Nice to see that they get a lot of customers. We ate in to stay out of the heat so I was able to see a steady line of customers coming in then going out. Hotdogs were prepared like an assembly line. You order, then one person assembles your dog (hotdog, polish dog, hot link) and adds the toppings. Then it gets wrapped while one person gets your drink ready. Then one person hands your order to you. The line moves quickly because the dogs are already cooked. The hotdogs still taste the same. It hits the spot if you want a hotdog. But it's not as good as a Costco hotdog or if you want a grilled bratwurst. Inside Casper's still has the same feel from the 70's with the same orange and yellow colors. Loved it!

**Rating: 2.5 Stars** With all due respect, the hotdogs here are mediocre, especially considering the prime location in downtown Concord, Total, at the Plaza corner. The area is beautiful, surrounded by glass, and the staff provides excellent customer service. The ladies working in the kitchen are amazing, and I genuinely appreciate their efforts. However, I miss the quality from the previous spot. The hotdog I purchased today for $8 was disappointing. I could have gotten a better one at a Chevron ExtraMile for a fraction of the cost. The hotdog was cold, the sausage slightly hard, and the toppings were minimal. For such a great location, I expected more. Before investing in technology like self-ordering machines, I think the focus should be on the quality of the food. Maybe consider offering organic ketchup and better-quality mayo while keeping the profit margin reasonable. I'll give the place another try in 30 days, but until then, I'll be getting my next hotdog elsewhere. read more

Uncle Jay Burger House in Concord, California is a great place to grab a delicious burger. The burgers are well-seasoned and cooked to perfection, making every bite a burst of flavor. The juicy and tasty patty is complemented by a soft bun and all the right toppings, making it a burger that is hard to resist. I had the Katsu burger and it was delicious, my favorite so far. I also had the fire burger which had a good kick to it. Came down last week from Reno to visit some friends in the Bay Area made a stop here to grab some food after the drive and was blown away at the pricing and quality I ordered the fire burger and fries and both were delicious. Not only was it a fantastic burger it was very filling and came at a great price. Uncle Jays will be my new stop any time I head to the Bay Area. On top of the excellent quality and pricing the staff is extremely friendly, service is fast, and the restaurant is as clean as it comes. A Delicious Burger with a Perfect Cook I was on the hunt for a really good burger, and this one definitely hit the spot! The burger was flavorful, juicy, and cooked perfectly to my liking. I really enjoyed the overall taste and texture--it was satisfying without being overly heavy. My only suggestion would be to add a little more in the way of fresh vegetables. I think some extra lettuce, tomato, or other veggies would give it a nice freshness and balance. I use to eat here in 2002-2007 and the food was always fresh and good. So today when I passed by I wanted to give it a try because I seen people saying it's still good. Well I'm disappointed! My bun on the hotdog was hard not fresh at all. The hot dog was ok and the fries were hot however tasted like onion rings so that's tells me the grease is old. Sorry but good! Do better!! read more
