of the polish. Then, I watched as she left something in one of my nails (and hesitate on whether or not she should redo it, but she decided against it). You'll see this on my right ring finger where I scrapped it off because of the bump. She also used acetone to clean up the edges of the nails but didn't put any moisturizer on after or wash it off so the edges of my nails were super dry. You can see how much the acetone dried out the skin around the nail in the pictures below. Last but not least, the nail polish smelled disgusting. It was just an overwhelming chemical smell and I could NOT deal with (especially with such subpart nail polish) that I took it off 12 hours after. All in all, please be aware of the upselling if you do decide to go. There's no updated menu price so I will include a picture of that. Don't fall for the pedicure upgrades because they only make things worse. And if you want to get both your hands and feet done, ask for your nails to be done AFTER your pedicure, trust me. ** I forgot to mention that I don't think they're really taking proper COVID-19 precautions. There were "X" tapes marking the seats so customers don't sit too close to one another but they ended up ignoring it and had people sitting next to each other (less than 6 feet) anyway. When they do your manicure while you get your pedicure, they also stand very close to you (which makes sense since they're doing your fingernails), but if you're worried, I'm just putting it out there so you go prepared. read more
