I ordered a simple burger. It's $20 for a burger here. Is it worth it? Yep!!! It's one of the best I've ever had. I have it 5 , but it could be even better than it was. If they decided on a better bun I think this could be the best burger I've ever had, and I've had a lot. The bun taste great. I love brioche, but for this burger it fell apart from all the juices running out of it. My mouth is watering thinking about another one! The fries were a little under cooked. They were done, but not crispy. Otherwise it was an absolutely stunning lunch experience! The service was a little slow, but that was fine. There were only 4 other tables seated when I was there. I came here on a business trip with two of my colleagues. We tried the Monday smokehouse platter. The burnt ends were a little too far gone and the brisket was tough. The ribs fell off the bone and were delicious. The pork was pretty standard but good. The Applewood smoked bacon was fantastic as were the candied Wagyu meatballs. Been wanting to try this restaurant for a while so a friend and I decided to venture here for brunch. This was the day before the Super Bowl so even though the parking garage was full it was a little dead so we were sat right away. The restaurant is very cute, open, and spacious where we sat we had a great view of the entrance, the bar and the kitchen area. Waitress was great very attentive and nice! She definitely made sure we got our moneys worth for the two hour bottomless brunch, which I was pleasantly surprised that cocktails were included in that deal. As soon as I saw the endless steak for $39.99 I instantly knew I was getting that because I showed up starving. The deal was for a New York strip, a salad, two pieces of bread, and a side of french fries. I really didn't eat the bread I took a bite. It was delicious, but I didn't want to get full so I didn't really mess with the salad or the bread and I only got two steaks, but they were flavored, really good sizes, and I definitely left full. A wonderful steakhouse over all. I went for the first time to this location and the steaks were just as good as the Sugarloaf location. The same interior design keeps it cozy and a bit upscale trendy. The menu has a wide variety of food other than steaks so everyone can find something to enjoy. The only downside I found at this spot was the lackluster service. Our waiter was very distracted and seemed checked out. It was a slow night and we were his only table for almost half the meal but we had to constantly wave his down from talking to other staff to get our food and drinks. Two of us got the endless steak meals and having to constantly wait for him to looks around so we could get his attention to put in our next steak order was very annoying. Mother's Day Brunch buffet review. Service was great. Our server Patti was wonderful and if it had not been for her I would rate this experience with 1 star. Food was mediocre at best. At about $65 per adult I expected a higher quality. I had one plate and forced myself to eat it. In order to make the reservation it was required that you pay in full through OpenTable. No problem, did that and my credit card was immediately charged. I was super disappointed when the bill came and we were told that we would be charged again for the buffet but it would be credited back later. Like what??? Talk about a double dip. They should disclose that info on the Brunch advertising so customers are aware prior to booking. Seems a bit shady. The bill also included some questionable fees: Admin Fee $4.93, Management Fee $8.49, and automatic gratuity of 15% for our table of 2. I won't ever do their Buffet experience again. I met a client for lunch at this restaurant and it was an unreal experience! For the first time I had thick cut bacon with peanut butter . Oh MY. GOSH! Was it a great and a great combination! We were looking for something different for an early lunch and stopped in at Uncle Jack's Meat House for a burger (me) and steak (hubby). The ambiance and decor of the restaurant put a smile on our face immediately and the aromas were getting our mouths watering. Our server (the bartender) helped us make excellent cocktail (brunch Bloody Mary) and appetizer choices (bacon + peanut butter). We originally wanted the ricotta appetizer but they were out so he suggested we try their bacon "because it was what they were famous for." The bacon was AMAZING - basted in chipotle maple syrup with more on the side you can dunk in, along with peanut butter. Now, I love peanut butter but I have never paired it with bacon before & I don't know why!!!?? It was delicious - somehow it makes the flavor of the bacon more meaty. We are taking off a star because although our meals were tasty, they were overcooked. We both ordered from the brunch menu. I chose the potatoes and brisket with cheese sauce (I'm pretty sure it was real cheese, too!!!) and egg on top. Hubby ordered the steak & eggs. On both our dishes, we ordered over medium fried eggs and got hard fried eggs - no ooze of yolk anywhere . Hubby's steak was a little overcooked, too; ordered medium rare and received medium-ish closer to well. I don't know how this place only has 3.9 Stars. Holy crap. It's amazing. Let's start with the service, Patty is absolutely amazing. I would recommend it to actually ask for her when you ealk in. It's very resourceful. Knew everything and I can't tell you if I drink ever got below halfway before she filled it back up. She even brought us a copper cuttery biscuit and that was delicious. Next, let's go on to the appetizer, the bacon. You must eat the bacon. You must dip the bacon in the peanut butter. It was one of the best things I've ever put in my mouth. Let's move on to the main dish. The burger was fantastic. I tried the Duke which has peaches and peach jam and peanut butter and bacon and sounds weird but was absolutely delicious. Stumbled in UJMH sort of by accident one day and I'm so glad I did! I sat at the bar and was greeted by Patty -- she's now become my favorite bartender in the area! She's sweet, positive, and truly loves her job and patrons. Each employee she's introduced me to has been equally as friendly. Aside from the service, positive energy and fantastic cocktails, I ordered the Wagyu meatballs and they were phenomenal -- chef's kiss! Well, I finally broke down and went to the meat house. Mostly because it was warm outside, they had their patio area open, and the smells were amazing! I walked in, expecting to be greeted.. nope.. There was only 1 bar tender and 1 bar-back, whom everyone thought was a bartender until you noticed that although he's looking at you and working at the bar, he will NOT talk to you. This became a running joke between us all sitting there. I strongly suggest they train him to interact with the patrons to help offset the wait and help out the bartender. The menu is simple but enough. Ala carte sides, with some fish options. I think it's a little pricey, but what isn't lately? I ordered the lamb chop appetizer- waited forever... The bartender noticed, apologized, but couldn't offer an excuse. My compliments to the manager who brought them out to me. He personally apologized and said it was unacceptable and comped them. His strategy worked because I bought another drink and made sure my hubby and a few others heard how amazing they tasted. We also had the very tasty Mac and cheese, which is listed as a shareable, but the portion on that is debatable. Their chicken sandwich was HUGE! Those I saw who ordered it took half of it home. I was told it was a great choice. I can't say we were disappointed, but maybe I should have read some reviews first because I expected a little more.. yet I didn't leave disappointed. Never had that away, but it was pretty good and I ended up going back later date for their meatloaf which I was told is different than others. it was definitely different than others not traditional, but it was specialized in. I took my wife to the Peachtree Corners location for Valentine's Day, and we were SO disappointed. We had a reservation for 8:30, however upon arrival, the hostess told us the inside was full and that they could seat us on the patio. We were naturally hesitant to sit on the patio in 50 degree whether, but it was heated and covered so it wasn't bad. The ambiance was nice, but it was very cramped on the inside, almost like they added extra tables for Valentine's Day or something. Anyway, our server was really nice and attentive. We had the bacon to start which was really good! Then we waited for our entrees for almost 2 hours! The manager didn't come by to check on us at all during our wait. The server tried to do damage control and comped my wife's drink. When the food finally came, my $60 Prime cut New York Strip steak was small and burnt. My wife's $44 ribeye was much bigger even though hers was 16 oz. as well. She told me that I've made better steak for her at home. I asked for the manager, who was nice and seemed concerned, however, he did not know how to make things right for us. He eventually asked me if I wanted a ribeye to replace my steak, so I agreed to that. But after waiting 2.5 hours I just had the waiter to have them make it to-go. When the bill came, they charged me for the second steak. I didn't even think I had to demand that it be comped. I had to ask for the manager again, who didn't give me a hard time about taking the second steak off the check. I ended up just tipping extra to the server, because despite all the problems, he did a good job and even though they closed at 10, he and the rest of the staff was there well after 11 to accommodate their customers. Came here for a Friday date night around 8pm. Wasn't super busy when we FIRST arrived but I'd reserve a table to be on the safe side because it was packed by the time we left! Location: Awesome place near the Forum. Perfect for date nights, after work drinks, or bigger family gatherings. Parking: Free available parking in the deck adjacent to the restaurant. Wasn't hard to find a spot at all. Service: I forgot our servers name but she was very attentive and her coworkers made sure to support our table whenever we needed anything extra or last minute! Food was yummy! Just check the photos out. The burger was demolished before we left and the steak sandwich was done right after we got back home!!
