Even if it's made fresh, it usually shouldn't take more than 10-15 minutes. My younger sibling was the one who placed the order and had to wait there for quite a while, which was frustrating. Also, by the time I received my milk tea, the ice had already melted, so the drink tasted watered down. Overall, the long wait made the experience disappointing. A new Ume Tea shop just opened near my home, and they had a soft opening on Saturday. I ordered a caffeine-free Mango Pomelo Sago drink, and it tasted amazing. The mango was very fresh, and my son finished the whole cup, saying he loved it. The popcorn chicken was also delicious. I recommend eating it right away--the flavor is rich, the exterior is crispy, but the chicken inside is very juicy and tender. I hang out with my friend tonight at this milk tea shop. I ordered their Ume signature boba black milk tea and my friend ordered their mega fruit tea. Both our drinks were so tasty. I also got the popcorn chicken bento box that came with tofu, fish balls, dumpling, kimchee, seaweed salad and rice. This place is good for hang out since they have plenty of tables to seat.
