Just pull in, suck out the sunflower seeds and French fries from between the seats, and off you go! Don't miss this important tip: AMPM has an app that is worthwhile to use daily. Each day that you drive by an AMPM and "Check-in" via the app, you receive three virtual scratchers. You can scratch away or save them until you need a cup of coffee or soda or just a surprise to brighten your day. I collect scratchers every day just by driving by one at the gym, or starting the app and checking in while driving under an AMPM on the freeway. You do not need to be in the store or even its parking lot for the store to register on the app. For about every 6-9 scratchers, I receive a surprise. Sometimes I win a BOGO or buy one and get something else at a discount, but I usually get completely free items. I can walk into an AMPM, show my app, and walk out with coffee, a hot dog, M&M's, water, and other stuff without spending a dime. It's awesome! But what really frosts me (trying to be polite) are some of the patrons and their lack of courtesy or driving skills or maybe both. So today when I pulled up there were two cars ahead of me and the middle pump was empty... do you think the driver in the first car in line would have pulled his small sedan into that huge space? Nah......he waited until the huge dodgesasorous pickup gulped down a zillion gallons of fuel and left and the last car in the third pump left as well and then he pulled up to the first pump and of course blocked the pass through lane on the left making it difficult for the last car to get out. And thus freeing the last two pumps. Yeah it only added a few minutes to the wait, but he only had a small car and he could have been fueled and gone thus letting the person in the last pump also pull through. I wouldn't of thought anything if he had a huge vehicle or was pulling a trailer, but c'mon, learn to drive. Now a little blame goes to Costco too... the attendant should have asked him pull forward. Afternoon crew is RUDE though. I came in after work today (around 3:30) and both the cashiers were unprofessional. The guy was just sitting at the register so I smiled and said "hello" and brought my 2 items. He looks at me with a blank stare and asks "are you with them?" Gesturing to this woman with a bunch of children running around the entire place. They were grabbing stuff, not even ready to check out yet. I said no and backed up, I was annoyed but it wasn't a super big deal. Like 3 minutes go by and nothings happening. I checked my phone for no more than 30 seconds and now some girl behind the counter is like "HELLOOO?!" I look up and suddenly another register is open. I smile at the new cashier and say hello, she rolls her eyes and ignores me. After the transaction I said thank you and goodbye and this woman continued to act like my existence is bothering her. This type of behavior is unprofessional and unnecessary, even for a gas station.
