Airpark Collision Center dropped the ball at every turn! I brought my truck to Airpark Collision Center for what should have been a quick fix -- a small ding in the rear bumper and quarter panel. I was told it would take 7-10 days. Instead, they kept my truck for nearly 4 weeks. The service manager, William, admitted they "dropped the ball," blaming delays on the shop, the insurance company, and the parts dealer. Owning up is one thing -- fixing the problems is another. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Deadlines were repeatedly missed, and I never received a proactive call. I had to chase them for updates, only to hear another apology and another excuse.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] William promised to "make it up to me" by filling the tank and cleaning the truck. That didn't happen either. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I arrived on the date I was told it would be ready, the truck was still in calibration -- and nobody bothered to call me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When I finally got it back the next day, the gas tank was empty, the exterior was filthy, and the inside was worse: dirty mats, grimy door panels, and a sticky steering wheel. The final insult? I found a receipt left inside for a full-service car wash that clearly wasn't used on my vehicle. This was not just a delay -- it was weeks of poor communication, broken promises, and careless treatment of my truck. My garage door hit the spoiler of my Tesla and knocked it off and cracked it. So, of course, I called Tesla and found the new spoiler was about $1,000 installed. I went on Amazon and found the same carbon fiber unit for $150.00. I purchased it but quickly realized I needed to find a body shop to install (did not want to mess up) and buff the few scratches in the area. I went to several body shops in the area but they were Tesla certified and would only install Tesla parts. Fortunately, I found Airpark Collision Center on line. I brought the part and car over to their shop and they were super professional and nice. Favian, the senior service advisor had the part installed and area buffed in about 30 minutes while I waited. 10/10 Experience! 9/8/2025 I recently had my 2019 VW Convertible Beetle repaired at Allard/Airpark Collision Center, and I couldn't be happier with the results. After reading some of the negative reviews, I can testify that none of this sounds like my past experiences here. I have had many repairs done with Airpark Collison. 3 teenagers and a wife who has had so many repairs that they should probably give her, her own parking spot. I too had a one issue with a bumper more than 4 years after the repair was done, paint cracked. They needed to look at it and then they scheduled a full repaint, no questions asked. This cracking and even chipping is common on bumpers and non-metal surfaces due to the high heat, I won't go into the science of it. I used to collect cars and flip them and the work they did for me on that end met the experts in the industries expectations and beyond. I assure you, if you have an issue, Gerald the owner, will make things right. It deeply bothers him if a customer is unhappy. He is one of the most passionate business owners I have ever met!!! 11/13/24 Farmer's Paint Repair Claim #AM122707 Paint repair completed on 2015 Ford Mustang completed 11/12/24 by Allard Collision - Airpark, new front bumper cover painted and installed, and rear bumper cover refinished. Contact Gilberto Lopez at Allard Collision - Airpark Front paint blemish at top left of front bumper cover, scratch at top rear bumper cover, under where trunk lid closes. Looks like they tried to repair run in the paint. Took the car back 11/13 and Gilberto brought out his "body shop manager" to look at the faulty paint work. The body shop manager wanted to blame the rear bumper scratch on the trunk lid closing on that area, while there had never been and damage there before this paint repair. The bumper cover does not appear to be installed correctly, because the center portion has no clearance, between the bumper cover at the bottom, and the trunk lid on top, when closed, while the left and right sides do have enough clearance to fit a finger under to raise the hood. The scratch appears to be from a left/right motion, and not from the trunk lid, because a straight down closing motion of the trunk lid to the bumper cover, which should have clearance between the two, would not produce this scratch. Even if the trunk lid lid cause the scratch, it would have happened because the bumper cover is sitting higher in the center, than it should, because it does not appear to have been reinstalled correctly, by this shop, after the paint repair. There has never been any body damage to the rear of this car, while the rear bumper cover did have paint repair several years ago at the left side only. Paid another body shop $500 on 11/18 to remove and correctly re-install the rear bumper cover so that it does not contact the trunk lid, which caused paint damage that now needs repair. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The body shop manager wanted to talk about how he thought I was rude, and he was not addressing the needed repairs, while very busy criticizing the customer.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The body shop manager decided that he was no longer going to talk to the customer, was going to refuse to do the paint repair, refused to give his name, and would not allow Gilberto to give me his name either, while walking away.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]While standing at the front door to the office, the body shop manager would not let me enter (I was insisting on his name), shoved me backwards (assaulted the customer), would not allow a photo of him to be taken (I did get a photo), and instructed Gilberto to call the police.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was standing outside of the office front entry door, and was told that I was trespassing. This whole thing was completely outrageous. Front and rear bumper covers now need the be repaired and painted again, by a paint & body shop that does do professional work. I am disputing this charge to my credit card in the amount of $2,465.60, because of unprofessional work, that needs to be re-done, this next time professionally, hopefully, by another paint and body shop. There was also a $500 deductible that I was required to pay. I am asking that the new front bumper cover be included, because of how this customer has been treated, and now I need to hunt down another shop, and do all this over again. read more

The communication from Linda at ACC regarding the progress of our repair was amazing, far superior to any other body shop we have been to in the past. Jon Cami, the owner of Pro Guard Auto referred me to Airpark Collision. I had some paint work I needed done on my 4Runner. Jon does insanely awesome wraps and I wasn't sure if that was the route I wanted to take. It turned out that a wrap was NOT the way I needed to go (Jon being Jon, he gave me a completely honest appraisal). He then asked me if I was familiar with Airpark Collision. I was not. He said Gerald at Airpark is the guy to talk to, let him know I said you should look him up. From the first telephone call I made to their shop, to the scheduled time to get an estimate, to the finished product (which they did in record time, easily a day or two earlier than when they could have quoted), I could not have a had a better experience. They carry numerous certifications from a wide range of manufacturers AND they are a STARS 1 USAA Direct Repair Program. I have been a USAA member for many years. Through that time, I have come to know that a USAA certification carries enormous weight. That sealed the deal for me. One last point: I HAD received a quote from Precision Auto Body in Tempe, as they were recommended by a local dealership I trust. The quote from Precision was more than double what Airpark charged me. Now it's quite possible the levels of work would have been different and I get that... but they lose revenue each and every time they place themselves at what is ostensibly a significantly higher service level and quote a price that is just astronomical. The work I was getting done was NOT being covered by USAA. It was out of pocket. Airpark understood that and made it such that it was feasable: Not cheap, but it made sense, budetarily. Others I fear, just have those bliders on re: insurance payouts and they price accordingly. OUCH!!! Bottom line: Airpark Collision Center is a Best In Class operation. I searched for a paint-less dent repair on Yelp. Airpark Collision Center came back as one of the shops. I phoned them and they had a person, Linda, answer right away (no waiting or leaving call-back numbers). She said they would have to see the dents to give a proper estimate. I said I would come down the next day, ( Friday) and she said that would be fine. Well we decided to go down Thursday instead. When we got there the personnel were EXTREMELY helpful. This included Linda, and Tina in the office. Gerald Small (the owner) took care of us along with the estimator, Aaron Howell. He arranged for the dent repair person to work on our car that very afternoon. We returned a little early and the dent person (Jeff Angell) was already there for us. He did an OUTSTANDING Job on the two dents we had. He is an artist. I have to comment on how helpful, cheerful, and totally dedicated to customer service these people were. It was pure pleasure doing business there. I hope I don't need any collision repair soon, but if I do this is the place to go. They very much deserve a five (5) star rating!!!! read more

Had body work done in 2017 where the work cracked. Took my vehical back to have them warranty their work. supposedly lifetime warranty on the work. Zero service to the customer as they wanted to have it looked at for paint warranty first! How about fulfilling your warranty and you figure it out later if paint supplier covers the repair or not! The accident happened on 12/15/15 and I brought my car to VW for the keyless entry issue on 12/24/15. If it helps you to update your knowledge, I can send you/post the PDF copy of this VW invoice. :) I'm also sure Statefarm helped you guys out with the misalignment by showing you the picture I took with a straight red line (they drew) on the picture to actually measure the misalignment. We just had a perfect experience with Airpark Collision. Actually our second perfect experience with them in the past couple of years. Very friendly and helpful. Good communication. Great quality of work. Locally owned. Airpark has preferred status with State Farm, our insurer, helping make for a quick and seamless repair. When dealing with the insurance claims department, I mentioned I wanted to use a collision center I had used before, one located near the Scottsdale Airport, but I was uncertain of its name. They listed a half dozen collision centers before finally mentioning Airpark. Not sure why so many were mentioned, given Airpark is precisely in the location I described, but they finally did identify it. Since Airpark has preferred status with State Farm, I had the option of stopping in for an estimate or just leaving the car for repair. Nice! Left it on a Tuesday morning, with an indication that they would try to finish it by Friday. Promise kept! The car was ready and waiting, looking better inside and out than it had in quite some time. Very pleased with the quality of the work. This experience was an exact repeat of the positive treatment we had received with a different car a year or so earlier. Two for two! Airpark also has a good working relationship with Enterprise Rental Car. I do not carry rental car insurance coverage, so this car rental was out of pocket expense for me. The folks at Airpark suggested that I simply ask Enterprise for the Airpark rate and for my insurance company rate. Enterprise would then honor the lower of the two rates without me having to bother with online booking. Worked perfectly. Enterprise picked me up at Airpark, of course, but I was also then able to simply leave the car and keys at Airpark when my car was ready. Very convenient. Great experience overall. This is a great body shop. How does one pick a body shop? It's always a recommendation from a friend, prior experience or reviews like this. I had several thousands needed on a 2 month old luxury car. Went here and to 2 other shops in the area. The other 2 were sort of chains. Airpark is an independently owned business. I had to pay for this myself vs. using insurance so price was really important. The price was about the same at all three. Here's why I picked airpark... o I noticed that Airpark had certifications from all the high-end manufacturers, which means the shop is certified for the quality and experience the high end manufacturers demand. o Price was totally competitive -- they must all use the same computer program because all three prices were almost the same. o I read lots of reviews and their's are outstanding. o Gerald (the owner) does the estimating. He was totally professional and was careful to show me exactly what had to be done and why. o I prefer working with individually owned (vs chain) businesses. o This was a large shop, not a mom/pop operation o There were lots of high-end cars there being repaired. Here's what happened... Perfection! Totally impossible to see any indication of any repair. Sidebar: They called us twice to delay delivery. Actually, a great thing. Somehow or other a tiny something-or-other got under the paint. I couldn't see it, but they could. They did not want to deliver the car until it was perfect. Good by me! After it was done, Gerald gave me a tour of the shop. It's really big. Takes up 3 or 4 sections of an industrial area. I was blown away by the expensive specialized equipment they had. Too bad zero stars is not an option. Stay away from this incompetent bunch of schiesters, they'll tell you one thing and screw you the next. A simple paint repair will take weeks, but if you are a busy professional, who requires the use of your car, they'll screw you on the rental and then tell you "don't call us to let us know you are returning the car, because we were going to lie to the car rental agency that say you that you dropped it earlier, so now because you phoned us to notify us of the drop off-- you are stuck with the bill!" Then the manager will proceed to laugh at you and not give you the name of the owner. So childish. Well manager, unless you are a relative of Gerald Small, you may find yourself looking for work real soon. This appears to be a case of discrimination against HISPANICS. And really, Gerald Small, are you that have to milk the insurance co. for business, that it takes 2 weeks to get a $100 paint job done and then allow your manager to lie and mislead customers? I would highly recommend Airpark Collision Center to anyone who has a car in need of repair. Just to give you an idea, they did such a nice job on my car that it looks better than it did before the accident - it basically looks new! Worst auto body repair service I ever experienced and I was gullible enough to go back a second time. First visit was a parking lot door ding that they subbed out to a mobile dent repair guy. Should have gone to the mobile guy direct and eliminated ACC margin but wanted it fixed. Real issue is that Jeff scheduled the repair and I rearranged my commitments, had someone follow me so I would not sit there for hours and the dent guy was a no show. Had to reschedule and go through making arrangements a second time. The dent guy said he never got a call. ACC said they had the appointment scheduled. What a hassle, but hey mistakes are made, things happen right. Gave ACC a second chance six months later for minor fender damage. My insurance company rejected their initial quote for excessive labor and material. ACC revised the quote so I had the work scheduled. At the time of scheduling ACC told me my vehicle would be ready in 3 to 4 days and that they would give me a progress update call 2 days after dropping it off. No call on day 2 so I called them on day 3. I got a receptionist who said she would check on it and have someone call me back. After waiting about 5 hours with no call, I called them only to be told my car would not be ready until the following Tuesday which was 7 days after I dropped it off. Had to extend my rental car from 4 to 7 days. When I did pick up the vehicle I was not happy with trim ring fit gap and fender alignment but by this time I just wanted to be done. Moral of my story, if you do business with these guys, bring your wallet, be prepared to chase them for status and double any timing commitments. I would have given less than 1 star if that was possible. Certifications are just wall paper unless you deliver a quality product, on time, at a cost competitive price. **Shady and dismissive of concerns** My vehicle was hit by someone else in a parking lot and I took my Toyota here on a recommendation from the dealership. WORST DECISION. I was hit on the front bumper and needed just that repaired. I have large offroad tires and a leveling kit on my Toyota 4runner. I have driven the vehicle for 12,000 miles and have not had ANY issues with the tires rubbing the fenders. There was no issue with my tires rubbing fender after the accident. After repairs from this shop, my tires rub against the fender when I just try to back out from a parking spot!!!!! I brought the vehicle back and they refused to fix it, they refused to even look at it and kept saying that the original tech was "busy" and that he couldn't come talk to me. They are the kind of shop that gives auto body repair companies a bad rap. BEWARE IF YOU TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. THEY MAY MESS IT UP AND BLAME YOU FOR IT. Per the response from the body shop - Again my bumper didn't rub before so there should be no need to cut my bumper now! The shop wouldn't fix the problem that they created. Now my husband has to spend the time to fix a problem that your team created. And in reference to the tech, the manager never went and got the tech and told my husband that he was busy.
