Service is quick! Waited maybe 5 minutes. Great crunch and good cheese to dough ratio. They get a lot of customers too!

The food isn't bad. The prices are good and from all food it's really good for the value The hotdogs were super cheesy and flavorful. And the staff was attentive and friendly. I've had quite a few different Korean style corndogs, and these were pretty good

Bookmarked for a while now. My local Yelp buddy Ivy S. wrote a glowing review and so I knew I had to try. Today was that day! I haven't been to the mall in a very long time, the food court blew my mind! We ordered 2 mozzarella and one original. The mozzarella were so melty. I added spicy Mayo and hot chili sauce. I would totally eat again next time I find myself in the mall.

We payed full freaking price for a half sausage no way! 1st and last time here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First time here ordered a cheddar sausage Korean dog, half way in no dog last 2 bites we see the hot dog wth we payed full price for a whole hot dog and get half?!!!!! Yeah first time and last time here!!!!

First time trying this mochi battered corn dog. The store is located at the Lower Level Food Court by JCPENNEY. They offer Korean fried chicken, Korean corn dogs, fries and others. The double cheese dog was yummy.

Very excited to have Korean cheese dogs right here in the food court! I didn't even know this place was open lol. Haven't ate in the food court in awhile and was surprised they sold cheese dogs here! We usually get our cheese dog fix in Berkeley, but they close early and it's always a wait. This is very convenient to get if we're shopping at Sun Valley and need a little snack. We ordered the potato mozzarella with no sugar or any other coating. We were taking it to go, so we asked for spicy mayo on the side and the lady in front was able to give us small sauce containers to go. The service was really slow though. There seemed to be only two people working. We thought we were the only ones that ordered because there was no one around the establishment. However, it seemed like a lot of people were waiting for their orders too. Hopefully it improves over time. The hot dog was not greasy at all, compared to the ones I've tried at other places. It makes you feel less guilty eating it, kinda haha. As I was taking pictures of the menu, I notice that they sell Korean fried chicken as well! Omg. Will have to try those next time! I love KFC and soy garlic Very happy that there are different food options to choose from at the food court now.

My daughter loves Korean Corn dogs and we like to try new places that makes them. This popped up on Yelp when we were in Pleasant Hill. This is located in the food court area on Sunnyvale mall. This review is specifically for the Korean corn dogs. They have 8 different varieties. 5 different sauces and 4 seasonings. Most places charges extra for the sauces but here you can get as much as you want. We both ordered the potato mozzarella. I had Parmesan as my seasoning and my daughter had sugar for her seasoning. Ours came out fresh and the string cheese pull was just right. We both tried the cheddar cheese sauce with it. The customer service was great. They were super friendly. We will definitely be coming back.

Staff was friendly. She patiently waited for me to decide what to get. I got the premium beef and the potato mozzarella for my son. The premium beef was ok for me. Wished it was beefier. The batter had a nice crunch to it. Overall pretty good. My son loved his, he just devoured it.

I always love the appeal of Korean "corn dogs" or rather just hotdogs on a stick. I wanted to try this place in the mall since the only other time I had this was in Cupertino. They have a variety of choices for their dogs, ranging from $4.25 and up. I got the cheddar and sausage and a small order of honey butter fries. The Cheddar/Sausage: It was pretty good and cheesy. It kept pulling and pulling, so that I knew the cheese was done right. The dog though was a little bit on the short side. The honey butter season they put was delicious and they had a nice array of sauces. Honey Butter Fries: I just love the seasoning. Only thing that made it special over regular fries. Overall, not too bad. Though a bit pricey ($10 for the two) I may consider coming back here again.

On a whim one day while at the mall and hungry we decided to try Koko Fried Chicken. We were very pleasantly surprised by what we got. I thought the food was so good I pretty much swing by and get something every time I'm at the mall now. The menu is not big but you have options. It depends on how I'm feeling as to what I get. If you're not too hungry but you want the crispy crunchy shell that comes on the hot dogs and mozzarella. Get the all mozzarella on a stick. The crust on all the dogs and cheese is out of this world good. How do they do that?! I really like the premium hot dog but the regular dog is very good as well. The wings are also fried to perfection. Korean wings are really something to be contended with and I've yet to find crispier crunchy fried chicken that is this good. The skin, the fried skin is where its at. I've yet to try the potato fried options. I'm addicted to the crispiness of the outside of those dogs and cheese. I get into a fugue state and just order the crispy cheese. Its soooo good.

Combo 6wings & 2 Drumsticks. My Fiancé & I got this to share and it was more than enough to share!

Went a few weeks ago with my Fiancé on a Wednesday (been craving it ever since) this place was so good and Not a long wait at all...Well worth it! we spilt all of this for $26 bucks. We will definitely be going back! Lol

After a quick trip to Forever 21, I was in need of fuel. When I made my way over to the food court I was surprised to find this place. Korean Fried Chicken and their hotdog on a stick. Now I have had an amazing experience at a place like this in Berkeley. I can just see and taste the hotdog goodness now. So of course I had to try it out. I wouldn't say this place is better than the one at Berkeley. But I would say it is still pretty good. I had the Mozzerella & Sausage one. The batter around the cheese and sausage was so good. A nice mix of crunchy and soft to melt in your mouth. I think they could have cooked the whole thing a little longer. Something about the sausage tasted a wee bit undercooked. Also a must have is the sugar on top with spicy Mayo. There's something about that contrast of mild spice and sugar that works so well. I really want to try their fried chicken now. I'll give it a 4/5 for now. Final review after I try the chicken.

When you enter the Food Court entrance of the mall, this place is on the right.

If you ever have a craving for Korean corndogs this place is conveniently located inside the mall to fix that. I ordered the Mozzarella and Sausage hotdog with a large Sprite ($7.10). I got sugar, cheese, and ketchup on mine (I would probably skip cheese next time). Food is hot and fresh to order so don't mind the wait. Corndog was crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, overall great mall food. It kept me full during my Christmas shopping. There's an employee by the entrance of the indoor seating area that checks your vaccination card if you want to sit down and eat, which I think is pretty cool.

The staff were friendly as well. We looked at the menu and ordered, and then we got some of banchan / veggie side dishes for our meal. We ordered the following - Japchae - noodles appetizer. Was a very decent size for an appetizer as well. The kids really enjoyed this. Tofu Stew - i usually get this spicy, but since my daughter didn't want spice, we got it not spicy at all. Tofu was soft and the beef was alright. This dish was on the more saltier side in our opinions, but wonder if the spice they would have added would have balanced out the saltiness. The side of rice helped cut the saltiness as well. Bimbimbap - love these stone bowl rice dishes! Was pretty standard and we added a fried egg on top as well. My son was a fan of this dish. I expected a bit more. Kalbijjim - the must dish to get here! We ordered the MINI one since we were sharing everything, and we didn't add on any toppings. The dish came and it was really big and amazing. However, either the person didn't hear me or ignored me, it turned out it was the regular size as we were charged $80+ for it instead of the $30 mini size one. It was really tasty - both the short ribs on the bones and not on the bone. There were radish, potato, and rice cakes mixed in there as well. If we knew we were getting a regular one, I would have liked some toppings such as corn or something... not too sure what happened there, but it was still really tasty. We had a bit leftover and were given a box with no lid. They would seal the box with the plastic wrap thingy. Would come back again.

Gen was the first K-bbq spot I ever tried, so it'll always have a special place in my heart. Over…read morethe years, though, so many K-bbq restaurants have opened up that unfortunately Gen kind of slipped off my radar. But this week, something came over me, and I decided to give it another shot. Lunch was about $22 per person as of June 2026. I remember going to the Concord location years ago and feeling like the portions were pretty small, even though you could order it as many times as you wanted. This time around though, our experience was completely different. Every order came out piled high like a mountain of meat. Everything was fresh, the marinades were on point. On top of that, our server was so friendly and attentive. Honestly, if I could give this place six or seven stars out of five, I would!!! Honey Soy Beef Belly: Absolutely amazing. The beef was sliced thin with the perfect ratio of meat to fat. The sweet and savory marinade complemented the richness of the beef belly oh so perfectly. I also loved the generous amount of green onions they sprinkled on top, which made this dish even more inviting. I'd order this again in a heartbeat. Beef Belly: This is basically the unseasoned version of the Honey Soy Beef Belly, so the quality of the meat was just as good. The nice thing is that you can customize each bite with the seasonings at the table, whether it's Green Tea Salt, Sesame Oil, or Sweet Soy Sauce. Simple but delicious. Bulgogi: Bulgogi has never been my favorite since I usually prefer savory over sweet, but this was still very good. The beef was tender, the marinade was flavorful, and everything was well balanced. That said, I'd still pick the Beef Belly dishes over this one. Chadol: This beef brisket used to be my go to order at Gen. Somewhere along the way, though, they switched to a leaner cut of meat. So now it wasn't quite as tender as I remembered. Still though, the meat was fresh and tasty. Honestly, it really comes down to your personal preference and whether you enjoy a leaner cut or a fattier cut. Pork Belly: Thick slices of unseasoned Pork Belly that you grill yourself and cut into smaller pieces then dip in Sesame Oil and Salt? Yes please! These were incredibly satisfying. Once cooked, the pork was even still tender and juicy. Easily my favorite pork option. Spicy Marinated Squid This dish had that classic Korean spicy sauce that balances sweet, savory, and spicy flavors super duper well. The squid stayed tender after grilling, it was amazing. I'd definitely order this again. Hotteok: A Korean style pancake filled with Brown Sugar and Peanuts. It's definitely a heavier dessert after a bbq meal than what I usually prefer, but it was still really good. The outside was pleasantly chewy (mochi like texture), while the filling was warm, sweet, and gooey. Kimchi Fried Rice: Don't sleep on this one because their Kimchi Fried Rice was fantastic. It had the perfect balance of tang and savory flavors, and it paired well with all the bbq meats. Super yummy.

When we walked in, the restaurant didn't look busy at all. There were quite a few empty tables, but we were told there would be a 5-minute wait. The host wasn't very welcoming and simply said, "5 minutes, wait over there." It wasn't rude enough to ruin the experience, but it definitely wasn't the warm first impression you'd hope for. The wait ended up being closer to 10 minutes, which was confusing since there were still several empty tables. It also didn't appear that they were short-staffed. We saw about five employees walking around the dining room, and while I'm not sure if they were all servers, there seemed to be plenty of staff on the floor. Unfortunately, the service throughout our meal was just very slow. We had to keep flagging down our server--or any available server--whenever we needed something. Our server herself was friendly, which honestly makes this review a little harder to write because she was pleasant whenever we interacted with her. However, the overall lack of urgency from the staff and the less-than-friendly greeting from the host affected our experience. On the positive side, the food was great and came out quickly, so I have no complaints there. But dining out isn't just about the food--it's also about the service and overall experience. The quality of the meal was enough to bring us in, but the service is what will determine whether we come back.
