I've been a loyal customer for many years, spent a lot of money and ALWAYS tipped the girls very well, but the recent decline in attitude, service and high prices has been apparent for a long time now. It finally came to a head when "Ben", the "owner" completely flipped out on multiple customers, including myself. He was insulting, combative and extremely rude!!! It was very busy and he couldn't deal with the pressure. It took everything in me not to go ballistic on him, but towards the end he realized he was out of line and seemed to feel some kind of remorse for his behavior and babbled on about what a hard day he had, the tough customers and how busy it was. Ben, if you can't handle the high level of business pressure, this may not be the field to be in. You should be grateful to have ANY customers after your embarrassing conduct. I came to this nail spa because my nail lady is 40 minutes away and I had broke a nail. When I arrived, I asked the owner, which is the gentleman in the front how much it would cost, and he ignored my question and took me to the back and sat me down. They spoke their language for a while and then they had a man come and when I told him it was a Gel X nail ... they spoke their language again and then told me to wait that someone else would come . The lady replaced my nail she was nice. But when I went to pay, I expected maybe a 5 to 7 dollar fee and they charged me $10 for 1 gel x nail nude. I was shocked.is this normal? I think that's why the man didn't answer my question. And my dumb self was in a hurry so I didn't repeat the question.. At the end when she gave me the price I told her that had I known they were going to charge me $10. I would've not got it replaced there. I feel like I got scammed because the man purposely did not answer my question. I can't believe how happy I am to have finally found the best nail tech. If I could give 10 stars I would! Not only was Michelle sweet and professional, my nails look absolutely perfect. Everything was exactly as she said it would be. My nails are shaped just as I like. There is no nail polish where it should not be. All the implements she used were clean. She gave me the best massage. The massage chair worked well. The salon was nice and quiet. She offered me water, coffee, wine, or iced tea. I chose the iced tea and it was so delicious! I was in the area and figured I'd try a new place. Things that I like, place is huge with relaxing atmosphere. My nails look great and the two techs did a good job. Things I don't like. I feel the price is on the higher side but I think you're paying for atmosphere. I felt my service was so extremely slow. I noticed that in the middle of handling my nails one tech would talk to another, which is typically fine, but they would take a break and chat for a minute before getting back to my nails. And lastly the upset over tips. I typically pay cash at nail salons, but I understand estimated the price and was forced to pay with other means. They requested Zelle, which was fine, but said their tip needed to be in cash. I was already planning on tipping with cash but I just don't appreciate that they got upset that I didn't have cash. Bella Vous is undeniably beautiful, and you'd expect the customer service to reflect that. Unfortunately, after several visits, my experience has only declined. Each time I returned, I hoped things would improve--but my last two visits were the worst by far. During one visit, my pedicure chipped after only four days. I didn't have time to return, so I took a photo and shared it with the man at the front desk (who I believe is the owner). Instead of listening, he dismissed my concern, insisting it must have been longer than that. He told me, "We don't guarantee regular polish pedicures" and suggested I should pay for gel next time. I explained again that it had only been four days, but he remained dismissive. On my most recent visit, the technician rushed through the service. My feet didn't feel pampered, the polish job was sloppy, and I was rushed out the door because she was eager to leave. Unsurprisingly, the polish was damaged almost immediately. I returned to have one toe fixed, expecting it to be a simple solution. Instead, the polish didn't match, and when I pointed it out, the man at the desk told me I would have to pay if I wanted it corrected. When I asked to simply find the right shade, he became argumentative, raised his voice at me, and even yelled at his staff when they tried to help. He told me to leave and not come back. It was humiliating and completely unprofessional. Thankfully, one kind technician stood up to him and repolished my toes properly, but the overall experience left me shocked. For such a beautiful salon, the level of customer service is unacceptable. read more

I had some time to myself and was long over due for a pedicure. I came here on recommendation from my mom who had gone just a week before. First and foremost don't be deceived by the facade of the store -- it looks small but is actually rather large, housing quite a number of massage chairs for spa pedicures. What's more is the day I went, it was emmmpty save for a couple of customers in addition to myself. What I really appreciated is that unlike some salons these days, they still have actual bottles of nail polish from which to choose your color. In addition they honor COVID safety protocols by ensuring that you have plexi-glass shields (that hang from the ceiling) giving you security without feeling claustrophobic. My service included the gel to get rid of callous -- a dream, and a regular spa pedicure. If nails could glow, mine did!! The technician did a great job of clearing my cuticles, gave me a good leg massage, and took her time and care to paint my nails. I will definitely return to this salon. Being a new customer, I appreciated the grace the owner gave me for not having cash on hand to provide a tip. Word to the wise, bring cash for tips. read more

Although when it comes to designs they aren't the best, for the price you pay it's alright but if you're expecting something nice as in cute grad nails or prom nails I suggest somewhere else. I'm a very indecisive person so I just tell her the colors/concepts I want and she freestyles them, and they always come out great. Everyone in the salon is so kind and makes you feel welcome, and I always appreciate Tuan's help with scheduling my next appointment. Appointment- I have a busy schedule so what i love about them is that i can usually call within the 1-2 hours to see i they are available. Their location is huge and have plenty of chairs for manis and pedis. Price- Average. I usually get pedicures here and i really enjoy getting the $60 dollar option because they do EVERYTHING!!! It includes gel, massage, scrub, callous remover, hot stone, mask, and a few other things. they have more economic options too. I don't complain about businesses, unless I want to make others aware of something that is not right. I went to Bella Vous Nail Spa on Azusa. It was my first time there. First off, I have to say that the lady did a very good job on my pedicure, but what I didn't like is what happened when I paid. I took some stuffed bills out of my pocket to pay for the services and for the tip. I had a mix of $20's, a $10, some $5's, and $1's. They were not in any order. After I paid at the counter, I was walking over to give the lady a tip but she was coming my way already. I was looking through my bunched up bills and without waiting for me to give it to her, she snatched a few out of my hand and walked away! As she walked away, she made a comment that I didn't understand. I can only assume she was thinking I was not going to give her a good tip, so she just snatched some money out of my hand. I don't even know how much she snatched as some of the money was bundled. I didn't say anything. I just walked out wondering what had just happened. It's still bothering me. It's one of those things where I think, " I should've said this or done that." I was going to call to speak to the owner, but I don't even know her name. I am also wondering how much she ended up taking from me for her tip. Customers beware. I hope others have had or will have a better experience. As for me, I won't be going back. read more

Place is really clean and nice. Looks high end and all. But the spa pedicure @ $25 is definitely not worth it. The lady that did my pedicure is nice but a $12 yr old could've done it better. Its like a half-a** cleaning! The scrub literally just spread sugar scrub on your legs and rinse. No foot massage. The polish has a rough finish coz she didnt even buffed the nails to smoothen it. I came here for the first time as it is located near my hair salon. I decided to take off my gel polish to let my nails breathe for a bit and although I didn't have an appt, they were nice enough to take me in but importantly, they didn't rush me through the gel removal as other salons have done with me in the last! Joanne took her time and actually removed the gel polish gently without damaging my nail beds and leaving any leftover residue on my nails. Wow Blella Vouis Nail Spa is one of the most luxurious and clean Asian nail salons I've ever been in. The decor and design of the place makes me feel like ROYALTY! Often times I find myself in a cramped and dusty salon, but NOT HERE! They were absolutely welcoming and they give complementary beverages! (Yay!) My favorite is the Iced Tea! This location does have Gel and powder colors so there's lots to choose from making this the best go-to for all purpose nails! Their best work is the Acrylics, Beautiful, long, acrylics! I'm done coming to Bella Vous. It is a nice salon, but unfortunately after my last few visits I have left very disappointed. My most recent visit I wanted a powder manicure. Assuming they know what they're doing I chose my power color (light purple). Well as I was almost done, the clear powder was showing through the purple. This is after 2 hours! They had to do the whole process one more time which caused the color I wanted to become a daaaaark purple. After 2 1/2 hours, I got sloppy nails, no lotion massage and no discount. When she asked the guy in charge to fix the mistake he refused to. Instead he wanted to do an sloppy job. When she confronted him, he asked me to comeback next day stating he didn't have time. Although she explained to him several times that she couldn't comeback the next because she was going to be traveling, he refused to and stated that he was not going to fix it anymore.
