We stopped in here before an early morning flight and found it to be one of the smaller clubs in the IAH airport. While there's still a full bar with the same complimentary beverages that are offered at other United Clubs, breakfast offerings are slim. Cold croissants, a warming pot of oatmeal, some pastries, and sliced fruits that have seen better days are all that's offered by way of eateries. The illy machine was a slight consolation, allowing us to chug our way through several lattes and cappuccinos before the flight. Unfortunately, all those beverages had to go somewhere and there are no bathrooms inside the club. You're allowed to come in and out once you're checked in, but having to leave this airport haven just to use the loo was quite the downside. There are quite a few window seats and a few one-seater sofas throughout the space with ample outlets scattered throughout for your recharging pleasure. If you have the time to spare, I'd suggest heading over to one of the other terminals to enjoy the more spacious lounges.

This has a nice layout to it and it has free wifi which is awesome along with showers if you have a long layover. The food selection was pretty good and the seats are comfortable worth the $59 extra since I was stuck there for 3hrs waiting. The staff was nice and friendly very helpful and it's nice to hear them announce about certain flights so you are not late. And they can assist if you have any questions, the bartender was really nice as well. I've been here twice in a week time and both times the bartender and staff was nice

Busy. Full lounge, had to look hard for two seats together. Good food, replenished regularly. Friendly bar staff.

The United Club has the best shirley temples ever. The are consistently good at every club.

During busy hours the wait can be up to 10 minutes. I recommend just leaving the lounge to use the bathroom. ~2pm: Waited for two hours to get in. The attendant at the front kept giving different times, citing the boarding of the KLM flight. This was incredibly frustrating and not even worth it, because there was no hot food and the space was mediocre. There was a quinoa salad, turkey&cheese sandwiches, cold bread rolls (with fancy butter though!), bananas, and chips. ~6am: Got in immediately and was pretty happy with the breakfast selection. There was warm toast, guacamole, sliced boiled eggs, pancakes, and an oatmeal bar. The lounge was pretty busy though, so I had to wait a while to use the bathroom. I actually slept in the lounge for an hour and it wasn't the worst. Overall, I'd recommend coming only during a time when they accept priority pass. If they say "come back later", just find another place to go to. It's not worth waiting around for.

I stopped by both KLM and Air France and the food was identical - same pasta salad, leafy salad, two sandwiches, plastic-wrapped chocolate chip cookie... The lounge prioritizes their own airline customers and offer better hot food options for their own. If you happen to get there when they're about to reopen for Priority Pass, wait in line - it get long quick! I wouldn't go out of my way to go here, but if I happened to be at the airport early and had some time to kill, it was maybe $15-20 saved in free basic food and straightforward to get to especially with the post-security air tram.

United is helping me get off to a good start!…read more 2025 was a rough, sad, devastating year for me and my family. I even lost my Yelp elite status for 2026, but that won't keep me from sharing, just makes me sad. I'm hoping for a better year in 2026...so here is my first review for the year! I am trying to put 2025 behind me and I am starting off the year with a trip. To my surprise we were blessed with an upgrade of which I am forever grateful and we got access to the Polaris Lounge. What a wonderful place to kick back and relax before a long flight! I've only been in the regular United Club up to now, and I have always been curious. They are similar, but a lot less crowded. There is plenty of cozy seating with different options from tables to lounge chairs. There is a buffet like the regular United Club, with snacks and drinks. Plus, there is a bar. In addition to the items like the regular Club, there is a sit down restaurant inside as well where you can order off a special menu if you don't want to go to the buffet (no worries, no extra cost). Moreover, just about all the seating areas have a charging station (of course, if you sit at a regular table there isn't any). The staff is super friendly from the time you check in to the time you leave. They make you feel seen and special. If you have access, I highly recommend to take advantage and relax...even for a few minutes. Thank you United for helping me to hopefully have a better year ahead.

The staff members were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which helped make the visit feel more relaxing before my flight. My only concern was how crowded the lounge became the last time I remembered pre-COVID. It was difficult to find an available seat, and having more seating would make the experience much more comfortable, especially during busy travel times. Overall, I still had a positive visit and would gladly return. With a little more seating availability, this could easily be a five-star experience if guests were timed and not staying for 2-3 hours after dining, just watching a movie or something at the lounge. This then causes a bottleneck in finding seating for those just entering the lounge, like myself.

After that, our oldest politely asked if he could also have a bag of popcorn. The volunteer responded firmly, "That's enough. You guys had too much already." I was honestly surprised by the tone and response, especially since they had only taken two items each. I asked if we could simply pay for the popcorn, but she said payment wasn't the issue -- they just didn't have enough food. What confused me was that there were no posted signs explaining item limits or any guidance about restrictions. Clear communication upfront would have prevented the misunderstanding. We also asked if we could use the microwave and were told no again, which added to the frustration. We donated $25 during our visit, and when I mentioned it, we were told that donation funds cannot be used to purchase additional food. That was surprising to hear. When the shift changed, the new volunteers were very polite and welcoming. However, by that point we felt uncomfortable and chose to leave without escalating the situation. We truly appreciate what the USO does for service members and families, which is why this experience was especially disappointing. We hope this feedback helps improve communication and consistency for future visitors.
