Came In for the first time this morning. I noticed they have the Freddo espresso and I've always wanted to try it. I regret not trying this place earlier as it is so close to my place. Incredible.. so light and delicious. I had mine done with almond milk (no froth really, which I expected). My boyfriend got the Freddo espresso with the regular milk and it was beautiful and frothy. The service was fantastic and the guys at the bar are so kind. They asked how I like it which is rare to be asked now a days. Highly recommend! Their pastries are fantastic as well! read more

Freddo cappuccino... $4.50 Frothy skim milk over espresso and a sprinkle of cinnamon. I would get it again. My partner had cold brew for $4. Prices are pretty standard. Good customer service- he explained the difference in ingredients of the Greek pastries to me and another guy patiently explained the drink items to me. Plenty of tables indoors and outdoors which makes good for studying. My only complaint is the subway tracks run directly next to this place and is on a busy street so it gets pretty loud from transportation sounds. read more

My partner and I's weekend go to! Their coffee is consistently delicious and their pastries are lovely. We usually both get an iced oat milk latte, and he really enjoyed the chocolate twists. Their match drinks are also very tasty, and would say everything on the menu is delicious! read more

On my way to Frank Sinatra School of the performing arts for a show... but wanted a great coffee. En route spotted this establishment which was buzzing with customers. 2 employees were managing incredibly well the constant influx of customers. My macchiato... perfect. This is just a review for a bean purchase. The beans were on the expensive side, $18 for 12 ounces (the new pound, it seems). Nothing great, ok but meh. It was convenient after a trip to Titan but I don't need to go there again. read more

I know a good americano when i taste one, They say "psychopaths" drink black coffee well I'm f*****g bonkers then. I don't drink coffee unless it's black so my palette is just used to drinking americanos therefore if it sucks i don't drink it, this americano had a perfect blend of consistency and nuttiness to it. The chai matcha latte was pretty good but I'm not a big matcha drinker so don't take my word for it. What changed my life in this experience was the blueberry muffin, wow the perfect blend of butter and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. There is indoor and outdoor seating so i highly recommend going in and doing some work. If you're the kind of person that can't work around train noise it's not for you the yellow line is right above so fair warning! read more

Everything I've had, from the spanakopita (with and without cheese), to the little cheese and tomato wheel, to the almond croissants, has been delicious; this place has the flakiest pastry crust in Astoria. I visited here after brunch with some friends as the place we went to didn't have coffee. This inside is not that big but very sleek. They do have a few outdoor tables which is nice if you want to sit and relax. The barista was friendly and helpful. We went with a matcha latte with oat milk and iced caramel lattes with almond milk. Ordered thru ubereats, one of the staff called and was apologetic that they sold out on muffins and offered me something else. So in addition to giving me the replacement bougatsa, they gave me 2 extra cakes. First time it happened to me in all this time ordering online. The staff was very polite and grateful for my order. I think this is how people should do business. If you care for the customers, they will keep coming back. Also, all the food was very well made. The bougatsa was a little tough to chew but very tasty. I finished the whole thing. The cakes dont taste like your regular boring bakery cake, not overly sweet and had a distinct flavor. The tea is really good too. This place has high quality food and polite staffs. Overall I recommend, probably one of my new fave. read more

Not only am I supporting a local business, but I take pride in serving and drinking coffee roasted a few blocks from me! One of the owners had given me a generous sample of coffee he just roasted after I purchased a bag. I went home right away and brewed it in my V60 drip. I was in coffee HEAVEN. Ordered two drinks and 3 food items. They got one drink wrong (ordered and paid for a chai matcha, realized there was only matcha after sipping on it in the car) and they missed one food item. Everything was put in a bag so we didn't notice. Drove out there on a rainy day after seeing all the positive reviews so definitely was a huge left down. Whole experience felt rushed. Delicious spinach pies and coffee - I've been here about once a week since moving to Astoria a few months ago. I should try some of their other items but the cold brew and spinach pie are SO tasty and consistent. Drove over on a Sunday afternoon, they weren't too busy, probably about 4-6 people inside. Ordered a large ice coffee with simple syrup and milk because they didn't have any available at a counter. Also got a chai matcha latte and 3 baked goods. We went over our order with the guy at the counter. When we got our order, the coffee without milk or syrup, no chai in the matcha latte and when we got home, we found out we were missing an baked item. Won't be back. read more
