    Inside and where you order

Located in a beautiful building in the heart of Springfield is Un Mundo Cafe. They proudly serve food with ingredients from local vendors and suppliers which is great! Lots of vegetarian options on the menu as well as vegan! Food is great! Fresh, clean, great flavors. This is an awesome little lunch spot. I'm a bigger guy, and the sandwiches are on the smaller side, so next time I'll order two for sure cuz they are delicious!! It's also fast, if you're in a hurry and need a quick lunch, you can get in and out in 15-20 minutes.

Came for lunch while visiting Springfield, walked by and it looked adorable and my friend and I saw on the menu there were vegetarian and gluten free options for both of us. Here was a lot to choose from for me (both vegetarian and gluten free) but went with the vegan dog with gf bun- there were so many hot dog topping options, but I went with ruben dog, and my friend got the pizza dog. We both really liked them a lot. We both got it with a side of coleslaw, but it was pretty bland. We also got gf chocolate cookies that were soft and delicious. Just disappointed with the coleslaw, but everything else was great, great service and atmosphere also. Would be back if I lived closer.

I am traveling again this week and I find myself in downtown Springfield, OH. After a disappointing meal at the hotel restaurant (review coming later) I decided that $10.95 for a disappointing breakfast buffet wasn't going to my thing in the morning. My room just happens to overlook a little cafe. in a very cool period architectural building across the street and after a bit of research, I had decided on Un Mundo Cafe for breakfast the next morning. In the morning, the most difficult part was watching their window for the OPEN sign to illuminate! Rest assured I was across the street and their first customer of the day! The architectural details continue inside and then you see that Un Mundo isn't as same as it looks from the outside. I walked up to the counter and ordered a vanilla, carmel latte and a sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel. Everything was priced fair and was ready before I knew it. I had plenty of time before I needed to be at my customer's for work so I sat down and enjoyed a slow and peaceful time. Latte art is pretty good here and the breakfast sandwich was hand made from all local ingredients Un Mundo Cafe puts where they get their products from local farms and craftspeople. They also have a decent menu and an amazing number of their selections can be made vegan or gluten free. It is also not just a coffee shop. They serve lunch and dinner was well as alcohol. My breakfast sandwich was incredibly good. I can't say enough about it. In a sea of mediocrity of huge chain fast food, this was a very welcomed change. It was also priced competitively. That first sip[ of my latte reminded me of why I fell in love with coffee years and years ago. Dark, flavorful, creamy, and various other adjectives go to say how good the latte was. The owners moved Washington sate which is considered coffee Mecca by many coffee lovers. You might as well stop going the Star place because it can't compare! I am such a big fan of Un Mundo Cafe that I posted some picture and said on Facebook that this was the best breakfast I have in a very long time. I encourage all of you to stop by and try Un Mundo Cafe is you are ever in Springfield, OH. Stop by even if you are drink east or west on I-70. The cafe is only a couple of miles from the interstate. I will be back for breakfast in the morning and probably from dinner tomorrow! The Chinese food urge hit late this afternoon or I'd be at Un Mundo Cafe right now!

I hadn't tried this café before, but we decided to stop and have a late lunch. A couple of diners were still there, but overall it was pretty quiet. That was good for us actually! The menu was a little overwhelming with so many choices, but of the same content just mixed around with different ingredients,, and at exuberant prices. It's a small business and I can forgive that because they're trying to come into their own and I'm sure it's cost a lot for them to put out such a big menu and have so many different things to offer. I hate to say it, but the food was pretty mediocre and actually, I'd almost say disappointing. The beverages are very innovative for this area, anyway. I can't say I would probably choose this place again, I just don't see the attraction to wanting to go back for a grilled sandwich I could've made at home. It didn't really look like a Panini to me, it looked & tasted like a grilled turkey and cheese sandwich. Turkey meat tasted similar to what you'd buy at Kroger, not in the deli, in the prepackaged section. All in all, I wish them well, just not my favorite small restaurant so far.

My favorite local latte! This coffee shop is located in the historic Heritage Center in downtown Springfield. It is the perfect place to relax with a latte, breakfast sandwich, smoothie or even gourmet hot dog. There is always something happening in the area so come check it out!

It happens so rarely that a place exceeds expectations...an amazing building, personal service, the french toast and syrup were outstanding and the coffee wonderful...and as you can see from the picture...the weather!

So I was really happy when I saw that this was going to open right around the corner from the school at which I teach. I was in on the Grand Opening day (Friday, Mar 3) and the place was hopping at 645 am. The service was quick and my peanut butter latte (nonfat) was served quickly and it was HOT. The expresso machine can be a tricky machine and shots can go wrong right away, it was great. The café was full, there were students dressed like they just woke up (who I would see later dressed better at school) in line behind me. Students were coming in to school with Scout's cups and drinks in hand. They all said the same thing, they were happy with the product and the price. I failed to mention the biscotti that I purchased. It was outsourced somewhere locally and it was really good too. They have paired well with a local baker. The dude in charge (I think he was the manager) was running bagels from the back while his staff was cranking out the drinks. It was great. I went back this morning (Mon) and it was quiet. I got the same service and got to talk to the dude (Tony). He is very proud of the café that he, his sister, and other partners have created. It was clear that he was excited about the business venture. They have some flavors at the bar that they must be experimenting with , they were not on the menu and will probably not be around long. I had a Toasted Marshmallow latte this morning and it was even better than the PB one. It was really good. Service was quick and friendly. Everyone seemed awake, not grumpy. Many times morning employees can be very unfriendly, but that was not the case here. It was a great experience. I am used to coffee house type experiences in Columbus, and the SHort North. Scout's has a great opportunity to be the neighborhood place. I hope the locals all stop in on their way to work. It was clean, it was inexpensive (cheaper than Columbus prices) and delicious. I can't be positive enough on how good this is. I wish something like this had been around for years, but hopefully it will be until I retire. Good luck to the owners. Welcome to Northridge. (A few signature drinks would be awesome. I could suggest a few...hahah)

Since it's located downtown, parking can be a little more challenging, but that's to be expected and was well worth it. The staff was one of the highlights of our visit. The girls working were friendly, personable, and very knowledgeable about the menu. They took the time to answer questions and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we walked in. As two moms meeting for coffee with young children, we especially appreciated that they offered smoothies for the kids. While the flexible/ inclusive seating options at this location were somewhat limited, the space was so warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed that it didn't matter. The atmosphere felt comfortable and welcoming, making it easy to settle in and enjoy our time together. Great drinks, great service, and a cozy environment that encourages you to stay awhile. We'll definitely be back.

Located inside the Market downtown Springfield, parking wasn't too bad, numerous vendors, and the lively atmosphere makes for a good vibe Upon entering the main hall it's an open food court concept where you seat yourself and choose from all kinds of venues, but I came for the Chicken & Waffles and they did not disappoint! The Chicken was flavorful, crunchy, yet tender on the inside. The Waffles were fluffy and light which quickly absorbed the delicious Bourbon Maple syrup. Great mix that was all washed down with a wheat beer and some Blantons, yes, Blantons (IYKYK)! There is a full bar inside the hall which completed the meal before he headed out to Columbus! Service was always with a smile, although fruit was forgotten on one occasion. While the coffee was never hot enough for me, the food was very tasty. I especially enjoyed the freshly prepared waffles. The bacon was perfectly crisp and the strawberries fresh. Eggs were also perfectly over medium and topped with cheddar cheese.
