Uneven pant hem that I paid $72 for

We were told items would be ready to pick up next Saturday, giving them a week to hem 2 pants and 1 shirt and replace a button. We arrived on Saturday morning and were told to come back an hour later. An hour later, we came back and the woman had our items to the side. She also had our contact number and could have called us to let us know the items were ready. The pants hem are not even. The fabric was cut so it can't be fixed. We weren't told the price until we picked up the items. We're so disappointed with this place. It's obvious they did a rush job the day they said our items would be ready. We paid $72 dollars. Don't go here. I'm surprised with all their positive reviews. The thread isn't even the same color. She ruined my pants.

    Excellent stitching on delicate fabric

Then more people came in and were helped, so we waited. And more, so we waited. When we asked how much longer it would be until we were helped, we were given a seat at a table to review suit/tuxedo offerings. Another customer tried to speak up for us and let her know we were waiting. More people came in and were helped, and we waited. We asked a couple more times when we would be helped. After an hour of waiting, we left. I think I counted 15 groups that came in while we waited - all young women getting alterations done and one young man ordering accessories. My son uses a wheelchair and we were there to rent a full tux. I don't know why we weren't helped, but it's hard not to believe the neglect was due to his multiple disabilities. This was a very disappointing and disheartening experience. I'm glad so many people have had great experiences, but if you're disabled I would recommend going somewhere else. And maybe if you're able-bodied, please consider supporting other businesses that don't discriminate. The owner did allow my son to use the bathroom while we waited, which we really appreciated. Outside of that, it was a pretty bad experience.

She made assumptions, saying that I knew what I was doing - which she repeated over and over. I asked what I could do to make things right, to which she said there was nothing. She started listing all of her expenses as a business owner, and kept accusing me. As I went to buy the pattern and book I had chosen, which I could have got elsewhere for half the price at least - she said "you don't need to do that." It made absolutely no sense. She said "Thank you for bringing to my attention that I need a sign not to take pictures." She also told me I should tell everyone about what happened, so I suppose she will be glad that I am writing this review. So if you dare venture inside, look for the sign and think of me at Laci's!

I told her I needed…read moreclothes for a 3-day wedding event in India, but I had no idea what to wear, and I didn't know what my size was for Indian-style clothes. She sized me up with a quick glance and showed me the sections where I could find different styles in my size at different price points. My sister was with me and we started going through the racks and oooohing and aaaaahing at the variety of outfits. The lady brought over a mustard outfit that included a sleeveless kurta, matching linen leggings, and dupatta (shawl-like scarf). I was slightly hesitant to try it on because it wasn't my style but i decided to trust their suggestion since it's their interest to style their clients. I was unprepared and didn't have any formal shoes/heels but they had a pair in their dressing room, which fit me. I slipped into the tunic and leggings and they fit perfectly! I walked out to show my sister and she and i were both wowed by the outfit. Another sales lady came over and said it looked great on me. They gave me another outfit to try on, a salmon pink gharara suit. The kurta has 3/4 sleeves and gorgeous beading with lattice-shaped cutout design at the hem of the tunic and matching pants that flare out at the knees with a sheer stole. The pants are long on me, I'm 5'1" and even with heels on the pants are floor-length, but I immediately fall in love with the outfit. The pants are a little loose but they were able to fix it in the store while I tried on another outfit. The elaborate detail on the tunic is absolutely gorgeous. The last outfit is a navy blue embroidered sleeveless anarkali floor-length gown with leggings and dupatta. The deep navy is accentuated with gold thread and embroidery. Again, not my style but once I put it on, it felt perfect. Before I walked out, I picked out bangles, and jewelry sets to go with each outfit. I was all set for the wedding and I couldn't have been happier with the styles they recommended. The only items I had a problem with were the navy blue bangles, which left green markings on my arm - a minor complaint in an otherwise beautiful outfit. I saw the other comments about this business but I had a great experience with their service, attention, and selection. I walked away loving the dresses and jewelry. At the wedding, I received a lot of compliments from other guests and they all asked where I purchased my clothes.

I sent Rada a frantic note to see if there was any way she could help me with that, acknowledging the very short time frame. In just two days, she had my ring cleaned, the band was repolished, and returned to me looking better than ever. And she did this all for no charge!!
