I'm really disappointed with this business. The owner tries very hard to beat the competition and I really prefer to support small businesses that are not corporate but this one has let me down. The owner is very sweet and will do her best but the problems I have with it is, 1) credit cards are not accepted with orders under $20. 2) they are not open on the weekend at a convenient time on Saturday and completely closed on Sunday. 3) they take at least 3 days to get a small order done when other businesses offer the order to be done the next day after 5:00 It's hard to support this business when other cleaners don't have these problems. I don't to be inconvenienced when trying to support a small business. So from now on I take my dry cleaning to a different business. read more

One fine day I put on a brand new and pressed button up and went to work. Unfortunately, a colleague who was changing a printer toner didn't notice it was damaged and it broke open and got all over my BRAND NEW - $100 shirt. Needless to say, I was pissed. I hit yelp and found Unique Cleaners and went over straight away. The lady there took one look at it and told me that cleaning the toner out of the shirt would be a huge affair and the shirt probably isn't worth it but she would give it a go. I hung my head and left the shirt hoping for a miracle. I went to pick it up the following day and there was no trace of toner on my shirt and the bill was only $15.00. A miracle! I was thrilled with the service and have been back several times with other laundry and dry cleaning. I have yet to be disappointed. read more

I've been bringing my cleaning to Unique Cleaners for awhile now and have been meaning to leave a good review because they are THE BEST but I'd get busy and it would slip my mind but now after picking up my latest order I HAVE to share what amazing service I received. First, I'm always greeted by Ani who is so friendly and helpful. My clothes always come back perfect. But this last time was especially amazing. My mother-in-law passed away and my teenage daughter inherited her favorite coat. When she brought it home she noticed that somehow there was some sort of hard substance stuck to the back of one of the sleeves -- I don't EVEN know what it was. Try as I might I could not get it removed, not by spot cleaning or washing it. Nothing worked. I finally told my daughter we'd have to let it go... it was just too unsightly and I just couldn't get it out. She was so disappointed as it meant so much to her to have it. She asked if we couldn't take it to Unique and ask if they could try. To be honest, it hadn't occurred to me (I guess because I foolishly thought if I couldn't get that stuff off of it no one could!) So I took it in with some other things I needed dry cleaned, showed it to Ani and she told me she'd try her best to clean it off. When it was time to pick up my dry cleaning, there was the coat -- perfectly clean and looking like the day my mother-in-law purchased it. My daughter was so happy! She immediately tried it on at home and twirled around in it and I cannot begin to tell you how much it meant to us both to have her grandmother's coat back in pristine condition. Ani cleaned a curtain that was 50 years old and the curtain turned out perfectly, but the curtain lining was shredded. She took our curtains, cleaned them and re-lined them and they are as good as new! Her assistant got the curtains to our vehicle, and we have curtains that look new! This was not a simple job. These guys are outstanding! Unfortunately I no longer live close by but I still try to take my clothes there as often as I can. I've been a customer for over 15 years and have never had a negative experience. They have always been ready to accommodate my needs, especially in a crunch. I had an emergency alteration that I needed and no one in my area could do it, one call to my old cleaners and they stepped up to the plate! The job was ready on time and done expertly. One of my pet peeves is that the buttons on my dress shirts are not destroyed during the dry cleaning process. Although a simple enough of a request you would be surprised how many dry cleaners manage to ruin them. I have never had that problem with Unique Cleaners. If you're looking for a new dry cleaner these guys are it. Take it from me, I am no pushover, Unique Cleaners has earned my respect and loyalty as I am sure they will yours. read more

I noticed that there are two recently posted reviews. What a coincidence that they were posted on the same day after the owner tried to do damage control on my review. Maybe more information from me is needed. The stitch job was so lousy by their seamstress that if YOU had the same type of quality done to you, you would not be happy either. The owner made no attempt to make things right except to give the jacket back to the seamstress to try to undo the damage. There's plenty of other cleaners around that stand behind the quality of work performed. Unique Cleaners does not. read more

This is the best dry cleaners I have ever experienced. I received the best service, and the owner and his daughter are so amazing and are willing to help with anything! Because of my busy schedule I'm not able to walk in, however they never miss a pickup/delivery day! I use their pickup delivery services twice a week, however if I ever have an emergency item I take it in and they have no problem working with me to get it back to me ASAP. I knew it was a bit late, but I brought my son's suit in for tailoring on a Monday when we needed it on Thursday. The tailor had already picked up the work for the week and was not going to return to have the suit back by Thursday. These lovely people drove the suit to the tailor and picked it up for me (without complaint or charging extra) so that we would have it in time for the concert. The first time I went to Unique cleaners I was very excited that I had finally found a great cleaner in the Santa Clarita valley. The second time I picked up my stuff I was less satisfied. The third time I had to complain about how horrible my clothes looked. The next service went much better. This last time I took my stuff in my wife had a white dress that needed to have a stained removed, the stained was removed but in the process it created another stain in the back which was went unnoticed until my wife went to put on the dress on the day of her nieces bat mitzvah. Lucky my wife had a back up dress to wear on this very important event. We took the dress back and showed the owner and she right away got very defensive and stated that we were being very accusivetory towards her business. This was the last chance we gave this business. Now every weekend we drive to Culver City to take our stuff to Cinema Cleaners. An I'm sorry would have been nice from the owner. Horrible place and bad business manners. read more

I have been using Unique Cleaners since I had clothes to be dry cleaned! I have gone to them with clothes, comforters, curtains, evening dresses, expensive coats, couch cushions... Basically anything in my house! I always get the absolute best service, the owner and his daughter are so nice! They greet you by name when you walk in, and offer free pickup delivery twice a week for regular customers! However, if you need something ASAP they will always work with you! I have gotten multiple things altered from there and have always been impressed with the work they do. I am ALWAYS satisfied with the quality of my clothes for the competitive price I pay!
