Disappointed with our flight to DTC. I made sure to get one step above the economy seats to hope for something better as far as benefits on the flight. I had to pay an additional $80 for checking in 2 bags as well. Delta Main is better than United. I suppose this is why we almost always fly exclusively fly Delta. I end up paying out more for seats and bags with other airlines, didn't end up saving me any money using United for this trip after all. Their planes are draft and old. I shut off the air blowing cold air right onto my head directly. More cold air blowing continuously from the plane system. This is not going to be a pleasant flight. :( read more

Flight kept getting delayed and delayed. Instead of cancelling early so people could get a new flight, they waited until there were no more flights to cancel it. Then when I asked about getting a hotel, I was told "since it was weather, they can't do a hotel room" first time trying to fly United, but will definitely be my last. Like pulling teeth trying to talk to workers. They would just disappear for 30 minutes at a time. read more

Don't use united airlines if possible. Bought tickets to bring my wife's best friend in from CO for her 40th bday. Had a great weekend and my wife was completely surprised. When it came time for my wife's best friend to head home at the end of the weekend she was denied access to the plane but united airlines. The plane hadn't stared boarding yet, but they claimed that she wasn't there early enough to check a bag and the person person her in was new and neither she nor the supervisor would allow her to check a bag even though she was there in plenty of time. I will no longer be getting tickets for united airlines regardless of the price. And their prices aren't great anyway. read more

While I have had my share of flight woes, I have always had great experiences with United when traveling in and out of Will Rogers. The flights are usually timely and when they are not, I have received timely notifications by phone and text. The planes are comfortable, the flight crews are friendly and the baggage crew are pretty quick about getting gate checked baggage to the jet bridge (the flights from Chicago are on smaller aircrafts which do not fit roller board bags). United OKC gets it right and that is something worth writing about. read more

Wow wow wow. For years I have been flying for business multiple times a week. And I have never experienced such consistent poor service as I have with United at the OKC airport. These people are miserable and do not care for their customers. United OKC needs a major culture overhaul. Read the other reviews and take another airline. Or find out for yourself. read more

Just landed in OKC and had to Yelp! Not the airline that it used to be! Evident that they are cutting back staff and overall services. On my trip of six different airports I did not meet one friendly employee and I found the entire onboard staff rude and arrogant. May just move my future travels to another carrier. My wife and a coworker are going to a conference. The company bought them adjoining seats, a few months in advance, departing at 08:30. The flight was overbooked. I'm not certain how this practice is legal, but it's what United did. So my wife and her coworker were bumped to two separate flights going in two directions to get them to their destination airport two hours apart. Also, my wife's flight was two hours later than her original flight. When she boarded the plane she was seated in the too small for anyone but a child economy seating. But that's O.K. as the aircraft she was put on had majour mechanical problems so after half an hour of sitting on the aircraft she and the other passengers were disembarked. She was then told it would be another two hours before she might get to start her trip. Which would get her wheels up at around 13:00. I used to enjoy flying United. I had never had any of these issues. Now I will avoid this airline whenever possible. I don't know how much cheaper the tickets were than they would have been on a real airline, but the savings is not worth it. read more

I was told they were taking safety precautions to keep us safe from corona yet a complete stranger is sitting in the seat next to me. We definitely aren't six feet apart. We have masks on but that's it!!!! If they would have checked our temperature I would feel more comfortable but they didn't even do that! Last year I loved my flight. Salt Lake innuendos airport 3/11/20: Informed United Airlines Baggage Claim personnel that a green and white bag wrap was missing around my luggage and the best way to attempt to retrieve it. Without acknowledging my question she quickly yelled out at me that anything outside of the bag is their responsibility. I let her know that this bag wrap had been through 3 check one on this trip and none of the ticket counter agents mentioned it. Then she points her finger at me and tells me to file a lost and found claim and make a suggestion to have the ticket agents inform me about the wrap in the future. She never once empathized with me. She was very harsh and condescending. I thanked her for her service and then another employee waiting for her baggage sarcastically thanked me back. So unnecessary, petty and unprofessional. read more

This has to be the worst airline customer service ever and I am a frequent traveler. My flight on United was delayed such that I would miss my connection. The agent did nothing to assist me other than indicating there were no other flights today ( 315pm). I asked about getting booked on another flight but nothing was available per their rules and regulations with partners. I asked to be refunded as I needed to rebook myself on another airline and I was told I had to contact customer service. I called customer service and got someone in Phillipines who indicated I could not get a refund. I asked to speak to Customer Care and was told I had to send email as there was not Cust Care phone. After rebooking myself on Southwest I went back to United counter and asked for supervisor. Her name was FARHANA , no last lame with an attitude. I explained situation and she picked up yellow document with 800 number on it and said I had to call that number. I explained I did and was told I could not get refund and she said there was nothing she could do! This is how managers treat customers?!? I asked her if that is how customers are treated at United and is that how they learn to be managers? Rude, disrespectful, unhelpful, hateful. read more

I have only flown this airline 3 times, they have a 100% miss rate for connecting flights, with me, won't allow carry ons in the small commuter plans & charge an extra fee, unadvertised. Terrible customer service, I would rate then negative numbers if possible.... read more

So I get to the ticket counter to pay for my checked bag. I had cash on me and they told me that they cant take the cash you would have to go to an ATM like device that will charge me $5 to use. What type of BS is that. What is all this coming to, we are going to a fully automatic presses, less people to pay. No human interaction. So they are saving money and yet ticket price are not going down. So if you are leaving OKC to fly somewhere make sure you have a card to pay for things. read more

Booked on my flight. No problem. Then there was a delay. Again, not their problem. Wait! It was there problem! The flight wasn't full so they cancelled it. The gate agent told me weather related so not their responsibility to accommodate or provide meals, they will help rebook. I call the hotline and find out the truth. So why would the gate agent tell me differently? The supervisor! That's why. She instructed the gate agents to inform the passengers the way we were to "avoid problems"! United has big problems! Thankfully the other services in the OKC airport are familiar with the games and graciously transferred my United ticket to their service at no charge. American airlines, my thanks to you for getting me home when it wasn't your problem. To Portia the supervisor and United airlines, you don't deserve to be lying to your customers for the sake of a quick buck. Shame on you! read more

I'm not sure where to start, but here we go. While leaving OKC for a week's vacation in Jamaica, our United flight to Houston was delayed several times and then canceled for those connecting in Houston. (Not the bad part at all) We are then rebooked by a United agent to American Airlines on a fight leaving in minutes from the booking. We walk across the way and American was unable to take us on that flight because we were an international flight and they did not have our luggage. Then at the same moment...the United flight we were on decides it can make the Houston connection and tells people they will be boarding shortly. We walk back to the United gate, directly across from American and they tell us we are no longer on the plane and would have to pay $75 each to get back on. I call the 800 number and they state they could now get us out the next day because there were no other flights on any other airlines that day. Craziest thing I've ever been through. (Side note: The American attendant sees what is going on and walks across to the United Gate to tell me he reserved 2 seats that would get us to Montego Bay late this evening just in case. That was flat out amazing.) Finally, it was clear that getting back on our original flight they took us off of was not work going to happen and the United attendant called and confirmed our reservations on the U.S. Airways fight the American attendant saved for us, informed us that they (United) had us upgraded to first class for our trip home, and took our baggage claim receipts stating she was going to make sure our 2 bags were transferred over to U.S. Airways right away. While waiting the extra hours for our new US Airways flight to leave, the United attendant states that they again messed up and accidentally sent our bags to Houston, but they would be waiting in Montego Bay when we land. She then hands me a torn piece of index card with 1 small sticker and 1 hand written reference number. When asked if I could have the ones I gave her back she stated she no longer had them and was unable to print more. We finally landed in Montego Bay around 9:00pm instead on the 3:30pm time we were suppose to be arriving. (Not done yet) After getting through customs, I'm sure no one is surprised that the bags are not there. In addition, the U.S. Airways person states the United sent one to Charlotte, NC and one to Houston. They gave us information and let us know they would get our bags to us as soon as they were received them from United. We were in Jamaica for 3 full days before one bag arrived Tuesday night. The resort shop was enjoying our clothing purchases. I called United Wednesday morning to check on the other bag and after some time it was still located in Houston in United's possession. They stated they would put it on the next flight out to Montego Bay and we should have it very soon. I'm sure all can guess by now that it never arrived. When I called on Friday, they stated it was waiting at our destination waiting for picked. The problem is they had our destination as OKC and the bag is waiting there. Right now I'm stilling in the Montego Bay Airport, United still made me pay the $25 luggage fee for the one checked bag we have. Oh, and they had no record of the upgrade I watched the attendant in OKC call to make sure they had for us. The United desk here in Jamaica stated they would upgrade us but all the first (business) class seats are now taken. We've had to spend more money on replacement cloths and even lost a $30 Spa product my wife had purchased at the resort at the security check point that weighed (3.14oz) and we did not have enough room in our 1 available checked bag. Still have 1 hour before we leave Montego Bay, so I'm just waiting for a United employee to find us and tell us our one bag was sent to China, but we should still see it soon. By far the craziest airline experience I have ever had. I'm posting this on the United Facebook page to see if they will call me to make things right, but I'm not holding my breath. If more happens with United before we get home this evening, I'll update this post. All that said, our week at the Sandals Whitehouse Resort in Jamaica was nothing short of amazing. read more
