If I could give more stars, I would. This project is AMAZING. Like... walk-in-the-house-and-just-stand-there-smiling amazing. It looks SO good!!! We had been going back and forth on paint colors for months. Sampled. Debated. Sampled again. Regretted everything. Nothing felt right after our remodel. Then Martin from Under the Sun Painting randomly came into our lives in the most unexpected way -- he came to buy some stuff we were selling. We noticed the logo on his truck, realized he was a painter, and basically said, "While you're here... want to settle a marital color debate?" Best decision ever. We showed him our favorite color sample, and instead of just saying "looks good," he actually gave thoughtful direction -- same color but muted for the main walls, slightly darker for the accent walls. Genius. It gave us exactly the depth and contrast we were missing without overpowering the space. And the craftsmanship? So good. His son absolutely nailed (literally) the trim work -- pounding in nails, filling gaps, paying attention to the details that most people rush through. Clean lines. Crisp edges. No shortcuts. Also -- they protected EVERYTHING. Floors fully covered. Furniture wrapped and safe. Not a drop, not a scuff, not a "we'll wipe that later." They treated our home like it was their own. Super great job. Truly. And I am deeply, emotionally in love with the fact that this remodel is FINALLY DONE. We are officially completed (14 months later). Someone cue the confetti. Martin was very much available when we figured out the challenging job of picking colors; he came by more than once to help us review our choices and to show us how they would look on the house. They took their time prepping the house with several team members to make sure the house was set to paint. They even suggested some good repairs that helped the house really pop when it was complete. Our house was really needing this for some time and we feel we got a really good paint job for a good price. This was the second company we contacted for painting and as soon as we met the owner for the walk-through and received the quote, we knew this was the company we would be doing business with. All I can say is WoW!! My husband and I purchased our home a year ago. I have been researching several home painters and stucco repair companies. I chose Under The Sun Painting because of a few reviews that I read and wanted a local company. They gave us the best estimate about 8 months ago. They are insured and bonded and also have workers compensation insurance. We finally made the decision to hire them and we called a few weeks ago and we were scheduled for Nov 5. They even kept the price of the estimate from almost a year ago which amazed us. They just finished repairing our stucco, painting entire 1540 sf home, and priming and staining our shingle siding. They came on scheduled days and "on time". They cleaned up daily and the communication with customer service and the owner was great. They responded same day and within hours. We had Under the Sun remove our popcorn ceilings and re-texture them several years ago and were extremely pleased with the results. When it came time to paint the exterior of our house we didn't hesitate to call them for an estimate. Their estimate came in lower than what we had budgeted, and since we knew their work we didn't hesitate hiring them. Martin was extremely helpful with choosing colors (3 different ones) and suggesting some trim options.
