We have been eating here since the restaurant opened. Our last two trips to this restaurant were disappointing. It took more than 40 minutes to get our entrees. This was a kitchen issue, not a server issue.. The slowness of the entrees has become worse each visit, The other significant issue is the very noticeable shrinking of the entree sizes. My shrimp fajita barely had enough vegetables for one corn tortilla. The grilled shrimp were tiny. My husband had the same small serving size for his chicken and beef fajitas. The beef was tough and not up to par. Our hope is that management can address these issues soon. read more

Went for dinner. Terrible service. The staff (specifically host stand) has absolutely no clue what's going on. We got the text saying our table was ready, yet they made us wait an extra 20 mins because they gave our table away to someone with a "similar name". Waited an hour for food, and waited nearly as long for our check! The food was fine. The manager (?) did come over and apologized which was greatly appreciated. Since this was my first time going, I am willing to try again, maybe for lunch or when it's less crowded. But I was definitely disappointed after hearing great things. read more

Well, I am so disappointed. This is truly one of my favorite Tex-Mex restaurant chain. I've ate them all over from Washington DC Atlanta, Georgia, Texas, Orlando and I really don't know what went wrong here maybe being a newer location is the problem. The whole staff was terrible. My waitress took her order, never seen her again. We had to pile up the dishes and put them on the corner of the table and never came back. Never asked if we needed anything never cleaned up the table Went the whole meal without getting a refill until I ask somebody else is waiter. Order came out backwards. I asked for my steak to be served medium because it's going to cook up on the sizzling skillet it. This was our third visit, we sat at the bar. Service was great, I had the Tres Amigos Margarita, was delicious. Our first visit was a great experience, the food, ambiance and the staff were wonderful. The manager MARCELO was amazing, his service was outstanding and all the tables around us felt the same, as he treated every customer with the highest level of care and attention. Was in Naples for work this week and decided to visit our favorite chain restaurant. LOVED everything about it. The chips and salsa were very fresh and tasty. We ordered filet and chicken fajita combo for two and it was DELICIOUS!!! The meats were tender, juicy and full of flavors!!! My husband likes mid rare for his filet and it was perfectly done! Our server Brooke was very welcoming, attentive and pleasant. Samantha, the Senior Culinary Manager stopped by our table and she was very friendly and caring. We could tell that she truly cares about our needs and preferences and wants us to have a wonderful experience. Had dinner here right before Christmas and was more than satisfied. I already had a favorite Mexican restaurant here in Naples...Amigos in South (East) Naples, BUT Uncle Julio's may have taken their place. We started with jalapeño margaritas and the hand made guacamole and that in itself is reason to try this restaurant and then, move it to #1 on your list! There were four of us and try as we might, we couldn't finish off the guacamole. We each took some home and finished it the next day. Because of some of the added ingredients (lime, I think), there was no browning!! Oh, and the chips...fresh, thin, crispy! Main course was yummy. I always order chicken enchiladas verdes no matter where I go...even if it's not on the menu. One of the best ever. The beans and rice are great...I've only had that kind of bean in an authentic Mexican restaurant on the border I visited on a work trip a number of years ago. My husband got the combination and was quite happy. I don't remember what our friends ordered, but they brought us there, so needless to say, they recommend the food, too! read more

If you want authentic Tex Mex this is your place. We moved to Naples 2 years ago from Texas and have been searching for great Tex Mex. We tried the chicken and shrimp fajitas and they are delicious. They were well seasoned and adding the melted butter took it to the next level. It came with warm homemade tortillas, charro beans and all the fixings. So happy they are finally open. What a meal. I got chicken fajitas and my wife got tacos. This is the new gold standard for Mexican restaurants. No one comes close. Every single aspect of our dinner was perfect: fajitas and vegetables cooked to perfection, had one of my wife's tacos - perfect, service was beyond excellent. Wish I could do 10 Stars. Totally disappointed! We go to restaurants for several reasons but #1 is the quality/taste of the food and the entree's were not acceptable! Celebrating my husbands bday, just 2 people, and our order was mixed up. The wrong dinner went back the other was finished before the replacement (correct order) was served. When the steak fajita finally came it was not edible, total rubber. Slow service and mediocre tasting. Barley an apology. Not a good start. Not returning or recommending. We have eaten at Uncle Julio's several times over the past 2 months. Our first visit was exceptional! The food has always been great; however, the past few times we have eaten there, the service has progressively become worse. Our order has been incorrect the last three visits, multiple incorrect orders in one night. We waited over an hour for our food last time and 3 out of the 4 meals were incorrect when finally receiving them. The server always apologizes; however, there has not been a discount or any other type of redemption activity. Considering the price of this restaurant, I would expect better and more attentive service. It's disappointing because our family does enjoy the food. read more

The five of us went to Uncle Julio's in Naples on Monday for a birthday. From the time we stepped into the place it was unfriendly and not welcoming by the hostess team. Two young woman who asked us if we had reservations, we said YES but 75% of the tables were empty at 6:45 pm on Monday, April 17th and that was our reservation time. The young woman said I have no reservation for 5 people but for 4 people. They talked between themselves, looked at their computer. It took so long that we all looked at one another and "said should we go somewhere else"? Then they said we can sit you at a high top. We took the table which was in the bar but all over the restaurant there were tables for 5 all set up and no one sitting there. I even took a picture of the tables empty the entire time we were there. Service was slow, Margueritta's were good, The Guacamole was good made at the table in front of us. We went thru at least 3 baskets of Chips, we were all starving. The food was really nothing to write home about, I had the Pulled Chicken Quesadilla and they were dry. The only item on table that looked good was the shrimp Fajitas. My husband and grandson ordered the Chicken Tortilla Bowl, which was just OK. My son ordered the street tacos, which were regular size tacos, they said they would be smaller. It was clearly a birthday celebration; we had a large birthday bag with us. No one said anything or did anything or even said are you celebrating something. I was clearly disappointed, and I will not go back again. read more

Not Good I would say Horrible. Started when we arrived and we had issues getting sat even though our friends made the reservation. The experience just continued with our food and drink order. The food was warm but not hot clearly it was sitting out for a while. Two of our drinks were incorrect. When we pushed the subject to see a manager a male came over and didn't listen long and then he left and brought back a female manager. She didn't care much and we felt unheard. Our friends saw the small thicker female manager on our way out laughing with other staff at the front and it defiantly felt directed at us. My daughter and I decided to give the place a try. We did not have reservations so we're told it would be a 30 minute wait and we'd receive a text when our table was ready. 40 minutes later I went to the front desk to check - oh yes your table is ready. Why weren't we texted? We ordered food and drinks as soon as our waiter arrived. The table next to us was seated after us and quickly received a huge platter of food. We waited 45 minutes for chicken enchiladas and birria quesadilla. Our waiter was a really nice guy and kept apologizing. Our food arrived and appeared to have been sitting somewhere- it was not hot and the quesadillas had a strange texture. The enchiladas were terrible - dry chicken rolled in a tortilla with cheese on top. Completely flavorless. The manager did comp our food which I appreciate but overall a terrible dining experience. Best Mex/Tex-mex we've had in a long time! Carne Asada was amazing as was the fresh tortillas and delicious salsa.

The establishment itself is interesting and nicely decorated with a friendly and lively atmosphere! We had a limited amount of time and didn't order a lot of items but what we had was very good. I would definitely recommend visiting this place :-) We will be back and will be bringing friends. read more

This restaurant, is run by 20 year olds, who are not trained to be a hostess, or waitresses, or a cooks! They do not have a clue how a restaurant should operate. Nor do they understand the importance of their clients ... We arrive and asked to sit outside and there were many open tables but we were told they have to clean one off ... then the hostess starts talking with the other hostess. One of the waiters come up, and the three of them have a good chat and start laughing... this goes on for 10 minutes as we're standing there waiting for a table! At that point I told my husband we should leave and go somewhere else! He said be patient...we get to the table and place our ... my husband cannot eat sour cream or onions. Our order arrives covered in sour cream and a thick layer of onions. We call a waiter and send the food back to the kitchen however this was a different waiter. So he takes the platter and starts walking around the restaurant with the platter of food ... I am not sure what he was doing. Finally it gets to the kitchen. The platter comes back 3 minutes later. As we look at the food there are drops of sour cream on the platter, but it looks like they've cleaned it off the food or put it on the grill to burn it off and there is still a pile of onions underneath the food. So we Call the waiter again and now my husband is mad ... he cannot eat sour cream and they are trying to trick him and worse lie! If someone has a problem with a certain food or an allergy you cannot just wipe it off and that is ok! My husband lost his appetite and told the waiter to take the food away and he does not want anything further! Then a manager arrives and asks if there's something she can do and my husband said no, so she says, I will take this meal off your bill to which my husband looked at her and said oh really that would be the very least you could do after screwing up my dinner and then trying to cover it up! Worst service ever! They just don't care! We will never go back!!! read more
