They had bartenders trying to wait tables and my experience with that both as a customer and previous server is that these tables are left waiting way too long. Service was very intermittent and we would end up going to the bar the get drinks anyway. Venue is pretty loud with the band playing in such a small space, limited standing room if seats fill. There is a large parking lot for parking.

My husband ordered a small (12in) cheese pizza, and I decided to go with a small (12in) vodka pizza. I love vodka sauce but had never tried it on a pie before, man was it delicious!- Chef's kiss! I was told it would be about 20-25 mins. I drove there 20 minutes later and got into the parking lot. Which could be tight if it is busy. You walk down the stairs to find the pizza restaurant. The restaurant is cute and looks like it is run by a mom and pop. Inside there is seating to eat in. I told the nice girl in the front I was there for a pick up. Unfortunately, I had to wait in the restaurant for another 20-25 minutes. But they look they were busy and only two people was running the kitchen. I got my pizza home and I was pleasantly surprised it was cut in to small squares. The pizza was delicious and has a good sauce to cheese ratio. The wing was a bit saucy for my liking but it was good. I got a large pie and 10 wings which came to about 32 bucks, which was not bad these days. I think I found my new pizza joint, I would just wait a bit longer before going to pick up next time.

The shop looks great after the recent updates under new ownership -- cleaner, brighter, more inviting space. That said, I was really let down on my first visit since the change. The grinder I got for lunch had noticeably less meat than before. What used to be a hearty, well-stacked sandwich with generous layers of cold cuts now felt skimpy on the protein -- probably about half (or less) the amount I was used to. The other components (cheese, veggies, hot sauce) were fine, but the lack of meat made it feel more like a veggie-heavy sub than the satisfying Italian combo I always counted on. Everything else was good -- friendly service, quick prep, fresh ingredients -- so I'm hoping this was just an off day or an adjustment period with the new team. I'd love to see the portions return to their old generous standard, because the foundation here is still strong. 2.5/5 stars from me right now.
