Delicious brunch menu with well made drinks. We enjoyed the green veggie omelet & skillet cornbread benedict. The service is friendly & the ambiance is industrial & laidback.

Wow. Our experience here was great. The food was very good. We tried the Honey Roasted Fig flatbread and the Executive burger and both were delicious. The fries and bacon from The Executive Burger, and the goat cheese and balsamic from the Honey Roasted Fig flatbread were my personal favorite touches. I found that the figs on the flatbread tasted refrigerated unfortunately. Our server, Brooke S, treated us very kindly and was quick on refills. We came at a slow time in the day, 15:00 on a Friday, but regardless, the ambiance is fun, comfortable, and the restaurant is comfortable and beautifully designed in an elevated rustic manner.

Come here for the vibes not the food~ it was such a cute place near the beach, I sat next to the open windows and the fresh air was so nice with the games on the bar TVs. The food was decent but not great. The autumn salad was nice and refreshing but flatbreads were lacking. The honey roasted fig flatbread sounded so good but was such an odd flavor we couldn't take more than two bites; thankfully they have great service and swapped it out for the mushroom arugula flatbread instead which was much better but still not of the better ones I've tried. Short rib fries were so flavorful and delicious - they are more of a poutine which I loved, but my partner did not. Overall would recommend the salad and short rib fries but maybe avoid the flatbreads unfortunately!

Great ambiance and good food! I came here with my family for my dad's birthday recently. I ordered the honey roasted fig flatbread. It was good, but the fries my sister ordered were delicious. Our server was nice and even brought out a little chocolate cake to celebrate my dad's birthday.

This spot is definitely going to be a go to brunch spot when in the area. The Christmas vibes were super cute gave it such a warm and welcoming ambiance. Service and food were great! Would highly recommend it if you're in the area. Has a bunch of seating inside and outside.

Tonight I got the Moroccan quinoa salad. It was fantastic!! I got it with dressing on the side, which was perfect because I could go lighter on the dressing. Next time I might add additional shrimp (I like a lot of shrimp) and I'll get it with no fried garbanzo beans to make it lower calorie. Louise our server was fantastic: friendly and helpful! Perfect meal

Love the atmosphere and vibe of this restaurant. Food was delicious and satisfying. Tgey have a great menu; evetything sounding good! We had great service! The only negative was the long wait for food. But... the food was definitely worth the wait. Next time we are in the area, we will come back!

Place was large and they had Halloween decorations up which made it feel festive. We were there on Friday so they had live music (ad toppers say live music 8-11p but went until 10p), the guitarist was really good. Menu had a good variety, we ordered the executive burger and a Moroccan bowl, both were tasty. Our server was good, only thing to call out is the bussers were fast to pick up plates when we're still eating, should ask before taking away plates and drinks.

Blending coastal charm with a lively, beach-adjacent atmosphere, this spot feels like Encinitas at its best. For all the time I've spent in this town, I have no idea how I'd never stopped by before. The vibe is fun and open, with comfortable seating and fire pits that make the outdoor space especially inviting. The food leans into elevated comfort, familiar but done with real care. We ended up here on Thanksgiving and were so grateful they were open, as most Encinitas was not. We decided to try the special Thanksgiving dinner, and it was fabulous. The roasted turkey was moist, the homemade gravy rich and decadent, and the cranberry purée struck that perfect balance of sweet, tart, and citrusy. The roasted Brussels sprouts were cooked beautifully, but the standout was the jalapeño cornbread stuffing, so flavorful and unforgettable. I'm already planning to return after the holidays, and the Executive Burger has my full attention: brie, cowboy bacon, roasted mushrooms and garlic hummus, avocado, all on a pretzel bun. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who worked on one of the busiest holidays of the year. We're truly grateful you opened your doors for us on Thanksgiving.

A solid spot in Encinitas with good drinks and food and fun vibes for sports and the occasional live music option! We have been coming here for years and this place has consistently been good and one of our go to's - I *love* the purple haze cocktail and their shrimp and grits and burger options are consistently in my rotation (both of which are/can be gluten free with the bun swapped for GF). They also do a fun shot on the brunch menu with bacon & OJ that tastes like a full breakfast (just try it, trust me!). Staff is friendly and professional and this is overall a great stop in downtown Encinitas!

We came here last year for a birthday dinner hosted by high West and we got a nice taste of a sampling menu finger chef which was really awesome. What a cool event and an introduction in this restaurant now a year later it's a go to brunch spot for us. We love walking around and seeing Encinitas on the weekend mornings with our dog we end our morning walks here right around when they open. Their patio is super dog friendly, and everybody is really kind. One of the waitresses usually comes by in the mornings with little pieces of bacon for all of the dog sitting out on the patio, which I really love The food Here is also phenomenal. Steak and eggs is my go to breakfast with the mustard Hollandaise as a great touch. My husband loves their cornbread skillet with andouille sausage. If we come with multiple people we usually get a sticky bun for the table as well. They serve cafe moto coffee which I think is the best coffee in San Diego so I appreciate that. I can't wait to come back for dinner as well this place is so cute and I love their back semi covered patio as my husband is a ginger and would perish in the sun lol.

Solid spot with large patio. Great place to grab a drink for reasonable prices, but the food menu was definitely on the pricey side for what it was. Nothing tasted bad, just standard salty bar restaurant food. Service was hit or miss, some were friendly and attentive, others seemed bored to be there.

It's a solid neighborhood restaurant, but it didn't quite live up to the hype for me. We ordered two pizzas: a gluten-free Margherita and a regular Margherita. One thing that immediately stood out was how similar the two crusts tasted. Both had a comparable level of chewiness, which was surprising given that one was gluten-free. The gluten-free crust lacked some of the wheaty, earthy flavor you'd expect from a traditional dough, but overall I was genuinely impressed by its texture and quality. It's one of the better gluten-free pizza crusts I've had. The pizzas are Neapolitan-style and generally enjoyable. The dough itself is well made, though I would have preferred a bit more chew and structure to take it to the next level. My biggest criticisms are the sauce and cheese. The sauce was applied too sparingly, leaving the pizza without enough moisture or cohesion to tie the different components together. More importantly, the flavor felt one-dimensional--mostly salty, without the rich tomato sweetness, depth, and complexity that make a great Neapolitan pizza memorable. But I want to be fair. Judging from the photos posted by other Yelpers, some of the pizzas shown have a good amount of pizza sauce. I need to try the food again and update my review. As for the cheese, the fresh mozzarella on the Margherita didn't quite meet expectations. The slices had a firmer texture than I typically associate with fresh mozzarella and lacked some of the soft, creamy moisture that helps create that signature melt. The flavor was also milder than expected; instead of delivering a pronounced milky richness, it tasted somewhat diluted. This may be a minor criticism, but on a simple pizza like a Margherita, where every ingredient is on display, these details become much more noticeable. Overall, Buona Forchetta serves a respectable Neapolitan-style pizza, and its gluten-free option is particularly impressive. However, the underwhelming sauce and mozzarella kept the pizzas from reaching the level I was expecting given the enthusiastic recommendations.

Their "Happy Hour," which had no information anywhere on their website, is just $3 off wine & beer and virtually no food. Makes sense why they don't promote it. I had assumed that Happy Hour included a separate menu with appetizers, maybe even discounted apps, as most Happy Hours do. Yet, to my surprise, their Happy Hour offerings were just 4 of their full-priced starters- Meatballs, Burrata, Caesar Salad and Twice Cooked Fries. The rest of the menu was unavailable until 4:30pm. Yet, when I ordered the meatballs, they were out. So just 3 food items total available to order. Everything was painfully mediocre (decent burrata, soggy fries and a basic caesar salad) for the $15+ price tag per item. Also, their wine by the glass was SO PRICEY. Even after the happy hour discount, it was about 16+ per glass. For a Deli, really?? Our final bill was $88 for 3 apps, and 2 glasses of wine. They seriously need to get their act together and choose a lane, because you can't be serving essentially no food for Happy Hour, pricing items that high and expect to stay in business. And the ambiance too is lacking. We were eating essentially in a parking lot out of their "patio." The only redeeming thing about our experience was the service from our Waitress, Jess. She was incredibly attentive and friendly.

They were clearly short staffed on Father's Day, so I allowed for that. However, when you're sitting there forever and 3 wait staff are going by you several times and can't even say "someone will be with you shortly ".....not a word. Funny thing is the patios were fairly empty. We would have left, but again we've loved the food here for 14 years so hung in there. Then big mistake was sitting across from the pizza oven! The hostess, who I have to say is an amazing employee, she was literally doing everything. Seating people, cleaning tables, answering the phone, cleaning the stuff off the pizza area, bringing clean pans, getting drinks, etc. BUT she was using those nasty old rags to clean the table, touching the cash register etc., never washed her hands and then she was grabbing handfuls of the fresh basil and ripping pieces and putting them on the pizza, then posting the pizza with her fingers to maybe check it wasn't burned on the bottom? I was literally dying watching this, I'm not even a germaphobe. Then I watched the other waiter who wears dirty baggy jeans wipe his hands in his pants and also manhandle the basil in the same way. So gross. I saw another party get mad because the pizza was not cut, they asked for it to be cut again....and then got angry because they still had to tear at it and everything fell off. When our pizza came....it was the same, but we dealt with it. We ALWAYS get the Butterscotch pudding, but at this point we just wanted out. Had to wait forever to ask for a box and check. I'll miss the old Blue Ribbon as I miss Craftsman sadly, but there are others with actual service, we gave them a chance the last time it was bad, but this is the 2nd and done!

And our server was fantastic. So why, you might ask, only 4 stars in my review. Two reasons: 1). Management has prohibited giving a splash of a beer for someone to sample. Bottom line is that I wanted to order a pint of beer, but I wanted a splash of a couple of beers to try to make my decision. They refused, saying that one must buy a 5oz taster if one wants to taste the beer. I find that policy offensive. In the end I bought a taster to taste the Chuuurch, and then bought an additional pint after. It just seems nickel and dimey, and would be asking to an ice cream place not allowing one to sample their ice creams before buying a cone. I hope management reconsiders this policy. 2. My wife got the Hot Mess Fries and was disappointed not only in the flavor, but also in the misleading advertising. On the menu it specifically said that there was bacon in the fries, but in fact what they put on the fries was either chunks of ham or "Canadian bacon" (which as we all know is a very different thing from "bacon"). If they were or of regular bacon, the kitchen should have told the server this so he could have asked her if she wanted ham as a substitute. And, of they always use ham instead of bacon, them the menu needs to be changed to reflect that.
