Bar closes at 10pm, arrived at 8:45pm. Proceeded to get served rather quickly, had same drink twice. 2nd time, different bartender made the drink, not the same or nearly as good. No consistency. Finished drinks at 9:45 while bar was closing up. Multiple bar staff starting the cleaning process but ignoring customers waiting to close out tabs. Bar staff pouring their own drinks and drinks for other staff and sitting down at opposite end of bar without closing out tabs. Finally checked on around 10:20 asking how we are doing but still no mention of closing out. Nice bar but terrible sense of awareness. Jon Taffer would not approve! read more

Best fish and chips in Durango. It's their Port and Pasture food truck and they're open in the winter too! Most enjoyable in the summer months for sitting outside and listening to live music. Bar and seating are also inside Union Social. read more

Great drinks and great atmosphere. This is a venue that serves wine/beer/cocktails and then has 2-3 food trucks permanently installed in their back patio. We visited on the evening of July 4th and had a couple rounds of well-made margaritas from a very friendly if overworked single bartender and then ventured out to their food trucks. The place that served pizza and burgers was closed to for the 4th so they had a food truck that served fish and chips and one that served Himalayan food. My husband had the fish and chips, I had the Himalayan dumplings and my son had an order of French fries because he wasn't a big fan of either (picky kid families be warned). Everything was delicious. One star detracted because they have no AC so it was over 80 Degrees indoors. Cool place with great atmosphere though... wouldn't hesitate to visit in the fall or spring without the kid in tow. read more

This is a great place! A few months ago, I saw "dumplings" pop up in north Durango, but then I couldn't find them again. I was eating at Sage across the street (also great), and I noticed the sign in front of the union Social House that said "Himalayan Dumplings," so I stopped in to try them. The place was hopping, lots of people inside at the bar, and outside on the patio, and there were three food trucks, on of which is "Sherpa Momo Ghar." I had the chicken Momo in soup (the eponymous Momo Ghar), and while I was waiting for my order, I went inside and ordered a local beer, then went back outside to eat. The dumplings were delicious, like a variation of potstickers, and the soup was nice and sour and flavorful. Both went well with the beer, a Ska True Blond. I plan on visiting many times this summer! read more

Lots of outdoor seating with some games to play. Loved the dart throwing area. Drinks were great!

For eclectic tasty bites and great craft cocktails- definitely hit this great spot. Casual- you order out back from one (or all!) of the 3 food trucks and then get yourself a cocktail! It is all DELICIOUS. Some if the best dumplings I have ever had and the pizza was some of the best i have ever had. It was our first time there so we had a million questions and the bartender couldn't have been kinder. The owners of the food trucks are also clearly talented chefs who take great pride in their craft!! read more

This place has been open for 1 year. Survived Covid. I found the service to be fast, friendly and attentive. The ladies tending bar were on it. I even asked if they could make me a bloody mary! (See previous review!) I ordered food from the Backcountry Gourmet in the bar. Had a bacon cheeseburger slider and a crab cake slider. Both were delicious and service was friendly fast and efficient. I give this establishment and employees a hearty thumbs up. read more

I love this place! We met friends here last minute and sat outside on the lovely back patio and had the best time. Amazing pizza, Himalayan food and live Music by Kirk James. Hungry visitors to Durango, we were looking for a drink and some food. Union Social House was convenient to our hotel, so we drove over. The moment I walked in I was welcomed by Brian. I asked if they served food as well as drink and he said they did. Then he said "let me show you around". He proceeded to explain that the food is ordered and paid for in the back and the drink was served in the front. We ordered the bbq bacon cheeseburger sliders (OMGJ and an order of truffle fries (OMG OMGJ. We proceeded to a table where Brian took our drink orders. My partner ordered wine and I ordered an Old Fashioned. It was the best Old Fashioned I've had outside of Wisconsin. And I'm picky about my Old Fashions. Again, Brian was at our table to make sure all was well and to see if we needed anything. Bottom line: the food is awesome, the drink superb. The service is the best. The food was the best we had in Durango. Don't miss this place. You'll love it. read more

Went here on a whim. We were staying on the North side of town and so glad we stopped in. Didn't have a reservation and sat at bar. Drinks are reasonably priced -the cocktails are delicious. Bartenders and staff are friendly. Love that you can order food from Back Country Gourmet which is inside the bar, easily. Good food, great atmosphere and drinks. Would return. read more

Great space, great drinks. Service very spotty. Food truck is a train wreck. They were out of every food item we ordered. The alternatives we ordered were a burger (burned AF) and a veggie burger (chef substituted something else for the veggie burger without letting us know bc he "didn't like the way the veggie burger looked.") We were there at opening, so def no reason to be out of everything. Asked repeatedly for the check. Fries were delicious, but don't order the chimichurri fries- pretty sure that chimichurri was way past the sell-by date. read more

We were in town for family gathering and stumbled upon this place which ended up being a highlight of the trip! Patio layout was awesome with great live (laid back) music and really good food. Owner was very engaging and service and food were both great. Not near downtown area so dumb luck to happen to find it. Looking for it will prove worthwhile :) read more

Drinks were great, but customer service at the bar was a solid no. My mother asked for a Bloody Mary/Maria and immediately he cut her off with "I can't do that for you, it won't work. All I have is the base for a Bloody Mary." He proceeded to pull out Bloody Mary mix... which is all you need plus some alcohol. He was extremely rude and continued to shake his head and say over and over that he just couldn't do it. I never knew someone could be put so out of place over asking for a very common drink. What an amazing place! We had our 30th high school reunion there and it was so fun. Great drinks, great service and the space was set up for a large group to move around and connect with each other. We had a blast!! Carol is an amazing host. She is always available and accommodating. We had the indoor and outdoor space that works great when the weather is unpredictable. We couldn't have had a better venue. Every nook and corner was thoughtful and comfortable. The fire pit reminded me of my hometown when we grew up here. Intimate and comfortable. I highly recommend you go with one friend or 50 friends and you'll have a blast. read more
