I have to say I was very surprised and impressed. My spouse found a mini cooper there so we went to check it out. When we got there not only did we find the perfect car but a great deal and great service. Luis was very helpful and informative. He was great! no hassling us, got us a great deal and even offered to take care of a few minor scratches on the car. (Besides two small scratches the car looked brand new). We brought the car back and they did take care of the scratches, no problem no charge. They even have Skater,the resident car kitty who comes to say hello. Absolute scam of a place. I kind of knew that private dealerships usually jack up the price and try and add on a ton of unnecessary fees but I had high hopes for this place because of some good reviews. Do not let the good reviews lie to you. I would honestly save my time and not go here. Drove an hour from LA to look at a car that was listed for 18,990$. First issue I noticed was the main screen had some damage to it. Were they going to just sell the car like to me and hope I didnt notice the damaged screen? Then we finally get inside and the price they bring me is 27,000$ !! !! ! ! How did it got from 18,990$ to 27,000$!!! Absolutely ridiculous. I obviously am ready to leave so I dont waste anymore time but then he goes and brings his manager in. The manger then says the best they can do is 24,000$ I know for a damn fact a 2015 Bmw 228i Convertible with 63000 miles is not worth 24,000$ You can almost buy a brand new car for that price. He then proceeds to tell me that the car is worth 24,000$ like I am stupid. Who are you trying to fool we both know this car is not worth that much. Maybe 20-22k max. I have been looking at the car market for months and recently sold and bought a car from an actual dealership so I know how the process usually goes. Moral of the story save your time and do not go to any of these small privately owned used car dealerships the people who run them are usually just money hungry. Especially this dealership. First and foremost, I am not hiding my name. If you look on my drivers license you will see Alexis (my middle name) and that is the name I use publicly. Second of all Singleton is my married last name as I was just married this year in May. The truck was never repossessed and if this was the case why would I go to CarMax and purchase a 2013 Malibu at $511 a month? The truck was only $300 a month so please don't get ahead of yourself. The truck was raggedy, windows did not roll down properly and the heating core was messed up in the truck. We took the vehicle up to the "free mechanic" and NOTHING was ever fixed. Just false lies. I even had to rent a car for a week because the "free mechanic" was still "working" on my truck. I was very angry and Mike let me borrow an Audi until the truck was fixed....and that happened a few weeks after I purchased the truck. #Lemon. I still stuck with your company although I could have done a smalls claims case at that point. Get the truck and have it inspected yourself and you will see all the issues. I am not lying about anything I have posted. The car did not have warranty and your company received a $7000 check from the insurance company as a payoff for a truck that NEVER HAD AIRBAGS! I spoke to Nancy yesterday and she said it herself "how were we supposed to know the truck didnt have airbags" why would she say that? I have all my proof and will make it my own business to see you and whoever else in court. If UNIQUE AUTO was such a great car company then why is there other complaints? My girlfriend purchased a car here about four months ago and we had a decent experience with the staff here or so I thought. I purchased a car at Empire Motors in Montclair and that was a fantastic experience overall and I left with a great deal on a car. Unfortunately after being patient and waiting four months, we still have not received her plates. While I normally wouldn't completely blame the dealer, when we try to get in touch with someone about it, we repeatedly get pushed around to different people. When she called today to speak to the woman in charge of the dmv side of things, she was told to wait twenty minutes and call back. Apparently in those twenty minutes the woman left for the day and to make it even worse, she was connected to her phone and then someone picked up and immediately hung up on her. When she called back, she was put on hold and then just got her voicemail. This is a completely ridiculous and unprofessional way to treat a customer. We definitely won't be recommending this place for future purchases. Especially when there are actually great dealers nearby. read more

Went against my better judgement and bought a Mercedes from a used car dealership. Completely my fault and I've taken full responsibility. That being said in under one month 2 check engine lights came on, had to drive from West LA about 6 times like anybody has that kind of time. At the end I had to spend 1800 for a high pressure fuel pump because "they didn't know what was wrong" am I surprised no. Really disappointed with this place, as well as the salesperson, Luis. I came here with my boyfriend in search of a car. We had a specific one that we wanted to look at on a Tuesday and after calling to inquire about it, Luis asked if we could come back in two days so he could get it detailed so it would be ready when we saw it. We asked how the paint was and Luis sent back a Tiny picture of a chip and said that that was the only flaw, and the rest of the car looked fantastic. The morning of Thursday, we called Unique Auto Center and talked to Luis and he told us it was ready, so we drove over an hour to look at it and arrived at noon. When we got there, the paint had a ton of deep scratches on the hood and the front and rear bumpers had been repainted (by what appears to have been a child wearing a blindfold) and had paint drips. Luis explained that the guy who does the detailing didn't get a chance to buff the car...something he should have mentioned instead of stating the car was ready before we drove out there. He said his detailer would be back in an hour and that he would guarantee that he could get "90% of the scratches out" if we would wait. We decided to grab lunch in the mean time and have him call us when it was finished. At 3:00 he calls to say that his detailer had just arrived and that was working on it. We came back at 4:30 and he said it was almost finished. By the time we saw it, the sun was low enough to not see the extent of swirls the "detailer" left on the car. We bought the car anyway, in spite of the physical flaws, Because the mileage was low and my boyfriend has a polisher and wax and figured he would do it himself. After having a few issues, we called Luis, and he either wouldn't pick up the phone and wouldn't return the voicemails, or when we did get ahold of him with a question, he would say "let me check with the sales manager and I'll call you back in an hour" ... yet he has failed to follow through with that claim multiple times. TLDR; Save yourself the hassle of dealing with a flakey company and an integrity lacking salesman and find another dealer. read more

Just spoke to a seemingly Shady salesperson with a bad attitude named John flick. This guy said he would call me back after he verified if the vehicle is still available. He also wanted to verify they have a no-haggle price a 13000 and change. When he came back I again had asked him about negotiating price a bit and that's what I'm used to, at which point he told me and by the way I don't want you to get mad when you come out here it's not only a no-haggle price but we add $1,000 on to the price because we put a GPS system on there. I said that seems really shady , i dont see that on your website, or any of your advertising, he said that it is what it is, have a nice day and very rude. Condescending for sure. In my opinion I would never go to this dealership. All I simply asked is if they were negotiable, I tried to be a little funny with the guy and he was kind of rude back. When I first started talking to Unique Auto Center. They were nice and cool about my interests in the cars I wanted. I came down all the way from Orange County to check out a A5 that was listed for 18,995$. When I got there I test drove two cars an A5 and an A6. Let me tell you that once I pulled out the lot and onto the streets the A5 breaks down due to issues with the battery. The car looked nice but when it ran the engine just didn't sound right. This car was at 65,000 miles and it just didn't sound too well. So then after I just told the man named Augie that I'm interested in the other car(A6). As I went into the office I waited for him to meet me with an offer hoping that it would be an okay deal. However he and his boss gave me an offer that doubles the price of the car. With an apr of 19 percent for 72 months. I was appalled at the way he sounded so confident that it was okay for this deal to take place. Just because I am 22 years old he really thought he could give me the most bogus offer. This place will exploit you based on any circumstance and try to sweet talk you into buying. When I told him I wasn't interested, then his tone changed saying that his boss had worked magic for me and that wouldn't be possible anywhere else. He also proceeded to say that the job I have isn't adequate for what I'm going for. How rude of him to bring up my means of income. I could buy the car off the lot if I wanted to, but just interacting with these people made me upset. If you come here beware and be cautious they will sweet talk you till they run your credit for nothing giving you a decrease in your score. read more

They we're willing to sell me a car with no one else would because of my credit. the tires on the car already had wires showing I had a talk to to get people order to get new tires on the car but in the end they gave me used tires. the car came with a limited warranty said only covers engine and transmission. after 2 days I found the car had a small oil leak and a leak is the hose for the power steering fluid I took the car back to the guy sold me the car and he got mad when I told him about the problem. I talk to his boss told him I was wrong and he sent me to the mechanic to have it checked out and I'm still waiting for them to fix it they told me they did not have time today to take it back the next day so I will go back tomorrow and see what happens. everything else but car work good and the car is nice. but the guy who sold the car is being rude now that I am telling him about the problems. Well the check engine light went off winter time I have the warranty they will check it and tell me there's nothing wrong and clear but it would turn it back on again as well as oil light. When they say the oil is fine and it doesn't need to change. Car makes a funny noise when I try to stop I think it has something to do with the break but something That is not covered under warranty. They told me the card be about 6,000 and I trade in my car they gave me 2,000 For it can't figure out why I still owe 9,000 after they include all the prices and taxes. Plus the car was a year older than what they told me it was. They did manage to fix most of the major problems but they had my car for pretty much the first month just to fix all the problems I should have that fixed before they sold the car to me. Starla, who we first got in touch with, was wonderful/nice/super quick to respond to our emails. T, Luis and Spiro were also accommodating. The car was missing a few aesthetics (clip and trunk cover for the hatchback) and they got them in by the time I brought it back to be detailed.
