Mixed reviews are to be expected. Be glad if you were someone fortunate enough to give him a 5 star…read morerating. Sorry for those who didn't have such a great experience. I got lucky and avoided additional contact with Robert after his initial assessment of my black tank issue and then getting his exorbitant quote, so my 1 star rating isn't based on workmanship but simply his poor work ethic. He's a nice enough guy. Maybe that plays well into the use of his unfavorable tactics. He wanted to charge $891 just for the tank that he said was leaking. The next day he said I better act quickly as there were only 1 or 2 tanks left and if I didn't grab one the price would go up since it would have to be specially built. I ended up getting the tank through Heartland for $160 and then hired a reputable tech for removal of the old tank and installation of the new. Just based on the capacity of the tank Robert planned to get I question if it would've been correct as it wasn't even close to what I got from Heartland that was customized to match the existing plumbing on my RV. Not only that, the tech doing the job couldn't find a leak! So now I'm out $326 because the tank can't be returned-a small price to pay compared to how much he wanted to rip me off for. Heartland said the job should take about 10 hours. Robert wanted $2400 for labor. You do the math and then tell me whether or not I'm crazy to think that's a tad on the high side. I showed interest in a new hot water heater. I won't even go into the details of that encounter. Suffice it to say that he was going to charge $1480 for the unit but labor would be free since one person could install that while the other worked on the tank. Heartland wanted $868 for a h/w heater. Talk about price gouging. He stood to gain around $1700 just by overcharging for two items. Of course he didn't have to charge labor for that! This guy will take your money however he can get it! I can't say don't use him. Obviously some people are very happy, but do your homework and don't give him an unreasonable amount of money upfront. He wanted me to just hand over $1335 for parts. After seeing his reviews and reading the complaints filed against him at the BBB I'd be very reluctant to do that for fear I'd never see him again.

DO NOT USE THIS MAN FOR REPAIRS OR RV PURCHASING!!!!!! Would give less stars if I could. "Nick"…read morescammed me and then tried to gaslight me into believing it was my fault that he sold me a trailer that had known NON COSMETIC issues. I bought a trailer, drove up to take a look at it, was told MULTIPLE TIMES "it only had cosmetic issues" and I was sure to clarify this was the case. Of course he lied, brought it to where it's supposed to be hooked up and spent over $2,500.00 to park it, hooked it up, there's a massive leak with the kitchen sink, MAJOR water damage which revealed a soft spot after it was exposed / once it flooded for a few hours. When I looked at the trailer I noticed the cabinets had started to swell at the base and they seemed very moist, he assured me AGAIN That there was no water damage LMFAO, bullshit. But I believed him, which was dumb on my part, but he confidently told me he and the professional he uses inspected it. I naively believed him thinking he wasn't a liar. It clearly had been inspected recently and that leak was probably noticed when the cabinets swelled. Apart from that there are exposed wires, the AC / furnace and thermostat doesn't work, several windows don't operate fully, there is horrible rodent issue (this is old, not recent) spent $9,500.00 on the trailer (negotiated from $10,900) then spent another $2,500 to park it where I'm staying for work, about $1,500 for an inspector and mechanic, and am about to spend another couple thousand to have everything thoroughly inspected and quoted for repairs that way I have enough documentation to drag this man to small claims court and be reimbursed for every penny spent on this trailer as well as what was spent after to discover these issues because this is absolute BS. Moral of the story -- this sale is going to cost him money, all he had to do was be honest. Oh also... He tried to claim that he offered numerous times to help me out or to work with me when that is not the case. Our entire text chain is him denying that he did anything wrong and denying that there are any issues which is just wild. This guy is smart. He knows exactly what he's doing And he thinks he's being smart by not admitting to fault through text. The thing is when you post an ad stating that this trailer has no issues, is ready to go, has only cosmetic damage etc... and the trailer has a history / maintenance record that says otherwise -- That was your first mistake. Pro tip- just be honest. Don't confidently scam people who are just looking to buy a trailer. If the trailer has issues, disclose them!

If I could, I would give this business 0 out of 5 stars…read more The customer service is extremely rude, especially the maintenance technician with tattoos on his head and arms. When I purchased my trailer, the salesperson told us we could record the walkthrough while the technician explained how everything worked on our new RV. When the technician arrived, I started recording the RV so I could remember how everything operated. I had no intention of recording him personally or showing his face. However, he immediately responded in a rude manner, saying, "You can't record me." Less than a week after purchasing the trailer, the door stopped latching from the inside. Since it was under warranty, I called and scheduled a service appointment. On the day of the appointment, I spoke with the service advisor, who instructed me to back the trailer up so they could inspect it. As I was doing that, the maintenance technician (Moses) started yelling aggressively, saying, "What are you doing? No, no, no! Don't back up that way!" I stayed calm, parked where instructed, and explained the issue. After confirming that the door would not latch, he grabbed his tools and began working on it. While making the repair, he repeatedly slammed the door aggressively and handled everything with a very poor attitude. Concerned by his behavior, I started recording so I would have documentation to report the incident. As soon as he realized I was recording, he became even more aggressive, yelling, "Are you recording me? What the f** are you recording me for?"* His behavior was completely unprofessional and intimidating. There are a few employees there who are friendly, but the majority of the staff I dealt with were rude and disrespectful. In conclusion, they treated us very well while we were negotiating and purchasing the RV. However, the moment we returned for a warranty repair, they treated us like we were an inconvenience. It felt like dealing with a completely different company. I highly, highly do NOT recommend this place. I truly regret buying my RV from this company, and I would encourage others to shop elsewhere.
