This place has the best coffee but absolutely the worst service. They constantly get my orders wrong and put dairy milk in my lattes which I wouldn't mind if I wasn't severely lactose intolerant. And when I try to tell them it's not soy, everyone is running around and ignoring me when I'm trying to get their attention. read more

This is the best coffee and bagel shop we have found in the capital district. This review is based on 20+ visits to the Clifton Park location (Saratoga is good, Albany not so good) The coffee is excellent and we buy beans to take home to grind and brew. Bagels are always fresh, generous shmeer of cream cheese, and sandwiches are good - breakfast or lunch. Always warm and inviting, if there is a line it moves pretty quickly. Have so far resisted buying the T-shirt with the elemental structure of caffeine, but it is probably just a question if time. Go. Enjoy. Repeat. read more

Customer service has consistently been great, chatty/helpful baristas and people who don't make you feel like you're annoying them when asking questions or asking for additions. Drinks have been good--consistency is sometimes lacking in recipes but they're never bad. Bagels are to die for. The lot of love is great; I add sprouts to mine. Skip the salads if you're ordering to go; nothing special and on the small side. The Thai lemon tea and lavender teas are good. read more

Love the coffee and the food. Their breakfast sandwiches are fantastic! Have gone a few times now. They are clean with friendly people and there's a copy of the newspaper you can borrow in the front. The booths, tables, and chairs are all comfy and there is a bar height counter against the window with electric sockets if you need to plug in your electronics. I have to say I was incredibly unimpressed by the presentation and product at this bagel shop. I've been to the one in Saratoga a couple of times and generally the food is average but, this shop in Clifton Park was terrible quality for the price you're paying. First of all the sausage, egg, and cheese which was just under $6 had barley anything on it. The meat was super thin, as well as, the MICROWAVED egg that was between the stale bagel. Also why don't they have the option of a hard roll? I feel as though that's a pretty reasonable accommodation. The other sandwich we ordered was called the Bulls eye which was $8.20. Again the bagel was stale which made for an unpleasant texture and over all poor taste. I asked to substitute onions for tomatoes and even though it was clearly written on the slip the request was unmet. There were a decent amount of veggies on the sandwich but, barley any meat which is why, I would assume, it cost so much. I mean subway gives you more meat on their subs than this place! I will say that the customer service was great and the atmosphere was desirable but, all in all, I was very unimpressed by the product. This is a terrific addition to Clifton Park! I grew up eating delicious bagels, in and in the suburbs of NYC, and it is been hard to find good ones in the area! My sesame bagel with cream cheese today was great! I also loved my raspberry latte. Will have to work my way through all of the latte flavors! The dessert area looked fantastic. They also sell yogurts which was good for my 2 year old.... the fussiest eater ever! While I had my eye on fancy desserts, I will have to visit again to try them. The walnut chocolate chip cookie and latte were excellent sweet points! Two thumbs up from this chick! Can't wait to go again someday soon! :) Yay! read more

I came here after my car broke down, and my phone was broken so I didn't have it with me (or my credit card). I'd been waiting for over four hours for my car, with no end in sight. I got a pumpernickel bagel with avocado and the mocha energizer smoothie. Both of the baristas on the register were so nice & patient with me giving them my card number, the bagel was the best I've had upstate, and the smoothie was also delicious. They, as well as one of the local patrons, when hearing the situation offered if I needed to use a phone. One of the patrons offered me a ride. It is a little on the pricey side but for the amount of care and effort that goes into making a good experience for everyone, with little touches of good coffee shop music and plants, my experience here made me want to cry after being so down on my luck.
