#1 Ahi Tuna and Salmon with salad
    Caroline L.

Needed a quick bite that wasn't a sit down restaurant and poke was a great choice! You can order to go also. Their menu is simple and easy to order from. I chose the #1 Ahi Tuna and Salmon with salad as they ran out of rice an hour before closing. Everything was fresh and delicious! We also got two drinks I think was mango iced tea which was refreshing. I also love the shark logo as a shark fanatic myself!!!

I have been to the Kahala location before but this is the first time we went to the one in International Marketplace. Store is very clean and was empty when we arrived but got very busy shortly afterwards. Workers were super friendly and were very quick to take our order and to make our food. The food was delicious and we were so full, we didn't get to try their dole whip lol. Next time, would come back if in the area.

My husband is in Hawaii for a work trip. He went to this restaurant for dinner yesterday and loved it. He said the environment was small and enjoyable, and that the vibe was fun. He ordered a mango tea and a spicy tuna poke bowl. He said they were both great! If you are looking for a fun environment, and good food, definitely check this place out!

The cashier was friendly, but no watermelon Dole Whip as advertised. I had the choice of mango or pineapple(found anywhere). I got mango, which was so gritty and not creamy at all.

I didn't get poke only taro boba tea. Actually were here looking to get some ice pack or ice in the bag for my gf who's feet got injured while we were in the area. Thank you for the ice! Taro boba tea was pretty good and it wasn't overly sweet. Will come back again for the poke next time.

I was on the phone with them after finding a bug in my bowl and the lady was a completely rude. no sorry only telling me that she could give me a new bowl because she did not see the bug when she made the bowl.

Uncle Sharkiii at the International Market Place in Waikiki is a culinary delight! This delightful spot offers a diverse menu with mouthwatering poke bowls. I really enjoyed the Ahi and salmon, poke bowl . The fish felt fresh and was super flavoured, they gave me a great portion of fish . The bowl was full of extra flavour as they added the sauce both to the bottom and top of the bowl. I had all the toppings and they were all fab. Great quality and service , good portion and reasonable price !

I visited this place with my 11-year-old daughter, and unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience. The space is extremely cramped, and the smell inside was awful -- either like smoke or raw fish, but it made being there really unpleasant. We placed and paid for our order, then waited for over 20 minutes, even though there was only one customer ahead of us. Meanwhile, several people who ordered after us -- some just drinks -- were served before us. The staff seemed to forget about our order entirely. I'm currently in the late stages of pregnancy, and the long wait was physically difficult for me. In most places, pregnant women are given a bit of priority or at least consideration, but that was not the case here. The whole experience ruined our mood, and we seriously considered canceling our order. I wouldn't recommend this place -- poor service, uncomfortable environment, and definitely not somewhere we'd return

The food is outstanding, fresh, variety of options, boba options are phenomenal. Overall excellent. Service was fast and the employees were polite. Ambiance is clean and well put together. Recommend to anyone looking for poke/boba. 10/10.

I don't know who is in charge of promotion and events but there is a disconnect between owners and mall management. International Market place has Uncle Sharkii clearly marked as a participating business for restaurant week. When we got there no one knew what we were talking about. When showing the advertisement the manger said they didn't even have those items in stock. He suggested the kahala location BUT they wouldn't be participating in an international market place event. I found the whole situation lame. I wouldn't return. I will say that the workers were very nice although uninformed.

    The interior of the restaurant!

The service is amazing and the food tastes perfect! first time in and love the vibe as it's very relaxing! The employees are super helpful with all requests and would highly recommend. Jay-Z Is an amazing employee as he was extremely helpful with my complicated order! 10/10

Salmon bowl, take out. That's why it looks a little smashed.

Awesome good value for a custom-made poke bowl in Waikiki. I usually get my poke fix from the grocery store and accompany it with a few sides (e.g. sushi, sea salad, Japanese root veg). But I was curious about Sharkii's so I walked over at around lunchtime. I walked right in with only one guy ahead of me. I was out of there pretty quickly considering it takes a few minutes to place the order and a few minutes for them to make the bowl since there is only two people in the shop, one person taking orders and one person making the bowls. I'm glad there wasn't a line. Yelpers, be sure to check-in for a discount. It's higher than the kamaaina discount.

I stopped by this place after an unexpected disappointment at a different restaurant. I took a chance and ordered an ahi bowl. To my surprise, this was one of the best poke bowls that I've tasted on the go here at Oahu. Kudos to the girl working the counter. She was friendly and did a great job. Don't let the front deceive you. This place is worth it!

And we just can't go here anymore unless changes are made! We used to prefer them over Zippy's, but now they are less than 7-Eleven quality, while charging higher-end prices for the neighborhood. We have given them many chances, hoping it was just a fluke, but we have repeatedly been disappointed. Their chicken has become chewy and fatty, their rice is mediocre, and condiments such as mayonnaise are stripped down to the bare minimum quantity. Chile is poured so lightly that it is practically a minuscule amount. And their prices have continued to rise. I don't know if greedy people took over the restaurant who just don't care anymore, or what is going on. I remember when I used to take people here, and they would be impressed with the quality and quantity--plates just heaping with good cuts of meat, noodles, and rice. Those days are no more. As they say in Japan, the price performance is poor. Furthermore, their staff is rude. I can only imagine it was an owner working this day because it was a face I haven't seen that often. An older gentleman who appeared to be of Okinawan descent, working the cashier register, accosted us because I was privately discussing with my family about splitting different items with them. We were all ordering something, so he wasn't losing any money, but he told us about how prices are double in Waikīkī. First of all, it is rude to interrupt your customers that way. Secondly, we don't go to Waikīkī or care about Waikīkī. What happened to serving the locals? Third, Waikīkī has an assortment of restaurants, prices, and qualities, and they shouldn't be how you base your services. Lastly, I guarantee I could find a better deal in Waikīkī if I wanted to. Next time you're in the area, just go get a $6 bento or a $5 burrito from 7-Eleven next door. I assure you, the price performance and experience will be better. If Rainbow Drive-In is in the business of comparing themselves to other things, let's compare them to 7-Eleven and at least try to be better than them, right? I can get mochiko chicken from 7-Eleven for $6.99 that is similar in portion size and better quality. Meanwhile, they are serving their fatty, dry chicken for $16.75. Highway robbery! And they are not fancy, with their dirty picnic tables and plastic cutlery. They are just a step above a food truck, if that. Save yourself from the hype. They have gone downhill like a landslide. Go elsewhere.

The staff was super nice about it and was able to accommodate us, with only a small request that we be out by 8pm since there was another big party with a reservation coming in. Absolutely reasonable. They sat us right away at three large tables, which gave us plenty of space for food and didn't force us to sit super close together. Menus, waters, plates, napkins, and forks were all brought out immediately, and our waiter was quick to take our order. We started with the prix fixe menu for 8-10 guests and were going to add other items à la carte, but a handful of our group accidentally went to the other Side Street location (make sure your group is all on the same page), so what we ordered ended up being more than enough. We left stuffed and with 5 boxes of food still. Edamame was nice and steamy, and large enough to easily pop the beans out with your mouth. Wish there was a bit more salt though. The farmer's salad had everything going on from citrusy to salty to crispy. Avocado had a little bit of oxidation but the capers, dressing and potato curls provided plenty of reasons to overlook it. The fried rice came in a hefty portion, with sizable pieces of bacon and sausage. The chicken I didn't realize was boneless based on the shape of the deep fry, but it was nice to freely bite into it without worrying about hitting anything with my teeth. Probably a bit too much on fried bits but still good. Pork chops had a better meat to crisp ratio in my opinion, as well as juiciness. They even came with ketchup on the side, which I love as a pairing but don't see much of at restaurants. My favorite meat item was definitely the sizzling boneless kalbi. The presentation on the sizzling plate with a side of kimchi was spectacular, and the meat was full of flavor. We also ordered yakisoba, which wasn't part of the prix fixe. Tasted good but nothing past standard expectations. We let the waiter know we had a 30th birthday at the table, and they brought a couple scoops of vanilla ice cream with a candle, and did a decent job getting the whole room to participate in the singing. It could also be the type of crowd this place attracts, since it seemed that everyone was so friendly and approachable. Thanks to the quick and consistent service, we were out in a little over an hour with no complaints.
