My family and I visited here for Easter. It was an amazing experience with excellent customer service and delicious food! The ambiance was nice and quiet and family friendly. If you haven't tried this place before, you should now.

Mother's Day Brunch buffet review. Service was great. Our server Patti was wonderful and if it had not been for her I would rate this experience with 1 star. Food was mediocre at best. At about $65 per adult I expected a higher quality. I had one plate and forced myself to eat it. In order to make the reservation it was required that you pay in full through OpenTable. No problem, did that and my credit card was immediately charged. I was super disappointed when the bill came and we were told that we would be charged again for the buffet but it would be credited back later. Like what??? Talk about a double dip. They should disclose that info on the Brunch advertising so customers are aware prior to booking. Seems a bit shady. The bill also included some questionable fees: Admin Fee $4.93, Management Fee $8.49, and automatic gratuity of 15% for our table of 2. I won't ever do their Buffet experience again. And I won't dine here again as long as they are charging customers ridiculous add on fees.

The Peachtree Burger Aka "The Duke"*

Uncle Jack's Meat House delivers a solid dining experience with a creative menu and great atmosphere. I started with the house salad, which was fresh and well-balanced, and the crispy Brussels sprouts as a side, which had a great crunch and flavor. For my main course, I went with The Duke--a bold burger topped with peanut butter, bacon, and peaches. It was definitely an interesting combination that worked well, but I have to say I prefer The King, which just hits the spot a bit better for my taste. Service was friendly and efficient, and the overall vibe of the restaurant made for a great meal. Definitely worth checking out, especially if you enjoy unique burger creations!

Thick cut bacon with peanut butter for the WIN !

I met a client for lunch at this restaurant and it was an unreal experience! For the first time I had thick cut bacon with peanut butter . Oh MY. GOSH! Was it a great and a great combination! I never thought that I would love it. I will say what I was told "it sounds weird but it just works. Trust me!" This is a must! I also had the chicken breast it had a kick hut it was very delicious. The mashed potatoes were very smoothed and soft. The waiter was great and he really ensured that we were taken care of. The glass was always full of water, very attentive and cordial. The restaurant is very clean and plenty of space for a group event for sure. If you are in the area, stop by and get you some bacon !

    Applewood Smoked Bacon Homemade Lemonade

From the moment you walk in, the place has a super chill vibe and everyone's really friendly. Our server was awesome--wish I remembered his name, but he was seriously great! Now the food... so good! We started with the Applewood-Smoked Bacon--thick-cut and served with two delicious sauces. The chicken was juicy, full of flavor--definitely an 8/10. I had the BYOB burger (cooked medium well), and it was solid! A good burger overall, I'd give it a 7/10. But the real star? The Five Cheese Mac & Cheese with lobster. Chef's kiss. I'd go back just for that--9/10 easy. We spent around $200, but we had a few drinks, so it added up. Overall, everything was amazing. Great food, great service, great vibe. I'd totally recommend it!

We were looking for something different for an early lunch and stopped in at Uncle Jack's Meat House for a burger (me) and steak (hubby). The ambiance and decor of the restaurant put a smile on our face immediately and the aromas were getting our mouths watering. Our server (the bartender) helped us make excellent cocktail (brunch Bloody Mary) and appetizer choices (bacon + peanut butter). We originally wanted the ricotta appetizer but they were out so he suggested we try their bacon "because it was what they were famous for." The bacon was AMAZING - basted in chipotle maple syrup with more on the side you can dunk in, along with peanut butter. Now, I love peanut butter but I have never paired it with bacon before & I don't know why!!!?? It was delicious - somehow it makes the flavor of the bacon more meaty. We are taking off a star because although our meals were tasty, they were overcooked. We both ordered from the brunch menu. I chose the potatoes and brisket with cheese sauce (I'm pretty sure it was real cheese, too!!!) and egg on top. Hubby ordered the steak & eggs. On both our dishes, we ordered over medium fried eggs and got hard fried eggs - no ooze of yolk anywhere . Hubby's steak was a little overcooked, too; ordered medium rare and received medium-ish closer to well. We will come back because service and drinks and bacon was fantastic; but we hope the entrees turn out better.

Admin fee. We don't know what that is. Not mentioned anywhere on their menu. Business write offs. Needs to be audited.

Food 2/10 Service 5/10 Ambiance 7/10 Noise 6/10 Cleanliness 5/10 Friendliness 6/10 We have been to nearly every restaurants. I have written reviews from michellin restaurants 1-5 star restaurants. We made a reservation. Food were all salty or no salt or extremely salty. Just got them to go, it would have been a waste of time complaining. This restaurant have loss taste and class, both locations including the one that closed down. Now I remember why we stopped going there. We use to go there often. Food is equivalent to gas station food, no better than frozen or microwaved foods. It's disgusting. Presentation and taste. I don't rewrite reviews. There are other many restaurants around them with better food. Both locations. Skip it. Yes we tried both just this month. It's on our do not go to this restaurant list and share with others your experience.

I don't know how this place only has 3.9 Stars. Holy crap. It's amazing. Let's start with the service, Patty is absolutely amazing. I would recommend it to actually ask for her when you ealk in. It's very resourceful. Knew everything and I can't tell you if I drink ever got below halfway before she filled it back up. She even brought us a copper cuttery biscuit and that was delicious. Next, let's go on to the appetizer, the bacon. You must eat the bacon. You must dip the bacon in the peanut butter. It was one of the best things I've ever put in my mouth. Let's move on to the main dish. The burger was fantastic. I tried the Duke which has peaches and peach jam and peanut butter and bacon and sounds weird but was absolutely delicious. The sweet and savory together was amazing. Let's move on to the main dish. The burger was fantastic. Good spot in Peachtree corners for dinner. We got the steak sandwich and it was really good! It was pretty big. The portions here are large so you can split or take some home

There isn't much I can say about this establishment. We attempted to dine here on a Saturday night and was asked if we had a reservation. We stated we did not have a reservation. The hostess advised that they had no open seating due to the restaurant having a full house of reservations. We went to another restaurant. Make sure you call before attempting to dine here. A reservation may be needed.

Went here for the 1st time with family. They are known for meat and that was good. The bacon is very yummy, liked it with both sauces. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and very tender, good taste. The Cubano sandwich, YUM! Oh so good and no complaints on the burger. The brussel sprouts were too sweet and did have the look bc they wasn't any green. The mac & cheese was nasty, i know they said made from scratch but they need to change that receipt. But if a good piece of beef is what you want then definitely try them out.

Amazing food. Amazing place. Michael is a true rockstar here. He took care of us and all the kids along with my mother in law. We have a gluten allergy and he was knowledgeable and the food came out fresh and hot. They even had a great gluten-free bun for my burger. We also had the fillet and lobster tail, lobster tail was OK but the fillet along with the burger was phenomenal. Fries are out of this world, and I've got to say it's one of the best burgers I've ever had, cooked to perfection. Cheers Michael we appreciate you!

I had the pleasure of being served by Jenny today for Brunch at Uncle Jack's Meat House. She was an attentive, communicative and knowledgeable bartender. A mixologist at her core, Jenny concocted delectable brunch cocktails with less than a 5 minute wait time. I ordered the crab cake omelet with a house salad topped with vinaigrette dressing on the side. Beyond Amazing! Intimate ambiance and perfect for dates or dinner with friends. The menu includes a variety of steak options. Fairly priced. No complaints at all! 5 stars! 5 stars! 5 stars!

I was really looking forward to trying the oysters, but I didn't realize their menu changes often so unfortunately, no oysters this time. A little sad about that! We decided to order pretty much everything off the à la carte menu. Overall, the food was just okay to me. The Brussels sprouts were the hardest to eat they were basically raw, just thinly sliced with sauce poured over. It would've been much better if they were at least steamed or grilled a bit. The mushrooms, though, were absolutely BOMB! If I didn't know what it was, I would've thought it was some sort of meat dish super soft, flavorful, and delicious. Definitely the highlight of the meal. The Wagyu, on the other hand, was a big disappointment. For the price, it was tough and chewy when it should've been buttery and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Overall, the place is cute and the vibes are nice, but the food was overpriced for what it was. I'd only come back for those mushrooms they were that good.

I placed an order for everything on the carte menu. Food was fun and a few of the dishes caught me off guard, in a good way. Pros. We loveeed the maitake mushrooms. This dish was one dish my friend and I had low expectations for. Ironically it's the only dish we would go back for! The bucatini I also had low expectations for. I hardly order pasta, from non pasta specialty places, because the pasta is 99% of the time going to be overcooked. BUT this bucatini was cooked perfectly al dente. The sauce was rich but not too heavy and just enough to cover the noodles without drowning. The crab taste was pretty faint. If it weren't listed on the menu I wouldn't even think it were in the dish. Cons. The brussel sprout salad was honestly almost inedible. It is a raw shaved brussel sprout salad, dressed as a Caesar salad. Although not bad tasting, the core of the sprouts was not tender but dry and hard. There was also a lot of it. Most disappointing was the "waygu ribeye". The quality was pretty horrible. The piece we got had silver skin as well as chunks of fat. I wish I got a picture of the leftover fat from the steak but if you look at my picture you can clearly see slices of just fat. I love a little fat on a well cooked ribeye and do not mind paying for it. But paying $50 for a probably 8oz "waygu" ribeye with only half of it palatable is wild. Regardless, I'm actually going back in a couple of days with my husband because of those amazing mushrooms.. though as I am writing this review I'm debating on canceling my reservation, ordering the mushrooms to go, and just going elsewhere. lol

This trip was actually our first time visiting without him so we were a little lost about what to do next. LOL. We had gone to a cafe earlier in the day but it was still too early for dinner so we kept searching for something interesting to do. That's when my husband found Distillery of Modern Art. I wasn't really in the mood for drinking during the day so I wasn't sure at first but I'm so glad we went! We had never heard of a combination of a distillery and an art gallery before which immediately caught our attention. It looked like the space is used for a variety of events as well. Since we visited during Mother's Day weekend, there was a flower arrangement workshop happening in one of the rooms when we arrived. The bar area was very spacious with plenty of seating and since it was our first visit, we decided to sit at the bar. The bartender was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain the different liquors they produce. My husband sampled their rye whiskey, gin, and Amaro Peach. I'm usually not much of a gin fan but theirs was exceptionally smooth and I actually enjoyed it. Amaro tends to be quite bitter but their Amaro Peach had a really nice balance of bitterness and sweetness. I ordered the Ocean Eyes cocktail which features their Amaro Peach and it was excellent. The bartender also made his own special version of a classic cocktail for my husband (I forgot the name!) and he really enjoyed it. What stood out most was how friendly and passionate the bartender was. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does and honestly, he made the experience even more enjoyable for us. We had such a great visit that my husband ended up bringing home bottles of their gin and Amaro Peach. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Atlanta!
