My son is entering the Fire Academy and made the mistake of going to another uniform supply company in Escondido. With 7 weeks lead way, they completely dropped the ball and he was faced with the possibility of not being able to start the Academy due to their inability to provide the necessary items. Quick stop in to look for some uniforms for a film. They appears to have a great selection of Medical and Hospital type garb (as there is a major medical center 1 block from here, I guess that makes sense). Don't shop here. Way over-priced. Very poor service, especially very rude lady in the back of the store (she seemed like the owner). Looking at other reviews, I am thinking maybe the owner changed a few years ago. This place tried to sell me 2 short pieces of linen (less than 1 yard for both) that goes on my school uniform for $7. I asked her (owner lady) how much is the whole packet of tape and she said, "Why don't you find out for yourself?" and she refused to sell the packet of tape. I walked out with my uniform and went to Walmart. Walmart was selling the whole packet of the same tape (4 yard) for less than $2. This place obviously doesn't want customers to come back. I come here about once or twice a year when I need something for my uniform, and I've been coming back for three years now. I'm not sure what the prices are for uniforms because I get them through the agency I work for, but accessories are not too pricey in my opinion (usually I just get button extenders or something for my belt). For the footwear I just go to a different store (those can be a little upscale here). Nahid is usually there and is very helpful (she's usually up in the front of the store). The ordering time for uniforms is quite speedy and tailoring takes a few days depending on the amount of orders they already have. There are a ton of patches for agencies, pants, work shirts, scrubs, footwear, and even accessories for first responders to purchase. read more

I have only been here a few times. Some asian/mexican lady that works there, owner or employee is really rude. Gives attitude when it requires her to work. Second time I went in there for just a hat, she asked if I was only taking 1 and smirked when I told her yes. Don't know why I would need more then 1 hat but she must know. I ordered a custom item & Nahid placed my order with the manufacturer. Even though a color diagram was submitted to the manufacturer with the order, the item delivered did not match the diagram. Nahid contacted the manufacturer & they refused to take liability for the error. Nahid had to ship the item back & pay for the change & shipping. When I finally picked up the new item, it was perfect. I offered to help Nahid with the cost, but she refused. oh my gosh, I was reluctant to go here based on the other Yelp reviews and was so glad that I did. The gals there could not possible be more helpful they were great. My needs for my uniforms were met as I needed help knowing which is which and what goes with what. They had the knowledge to help me in my trade! The hems were done very fast, not the same day, but I totally expected to wait a few days for my order to get all finished! The sales person, (might have been the owner), was very friendly and super helpful. I described what I was looking for and she went straight to the rack and picked it right out.
