Bad customer service! I bought a Heattech top but after many wearings two mysterious spots appeared on the shirt. On closer examination it was easy to see one layer of the double weave fabric had disappeared. Strange right ? So I took to the Pleasanton store and the "manager" agreed it was defective and offered a rebate of $1.57 ! He said it was a 2015 product. I went to the heattech rack, brought him the same color and style (also 2015) that was on sale for $9.90 and asked why I was NOT being given a credit for the $9.90? His answer was only the $1.57. Poor customer service. I have spent over a thousand dollars in this store in the past 8 months. Generally the products are great but customer service is poor. I am going to write corporate. I've had such a good experience at this store this evening. Looking for polo shirts, Matt recommended me to their discounted polos from a seasonal line. I've left spending only $19 for three polos, saving over $50 if I had bought them at their original price. I might add that this location is pristine, efficient, and, a very good brand representation of Uniqlo and their mission. read more

So I totally love Uniqlo and their nice, practical clothing. This store in particular is a very fine example of what Uniqlo has to offer. The associates, especially the one with curly hair and glasses who tends to wear flannel almost every time I go there, are really friendly and courteous. This associate in particular is very fast and gets things done. The prices are reasonable, the sales are all right, and the store is clean and spacious. It's also not that compared to other locations. I will certainly return to this Uniqlo location in the future. read more

My family and I have been shopping here for quite some time now. We absolutely love wearing the Heatech clothing, the parka jackets (water resistant), leggings, sweaters, and puffer vests. Pretty much anything you purchase there, you won't be disappointed. All reasonably priced for decent quality. Just this past week, my son's parka zipper came off. I tried repairing myself, but didn't have the proper tools to do it. I bought it a couple of months ago and no longer had the receipt. Thought I'd give it a try to see if I can return it. Sure enough, without any problems, I was able to get a brand new one! The great customer service prompted me to write an awesome review. Clothes quality - much better than H&M. I love to see basic clothes in good quality. Customer service - cashers are ok. What about the guy at fitting room. No smile, hardly talk. The guy in H&M at least smiles. read more

I just purchased something at your store right now but it was too big so I called that 1-877 no. to talk to someone if I can exchange & put something on hold..But the operator said or dispatch that I cannot do it over the phone. I have to physically go to the store & do an exchange... Well, I hope you still have that children's size 5-6 in pink that I need because it was the last one on Sale on that rack!!! I feel like the employees in this location are dull and unfriendly. This review has nothing to do with the quality of clothing but just the service at this location. I'm a frequent shopper of their denim. I have over a dozen pair of the jeans. When this location first opened you would be able to buy a pair of jeans and have them altered within an hour. Today the gal behind the counter said in her own words "our alterations normally take a couple hours but we won't have your jeans ready for 4 days. " I get stores get backed up and busy, but that is not an excuse to push a jean alteration 4 days. I ended up leaving and not buying the jeans I really needed because I wouldn't be able to pick it up during the week. I even asked if it could be done in the next day and was promptly rejected. Way to lose a long time customer, I'll just try Walnut Creek. read more

Extremely poor customer service and staff needs to be trained. Due to a cashiers mistake, I am out $150 for gift card purchases that were supposed to be voided! The store manager said he is not authorized to give me a credit back for their mistake, so I have to wait for the Accounting depot to get back to me with their credit approval. It's been 3 days already with no response. I used to like shopping here, but never will again. The customer is NOT priority here. read more

I am a really big fan of Uniqlo, especially it's customer service. I like walking in the store and feeling like I'm in Japan because of the friendly and polite demeanor of the staff.I went there several times after its grand opening and during the holidays; and I really liked the staff's customer service. However, when I entered the store this morning, no one greeted us or said hello as before. An employee looked up at us from folding clothes, made eye contact with me, then looked back down at what he was doing even though I smiled. It would have been nice if he acknowledged us. I usually wouldn't care if it were any other store, but I thought Uniqlo prided itself on its Japanese-style customer service and work ethic. Afterwards, I went to the GAP, and to my pleasant surprise, 3 employees said hello to me. Any way, I still love Uniqlo's products and pricing. The store is clean and well organized. But I'll probably just do more shopping online. read more

It was very hard for me to decivde on how many stars to give Uniqlo at this location. The clothing is good quality and the prices are very reasonable. However, that can be said of all Uniqlo locations. This location just opened this year. While I've been to several Uniqlo in Asia and the US, the service at other locations was much better this one. It seems that a lot of the staff do not know what is going on. I could even get a straight answer as to what time they will open or what their return policy is for holiday shopping. I like Uniqlo as a brand and the workmanship of their clothing, but I see that we will have to wait a few more months for the staff to be trained properly to be at par with other Uniqlo stores... read more

Awesome music, pretty relaxing but not typical. Found the cream pants pants I had been trying to find in every other store. High prices unless you get things on sale though. But the quality, as a shrewd shopper, is worth the medium ish price. (30-40 dollars typically). Clearance/sale price is a steal for 5-10 dollars. Awesome staff, very helpful. read more

I've been a Uniqlo fan for a long time - it's basics, but a good price for good quality. However, I feel the quality of their clothes is continually degrading. Their selvedge jeans seemed like a great deal, but they never stopped leaching blue dye and I eventually just had to get rid of them. Their button up shirts were made of a crappy material that started looking bad after a few washes. It's not a worthless store, it's still basic necessity clothes at a good price. Just, it's disposable clothes like you might get at Forever 21 or H&M. read more

My friend told me ultra light down jacket is good and charge $49 before Thanksgiving. I was not hurry to buy one, I though it should be cheaper or at most the same price on the Black Friday. I went to the store in Stoneridge Mall on BLACK FRIDAY, and got one. I paid $59.90. I sent a picture of the jacket to my friend, she told me the store INCREASED the price in the BLACK FRIDAY ,the day all shoppers expect to get good deals in American stores, and the store did mark down some prices(maybe even charge more during BLACK FRIDAY shopping compared with regular days) ．I just felt how sneak of UNIQLO. If you like to buy stuff from this company, please beware their price is not honest, the company like to cheat the customers. read more

Great new addition to Stoneridge Mall! Lots of good basic pieces! They also sell a lot of down jackets and vests in a lot of different colors that they have displayed in their windows. Good place to pick up basic items that you can later jazz up with accessories. read more
