Since my first appointment in March was a definite 5* experience, I booked my 2nd appointment in April - just days before Easter weekend. 'The Good Words' from other customers must have gotten out because the Salon was very busy! I scheduled a gel manicure & pedicure again with Jamie - and again she did a stellar job & made it such a pleasant & relaxing experience! As I take in the whole Salon it seems the customers are quite happy with their experience with All of the manicurists in the Salon. The manager Jody is also very welcoming & involved, she has a very loyal list of customers, and no doubt the foundation of the success of this Salon. And....This time (maybe because of Easter weekend) I also noticed couples coming in together (yes husbands along with their wives!) & another couple came in with their teenage son & daughter and made it a nice family affair! Let me start off by saying I called ahead and was able to get a last minute appt but didn't know who the technician was or who I should go to since I've never been there before. I was taken right away and the staff was super nice asking about my service and listening to me. The vibes were off right away when one of the clients next to me asked for something and the. The other staff started speaking badly about her and her request. In the end the vibe was very off and I felt like I wanted to leave. I stayed and noticed that the gel was being thrown on. Not really shaped and I wanted a design and I ended up tell them I just wanted plain nails. I didn't trust the process or the staff to give me French tip that I would be happy with. I've included photos of my nails. They are lifting, they are uneven, not a good shape and honestly.... I'm horrified. I'm going to another nail salon to get them fixed. I also believe paying $130 for a hard gel fill and a pedicure that wasn't very good is absurd. I don't have a problem with the price if it was what I wanted or asked for. read more

Update Nov 2025- that they are now accepting credit cards. They've been under new management for over a month and it's been consistently positive. I get my nails done every 2-3 weeks and I enjoy coming to this location. If they're running a few minutes late, they'll offer you a hot or cold beverage, whether it's water, tea or Gatorade. Last time I was given an Asian style coffee... Prices are fair and the work is good. They take their time which is why they often run a little behind schedule. read more

Here's an update: after a week of getting my hair stuck in my nails while washing my hair or just simply touching my hair. I was wondering why if I didn't see any cracks or anything. Until yesterday I realized my builder gel application is lifting from my natural nail. Never had this happen to me ever. I don't think the lady knew what she was doing while doing my nails. When I asked for builder gel she asked me something about a refill with powder. Makes no sense to me. read more

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this nail salon (after a long day of errands..) and was blown away by the experience. My nails turned out better than I could have imagined. A big shout out to Jody for recommending Nicole for my nail art request! Jody also took care of my toenails and they are beyond cute. I initially just wanted a foot massage, but she persuaded me to get a whole lavender-scented treatment that I don't regret at all. It was so relaxing after a long day on my feet! Jody certainly knows the right pressure points for her foot massages too. I felt like I was walking on clouds after! She then suggested trying out this new pearl effect on my toenails and they look exactly like natural pearls. No free feet pictures though. Just got to trust me, the pearl effects on white nail polish are to die for. The staff here were also so friendly, offering water and helping me get comfortable in the massage chair. The store itself is beautiful, and the overall atmosphere made the visit even better. Coming here and trying them out is a must! Amazing ladies and a lovely store. I havent gotten my nails done is so long because I had my left thumb fused and all other nail salons I went to said they could not do my nails without twisting and moving my thumbs. I went to Unique and asked them, they said it was absolutely no problem!! The work they did was top notch too!! It's now been 5 weeks and I havent lost a single nail! I normally lose at least 2-3 by week 2. I went to another nail salon across the street from this one a few years ago and I lost almost every single one 2 days after getting them done. Decided to try since it's under new management. Let me save you time and money. I had dip and pedicure. The lady doing my nails cut me 5 xs with the drill and burned my fingers it was so hot. I jumped she laughed and said "oh I keep cutting you" She put down the last tech who did my nails saying she would "fix " them. NOPE. They are bumpy, with large bums then super thin. The pedi person didn't allow me to straighten my legs so I sat with knees bent the whole time. She did w VERY LIGHT rub to my legs, ignored my feet and called it a day.
