Update Nov 2025- that they are now accepting credit cards. They've been under new management for over a month and it's been consistently positive. I get my nails done every 2-3 weeks and I enjoy coming to this location. If they're running a few minutes late, they'll offer you a hot or cold beverage, whether it's water, tea or Gatorade. Last time I was given an Asian style coffee... Prices are fair and the work is good. They take their time which is why they often run a little behind schedule.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this nail salon (after a long day of errands..) and was blown away by the experience. My nails turned out better than I could have imagined. A big shout out to Jody for recommending Nicole for my nail art request! Jody also took care of my toenails and they are beyond cute. I initially just wanted a foot massage, but she persuaded me to get a whole lavender-scented treatment that I don't regret at all. It was so relaxing after a long day on my feet! Jody certainly knows the right pressure points for her foot massages too. I felt like I was walking on clouds after! She then suggested trying out this new pearl effect on my toenails and they look exactly like natural pearls. No free feet pictures though. Just got to trust me, the pearl effects on white nail polish are to die for. The staff here were also so friendly, offering water and helping me get comfortable in the massage chair. The store itself is beautiful, and the overall atmosphere made the visit even better. Coming here and trying them out is a must! Amazing ladies and a lovely store. I will certainly be back for more!

I got my nails done for the first time in 3+ years here. I havent gotten my nails done is so long because I had my left thumb fused and all other nail salons I went to said they could not do my nails without twisting and moving my thumbs. I went to Unique and asked them, they said it was absolutely no problem!! The work they did was top notch too!! It's now been 5 weeks and I havent lost a single nail! I normally lose at least 2-3 by week 2. I went to another nail salon across the street from this one a few years ago and I lost almost every single one 2 days after getting them done. I will definitely be a permanent customer to Unique! That is when my wallet allows me to get my nails done. Lol! read more

Decided to try since it's under new management. Let me save you time and money. I had dip and pedicure. The lady doing my nails cut me 5 xs with the drill and burned my fingers it was so hot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I jumped she laughed and said "oh I keep cutting you"[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She put down the last tech who did my nails saying she would "fix " them. NOPE. They are bumpy, with large bums then super thin. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The pedi person didn't allow me to straighten my legs so I sat with knees bent the whole time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She did w VERY LIGHT rub to my legs, ignored my feet and called it a day. I didn't want to be rude so I remained quiet. $80.00 later ... WOULD NEVER GO BACK! This is what I get for not going back to Whittwood nails! You get what you pay for. read more

Jody has completely remodeled the space to enable you to have a luxurious spa experience when getting you manicure, pedicure, new sets, and waxing. Unique Nails and Spa in La Habra is such a gem! The shop is beautiful, bright, and spotless with plenty of super-comfortable spa pedicure massage chairs. Sharon is absolutely the best--so friendly and detail-oriented. My nails came out so pretty, and her work is always high quality. They're open 7 days a week and even offer beverages like water, coffee, tea, and Gatorade, which is such a nice touch. Plus, they have so many colors to choose from--it's hard to pick just one! I can't wait to come back for my Gel-X nails before my next vacation. Sharon is amazing! Highly recommend this place. read more

All of the staff at Unique Nails are wonderful! I have been going to Jody, the owner, since I was 15 years old and I am now in my mid-30s. She will make such a great new owner of this salon as she is dedicated to quality and customer service. The salon is very clean and updated and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Her prices are reasonable and she is willing to do most any design/service while still giving her professional expertise. I highly recommend! read more

I walked in Unique Nail Salon Spa and was served immediately for full set nails . I explained that I have paper thin nails and needed extremely careful person and Kim was very gentle for the whole process. i wanted my nails done for Super Bowl and my favorite team Seattle Seahawks. Jody painted the Seahawks and it came out great! Would recommend Unique Nails when you're shopping at La habra Albertsons, they're just next door and these girls know what they're doing! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Since my first appointment in March was a definite 5* experience, I booked my 2nd appointment in April - just days before Easter weekend.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 'The Good Words' from other customers must have gotten out because the Salon was very busy! I scheduled a gel manicure & pedicure again with Jamie - and again she did a stellar job & made it such a pleasant & relaxing experience! I just got a gel manicure and regular pedicure and they look perfect! I normally go to Bella nails on imperial but I tried Zara for the first time today and I'm definitely coming here now. The quality and prices are way better, and they didn't to push me to spend more money on designs or other more expensive packages. Viviana did my gel manicure and she was very detailed made sure they look perfect and took her time even though they where busy.
