I LOVE UME TEA. I know there's one in SoCal, but it's really out of the way for me, so whenever I'm in NorCal, it's a MUST stop for me. Super cute and I love that the menu has a wide variety of fruit teas and milk teas, as well as SNACKS. Not many boba places do that any more (especially for the franchises in SoCal), so huge W for me. You can order ahead of time to pick up or you can order from their kiosk screen. They'll text you when the order is done. Definitely worth signing up for their points rewards systems especially since there are so many Ume Teas in NorCal and I believe they carry over to each one. I got their Crème Brûlée Thai Tea since it's a nice sweet dessert drink and I wanted something along the sort after having a very savory dinner. Also wanted our friend to try a bit since he has never really had milk tea before and doesn't like tea in general. He did enjoy this drink and said it was like a cake in a cup. So true! It's a simple Thai tea that's sweetened by the creme brulee cream smeared on the sides of the cup inside. Just mix it up well and it's a yummy dessert drink. My boyfriend got a 0% sweet milk tea and enjoyed it. I also got a fragrance ornament (you drop the scent oil on top and you can get it in 2 scents, I got the pear one) and a cute bunny plushie clip/drink holder and surprisingly it was only $4. I've seen boba places charge more for their merch. Really love how Ume has a lot of merch that's unique and affordable, ranging from stickers, plushies, tumblers, collab items, and much more. There's photo ops here. Though the bunny is a bit scuffed and dirty (wish it was a bit cleaner, would have been perfect for photos). Solid Ume Tea location.

A friend and I were going to met at another Boba place but there was no sitting. So walked down a few doors to this pleasant surprise. I got the coco mango. It was really good. It was like a mango slushie with coconut. Service was okay. Cute if you like taking selfies.

Order #41264 on 3/4/2026 My drink order was a rice mochi black milk tea with oats popping boba and a tanghulu yogurt slushie. My snack order was the plum popcorn chicken. The problem is that they messed up both our drinks but we didn't find out till we came home. The rice mochi black milk tea itself is correct but instead of oats popping boba, I got mango popping boba. I'm allergic to mango and cannot drink it. The tanghulu slushie does not usually have oats popping boba but it was included. The drink did include the haw flake type topping and the plum pieces that's supposed to come with the drink but didn't have the paste. The drink is noticeably white rather than the pink it's supposed to be. They also gave us a round cup rather than the rectangular but that may just be an inventory issue. I also don't know if their chicken supplier also changed their chicken source but it was extremely gristley and stringy compared to usual. Perhaps it was an off day or new employees but really, a bad experience. Could this be a sign of quality decline? Either way, it's really frustrating that I paid money for this.

Ordered my usual 3 drinks for pick up, drinks were ready when I walked in on a busy Saturday afternoon which was awesome. My drinks are usually on point... but today, I kept slurping up weird foreign little sticks. What a disappointment, I had to throw away one of my drink.

First time at Ume Tea and it was a solid pick. Skipped the boba and the drink still hit. Fresh, flavorful, and not overly sweet.Service was quick and the wait wasn't bad at all. Great first impression. I'd come back if ever in San Jose again.

I ordered something new today with the BOGO deal for Strawberry cloud matcha coco. The strawberry is not that strong. I think the coconut pudding and matcha makes it quite tasty. Totally worth the purchase! my local go-to boba

I stopped my UME tea after lunch today. It was my first time ordering from here. It's so pink inside. When you walk in, the pink just hits you lol . It's really cute that they have a bunny for their store logo. You place your order at the kiosk. I love fruit tea, so I checked to see what they offered for that. I chose the passion fruit & watermelon green tea with 30% sweetness and less ice. It took about 5 minutes for my order to be ready. They get a lot of online orders. So there wasn't anyone else inside at the time I was there, but they were busy in the back getting orders ready. My tea was very delicious and refreshing. They use fresh fruit to make their teas. I immediately tasted the watermelon right away. There were even little pieces of fresh watermelon inside. I didn't taste the passion fruit. That might be because I asked them not to add the passion fruit seeds. I still loved my tea, and I would order it again in the future.

I like that this location is rarely busy when I stop by, so I can grab my drink pretty quickly. I usually order the taro milk with mochi or the taro milk tea with mochi, depending on whether I want caffeine or not. They're always consistent with how they make the drinks, which is why it's never a miss for me.

Had a great time drinking here with friends around 8 pm! It wasn't busy when we arrived but we brought in a rush of people. It's a cute interior with lots of pink, bunnies, and softness. We ordered through the self serve kiosk or you could order through a live person at the register. They have regular table seatings for 1:1 or small groups of 3-4. Our drinks came in around 7-10 minutes after ordering. I ordered the mango melon breeze! Super refreshing, not too sweet, and delicious. Would come here again!

I always order their signature boba black milk tea, the boba is very chewy and soft. This is my favorite drink at Ume Tea.

I like the Ume boba black milk tea a lot. 15% sugar is good. This is my third time to get this drink. I will definitely come back again when I want to drink milk tea.

Not entirely sure what it is but I feel like Ume Tea often satisfies my quench. Can also be possible dehydration? Could it be that I don't drink enough liquids everyday? Probably I digress every time I get a fruit tea with or something delicious I'm always refreshed! I'm particularly overly fond of their popcorn chicken as well very crispy very tender and juicy.

Glad for an Ume Tea in the neighborhood. Had only been once and got the passion fruit tea that comes with boba and lychee jelly. I would've loved it if it didn't have slices of lime in it. It threw me off and too strong on the lime flavor. There's about 4 tables inside and no bathroom.

Loved their Taro fresh milk with pudding! They made it vegan by using Oat milk instead and added boba instead of pudding.

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by Enrique, who had such a warm and welcoming demeanor. We took a moment to look over the menu, and he quickly picked up that it was our first time. After we confirmed, he asked about our coffee preferences--strong, sweet, or somewhere in the middle--and walked us through the seasonal menu with some great suggestions. My wife ordered the iced lavender vanilla, and I went with the iced café carmelita. He also asked if we wanted food, so we tried the lemon blueberry loaf and a turkey avocado sandwich. Everything did not disappoint. The drinks were amazing--Enrique absolutely nailed the recommendations--and the turkey avocado sandwich was especially memorable. While our drinks were being made, we had some friendly small talk with the staff, which added to the experience. The overall vibe was great. The team was super friendly and attentive--when a line started forming, other staff jumped in right away to make sure no one was left waiting. I'm really glad we stopped in and gave this place a shot. We'll definitely be back!

My friend and I ordered the guava matcha (with cream) and strawberry matcha and both the drinks were delicious. Most places I do to I usually like only 1 drinks and not both that I get but both of them were extremely delicious. For the guava matcha, I was slightly disappointed and taken aback that they charge more for the guava cream but usually most places include it in the drink already but I def recommend getting it. It is definitely on the pricier side with my drink being close to $10 but it's sooo worth the try. The cream was so thick and creamy and their matcha is incredibly smooth. My friend got the strawberry matcha and that was so flavorful as well. Most times when I order starberry matcha the flavor is bland but hers was reallly good. It was a little hard to sip it through the straw though because of the syrup. The server there was extremely sweet as well. I didn't catch her name but I think she had an eyebrow piercing (?? Maybe??) but she was extremely helpful and made conversation. Loved the customer service. I also saw the workers who were making my drink take their time and care with it and measure everything properly with scales and everything which was great to see. And it's a cute small spot there which was so pretty. I RECOMMEND I need to go again once I get my money up tho

Their coffee is really good; I particularly like their dine-in-only Phin drip cream-top coffee. Though it is a little pricy, it comes with its own little drip setup, your choice of type of cream, and a little pastry snack. I also like their refreshers, though I would recommend the lower sweetness option, but I wouldn't recommend their matcha. Their food options are also appealing--their báhn mìs are quite good, but their pâté chauds were already sold out at ~12:30 PM, which was a little disappointing. I hope to try more of their food and snack options in the future. I would say that their prices range from being relatively reasonable (particularly for the food) to a little pricy (for some of the drinks). The quality varies, but is overall pretty good. It's also a good spot to study or work, as it has free Wifi and a number of electrical outlets, but it isn't open particularly late. Overall, I would definitely recommend you give this spot a try, particularly if you like good, strong coffee with a snack. The service is friendly and fast, the interior is clean and aesthetically pleasing, and the bathroom is clean (though the paper towel dispenser was empty or broken today).
