I was a little sad to see the price increase. I used to pay no more than $55 for a full set, and this time it was $70 for very basic nails. I truly loved this place because it fit my budget, but sadly it doesn't anymore.

This was my first time visiting Top Nails. I was lucky enough to have Amy do my nails! She did an amazing job. I will say the pedicure was less than awesome. I hadn't had a pedicure in almost 2 years so maybe things have changed. The tech did not file my nails nor did she cut my cuticles. They really don't look awesome. I'll definitely go back for my nails but would go elsewhere for a pedicure.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT HERE AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND !! I have been going to Ann for over 10 years ! Tiffany is my backup when Ann is very busy (because she is soo good and at high demand by customers) Lisa is my favorite pedicure technician but I do love the way they ALL do my toes i'm very picky with beauty services as well as everything and i've let each pedicure technician here do my toes and i absolutely trust and am comfortable going to any of them I recommend people here everywhere i go all the time. I will never go anywhere else. All of my friends and family come here now. 10/10

I've been coming to this nail salon for over 5 years, and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. I always get both a manicure and pedicure, and I leave happy every single time. While there can occasionally be a bit of a wait, I usually call ahead and try to be flexible with their schedule -- totally worth it. The quality and care they put into their work keeps me coming back. Thank you all for always taking such great care of me!

I have been searching for a good nail place that is not super expensive with little success. Most places have very low quality, I am often cut and my gel nail last only a week or less. So, when I read the reviews for Top Nails and Spa and decided to give it a try for a manicure. I did not make an appointment in advance, but I called to see if there was availability and was told I did not need to schedule an appointment since they were available at the time. I was also told they do not take appointments, and I found that a little strange. Once I arrive, minutes later, I was surprised to see the salon was packed full and there were several people awaiting their turn. Again I asked how long was the wait and was told it would be about minutes. I sat down and waited for half an hour and there were at least three ladies waiting ahead of me. I did not have the time to wait for much longer so I asked again how much longer would I have to wait. At that point I was told to sit down at one of the manicure stations. I waited there for another 10 minutes. Not happy. Finally, one of the nail technicians came over and started working on my nails. I was very happy since she did not cut me at all. The nails looked shinny and slightly thicker than most other nail salons, which I loved. Kim, my technician was pleasant and very skilled. I asked her if it was possible to schedule an appointment in advance and request her services. She said I could. So, I am not sure who was telling the truth, but I will give it another try next week when it is time to schedule my next manicure. Something else to note is that their menu, which I took at photo off, indicates that a gel manicure is $25, whoever, I was charged $30, for a single color, no frills, nothing extra manicure. The work was good, so I didn't complain about it, but I don't believe it is right to advertise a price and change a different one. All together I would give Top Nails and Spa a 3.5 due to the communication issues, but would give them a 4.0 based on quality. So far it has been 1.5 weeks since my manicure and my nails are still shiny and nice, so this is definitely a place to try at least for the second time.

Came in in late evening, looking for a pedicure. Everything else was pretty much closed, but they were still open. That alone was impressive to me as most nail shops are closed really early. Friendly service did not make me feel like I was running them too late! They took me right in and got to work on my toes. I don't get this done very often. It makes me nervous, but I wanted to treat myself to something. I am happy. I stopped here. The pricing was the same as most with options vary from $25 up The vibe here was very good, it was clean and well kept. They had a man in the shop cleaning as people got out of the chairs. They took care of all the things that they take care of on my toenails, trim, cut out the corners, remove any hard spots on my feet. Also, it came with hot stones and a massage. I was very well pleased. I highly suggest this place for your pedicures. Also, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say their nails service is excellent as well as I saw the product coming out the door and everyone in there seemed pleased! read more

It used to be my go to , unfortunately these past visits have been bad . Lisa and Nancy are great! The pretty lady that dresses nice is too snobby for me . She does what she wants, doesn't listen . I hate seeing when people snap at these ladies on social media . But today was the day I should have , what I did do was NOT tip her . That's not like me but she needs to know her work isn't good , her laughing when I suggested she washed her hands -because of all the dust from filing . Now my nails have bubbles and she doesn't like it when you mention a flaw in her work. So I'll take my business elsewhere, they might not miss it but I don't need to leave the place upset. It's suppose to be a nice evening of pampering and relaxing not pissing me off and making me want to yell at the top of my lungs because I've been soo nice and patient . Service and quality have deff done down. Pedis are rushed , they sit you to get a pedi while another tech has you twisted like a pretzel doing your mani. read more

Was not impressed. Nail tech kept cutting my cuticles. I can see once or twice but 5 times ..what the hell! Then she was going to use a file that was already used. Thats is how nail fungus travels...that is so unsanitary. I told her I wanted a brand new one so she got a new one out. Her thumb nails were dirty..not sure if it was from polish from the previous customers...but i was a bit grossed out.. I realized after i sat in her seat that, after she finished with another client that she didnt even wash her hands. Ewww i better not end up with some sort of nasty infection. This place is unsanitary and has filthy practices. Never going back. She was nice older lady but not worth catching something. $40 for fill. read more

I came in for a basic pedicure and showed a picture to explain the color I wanted. Unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding I believe due to a language barrier and the technician thought I wanted acrylic added to my toenails, which I did not ask for. I was surprised when I was charged for the extra service that I didn't agree to. I tried to explain the mistake, but it was difficult to communicate. I understand miscommunications happen, especially when there's a language difference, but I don't think it was fair to be charged for something I didn't want or authorize. Please be careful and make sure you confirm the services before they begin. read more

We were in a time crunch so my daughter and I visited this salon as it was nearby and opened early. My pedicure was satisfactory, although the technician dropped my foot scrubber on the floor and reused it without rinsing (eeek!). However, my daughter (a young adult) had a frustrating experience. The nail tech repeatedly pushed services she didn't want: she wanted short nails, lady did not want to cut short. She wanted regular powder, lady said no pink powder, lastly my daughter wanted regular polish and the lady insisted on gel. I had to intervene multiple times as my daughter was visibly stressed. Overall, due to these issues, we won't be returning. read more

Always clean friendly location! Nail techs are very professional and it's perfect therapy time while getting pampered. My nail broke so I called and without me asking first I was asked to come in as soon as possible and they will fix it. Luckily I was nearby and I stopped by. They took me in as soon as I walked in, fixed it and I was on my way. read more

Jenny is the best! She did an amazing job. She's such a sweetheart. This was my first visit to Top Nails. I was able to quickly determine that they are quite busy and booking an appointment it's probably you're best bet yo avoid waiting too long. Unless, you don't mind and that's your thing. I had an old set of nails from a previous shop and she was able to remove them quickly and efficiently. I showed her the nail style I wanted and she delivered! I believe the pictures speak for themselves--what I asked for is not what I got. I was debating whether or not to leave this review, but I feel it's important to share my experience, as I won't be returning to this salon. I don't know if the technician was in a rush, but it certainly looks like it. The result is honestly shocking; I have no words to describe how disappointed I am. These are the most unattractive nails I've ever had. The work looks rushed and extremely tacky. I've usually liked this place in the past, but lately, it's really been hit or miss, and this time was a definite miss. read more

You get what you pay for. I went here because the prices are lower than most places I have been to. However, they do a very poor job. The chairs don't all work when getting a pedicure. So it's unfair that some people can get a chair massage and some can't because the chair is broken. The girl that did my pedicure scrubbed my feet for like 4 seconds and that's supposed to remove my calusus? She was very quick and didn't take her time. The nail tech doing my full set acrylic nails did them all crooked, some were different lengths and not filed down enough. Again, very rushed and didn't take her time to notice that the nails were not even or done properly. I will never go there again and will let anyone I know how terrible this place is. So disappointed. read more

I never had a bad experience here. I always go to Ann and she is fast and she always does exactly like the picture or BETTER. She gives her suggestions that I can change up about the set I may want but no matter what my nails always came out so GOOD ! And always last me. She rounded the edges a little bit so they aren't too sharp cause of my son they came out so bomb such a vibe. read more

If you opt for the combination you get placed in the front area with the privacy curtain so they can soak your feet. The private rooms in the back are for body massages only. When they texted me about a Mother's Day special a few weeks ago with a special code for a 1 hr massage at $59, I booked a 1 hr body massage online. However the code took off just $31 from the $100 original price, so the total was $69 - which is $10 more than the $59 advertised. When I called the spa about it, they explained that it's only max $31 off - even though it did not say that anywhere in the text or online booking site. When I told them that it's misleading, they still would not budge and honor the $59 price. Well I got a new text today with basically the same language - claiming any 1 hour massage is $59 with the same code. Out of curiosity, I checked online and tried all 3 massage types as they are all different prices. Only the FOOT massage is $59 with the discount, since it's still only taking $31 off the original price of $90. For BODY, it did the same thing as last time - only taking $31 off from $100 so it's $69. For the COMBO, it's $64 since it took $31 off $95. Even though I advised them to change the wording on their marketing texts and emails, they did it again which is why I'm posting for others to be aware.

Now the bad: The price for a massage is reasonable, but you must pay an additional 39.00 if you want a to use their lockers or robe, take a shower or use the jacuzzi. This was unexpected and confusing. Before arriving, I had called for clarification of this policy and was only told that they would charge 39.00 for use of the jacuzzi. I had no idea that I wouldn't be given a robe or allowed to shower without paying the extra fee. I'm in a spa club and I have never run into this issue before. This confusion may have been due to a language barrier. The shower area has a sign saying that you must run the hot water for 10-15 minutes to obtain hot water (!). I did so and still had to take a cold shower because the water never got hot. The only towels available are very small and very thin. They are not large enough to wrap around your body. The jacuzzi area shows deferred maintenance with broken tile, missing robe hooks and mold/mildew on the ceiling between the jacuzzi and the showers (ick). I mentioned possible recent sun exposure, and the nurse appropriately advised that we should wait for safety reasons. However, I was then told this would be considered a cancellation and that I would either forfeit my session or pay a $50 fee to keep it. That is completely unreasonable. Procedures that are unsafe should be treated as safety-related postponements, not standard cancellations. The situation escalated when the manager, Sarah M, got involved. She was immediately defensive, dismissive, and blamed me, claiming pre-appointment instructions are sent with each appointment reminder (see screenshot, they were not). She also said it's listed in the policy that if we can't do the procedure due to safety it's a cancellation (I have a saved PDF from today's date that does not say this). Instead of resolving the issue professionally, she was confrontational, unprofessional, and inconsistent with the information I was given. What was most concerning was that when I asked to reschedule safely or discuss options, she responded with "so you want me to do it then?", implying a willingness to proceed despite the known safety concern. That is extremely alarming. This is not how a reputable practice operates. Patients should never feel penalized for declining treatment due to safety concerns, and it should never be suggested to proceed under such circumstances. Due to the safety concerns and unprofessional conduct, I will be reporting this business to the appropriate regulatory boards, including the Medical Board of California, the California Board of Registered Nursing, and the Department of Consumer Affairs. I would not trust this practice with my care and will not be returning after this experience. (This review has nothing to do with my nurse, Odette, who is amazing.)

I was hesitant to try this place, but I decided to make an appointment anyway. My husband decided to come along with me. Clean place, peaceful and intimate, so you definitely leave feeling relaxed. With reasonable prices and they try to accommodate for what the customer asks for. I love neutrals & shapes. Even if I ask for a random color that they don't have, the girls take the time to get something very close to what I asked for. ANYWAYS I came telling them I had an appointment today with Anne and I was taken in to do my nails first with my pedicure and let me just say that was AMAZING the message was perfect and my toes came out amazing then it came down to my acrylic full gel set and let me say I fell in love with the finished product !
