I've never eaten at the Woodstock location, only the food truck that's in my neighborhood. I was so upset today because they were closed!!! I LOOOVVVEEEE the food!! Nephew Cliff was dying for me to come try Uncle C's. WOW! WHAT A PLACE. first impression Embeccibly clean and organized. Carmen greeted us like we were family, by the end of our lunch we were. Uncle C the Smokemaster himself came out and also greeted us like nothing else mattered. The food. Ordered the pork sandwich, stew, and M&C. The pork was moist with inside and outside mixed, as it should be. Lightly smoked so I was able to also taste the pork. The home brew sauce enhanced the pork, not masked it like other joints. The stew about knocked me out if my seat. Multiple flavors with a little delayed sweetness in the distant and I wasnt ready for that. The M&C had a wonderful crust and smooth cheesy filling, no where near dry. The sauce. Home brewed. Perfectly balanced with spices. They sold out of the take home jars, next time. In a strip center without much signage. Had the Jerk chicken sandwich, nice and spicy with potato salad and coleslaw made with a twist and refreshing. My husband had ribs and pork which were excellent and Mac and cheese that was very good. Their sauces are made in house and really good. Glad we stopped in to check them out! read more

Ate there for lunch with the family today. No comments on decor, as to me its all about the food. Had the pork plate w/2 sides and sweet tea for drink. Chopped pork was outstanding, with plenty of "burnt ends". Sauces were great as well (hot and mild). I was dissapointed by the instant tea, as in my opinion, every legit BBQ joint should have real brewed tea. Also, the beans tasted straight out of the can, and had no flavor. Will definitely eat here again, but will avoid the two aforementioned items. Portion sizes were adequate, and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Enjoy! read more

Where do I start? Visited Uncle C's since it was the closest BBQ to my location earlier this afternoon. Knowing nothing about it, but going on the reviews I took a chance. Well... Order: brisket, mac & cheese, and Brunswick stew. Was going to have the sweet tea, because that's what you drink around here. Tea was out - they brought more, it was in a what appeared to be a new Publix sweet tea gallon jug! A BBQ place in the south that doesn't make its own tea? - 1 star Mac & cheese - appeared to be made in a hotel pan, good start. However, the top wasn't crisp or even slightly brown. No distinct flavor, just bland, ugh. Brunswick stew was cold. Too mild, should have a little kick. Again bland. Brisket it was odd from the start, it was served pulled, i.e not sliced Ickes or chopped. Good portion size, but there was not a noticeable smoke ring or smoke flavor. Served the way it was difficult to eat. Overall taste reminded me of a home cooked roast? Sauces served on the side were indistinguishable from grocery store slop. This really sucked because for the brisket to have any flavor I had to drown it in sauce. Glad I don't live anywhere near this place so forgetting to eat here again will be easy. Drove past Uncle C's on 92 this afternoon and the smoker was smokin' and we could smell the delicious food! I got the Brunswick stew and my husband got a pulled pork sandwich. The stew was SO flavorful with vegetables and meat and the sweet and savory broth had a tasty amount of spice. I had a bite of the pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious! OMG is the only way I can describe Uncle C's. I have tried everything and I truly mean everything; the pulled pork, brisket,Mac n Cheese, ribs, all flavors of the chopped chicken (mild,hot & jerk), chicken wings, Brunswick stew( which makes me feel at home because I am from NC), I LOVEEEEE the green beans ( I could eat them everyday), baked beans, cole slaw, potato salad, even the Texas toast and French fries taste heavenly. Don't even get me started on the peach cobbler it's exquisite ( I'm getting hungry again just thinking about it). This is a family business and they make you feel welcome every second you are there. BBQ was good. We had chopped chicken, brisket, ribs, & kid's pulled pork. Nice smokey flavor. Chicken was very moist not dry. Ribs sandwich was a little different, the ribs were still on the bone. So my daughter ate the ribs then ate the roll but ribs were delicious not too fatty. Loaded fries with pork were okay, not my thing. But the baked beans had a really nice flavor. This is some of the best BBQ I've had in this area. Small hole in the wall place that my fiancé and I stopped by on our way back to Kennesaw. First let me say we ordered via UberEATS, so I can only review the food not the actual location: our food was amazing!! I treated our shop (4 mechanics and myself) to lunch. All the guys were well satisfied with their portions. The meat was very delicious: actually tasted slow cooked, not just rubbed down with some smoke flavoring. I don't usually care for BBQ sauce (most people like it spicy) but this sauce was excellent. They guys who like it spicy said the heat sauce was excellent too. (I greatly appreciate that they had different levels of heat for their sauces). My green beans were like mom use to make. And the mac and cheese was like homemade too. Great BBQ!! We usually drive 20-30 min from home to get good BBQ but, no more!! Uncle C's was located in a very empty strip of empty stores. The food was delicious! My husband ordered the rib plate w/ Cole slaw & Mac & cheese. I ordered the pork plate w/ baked beans & Mac & cheese. Since we went at about 3:30 , after the lunch crew, they were out of Mac & cheese. I got Brunswick Stew which was very good, I'm picky & only like it from one other place. My husband decided on baked beans. The beans were very good and his Cole slaw was fair. The bbq sauces were both very tasty, one spicier , one sweeter. I usually order beef but wanted to try pork. I am very glad I did. It was a very generous portion on a bun. My husband really enjoyed his ribs too. We will definitely be back and probably become a regular. On the road through Georgia and my family had a taste for barbecue. We looked on Yelp and found Uncle C's. be careful of directions. Take address and put in Waze or your own GPS. The location of this place looks a little sketchy. Kind of a rundown small shopping plaza but the restaurant is clean and has a very mom and pop vibe to it. Service was super friendly and very kind. Now the food was killer!!! We had the chopped pork combo. Great color and amazing flavor!! The bbq sauce I believe was homemade and was fantastic! It's a total shame this place is in a small sketchy plaza because they would have a line out the door everyday in a high traffic plaza. I ordered a jumbo chopped pork sandwich and it was delicious! Add some of their bbq sauce or the spicy bbq sauce and it was pretty amazing. Also, had some mac and cheese that cheesier than usual side dish that I have received at other bbq joints. Went to Uncle C's yesterday with my family for lunch. Let me tell you this place has some awesome bbq. The ribs have a distinct hickory smoked flavor. This family run restaurant has it all when it comes to bbq. They are very friendly and Dru is there to make sure you have a wonderful experience. The Brunswick stew is to die for. The bbq is different from the rest. They actually have really lean meat. You don't have to chew on tough grissle or fat. I give them an A+ and will be back soon. read more
