Beautifully done pavilion. The tea garden was my favorite part- I loved seeing all the flowers and plants and the explanation of their use in herbal tea. The shops are very beautiful to walk through, even if you aren't buying anything. The architecture seemed very cottage England esq (this is from what I've seen in movies). There aren't any rides (there might be a show) so we just walked through this pavilion. Definitely check it out! read more

One of my favorites! You'll find both a sit down and quick service restaurant, several shops, and a garden area to roam. Once we caught Alice in Wonderland for a character meet and greet. My maternal side is Irish / Scottish and I look for their family name each time I see the book. Visiting these countries is on my bucket list. We've eaten at the Rose & Crown. The Unite Kingdom pavilion is one of the pavilions at World Showcase in EPCOT. It is one of those that has no shows, no attractions. It has just stores, a quick service, a table service, and a walk up bar. It's a rather larger pavilion but really does not have a lot of stuff. We usually skip through this pavilion probably just stopping at Rose and Crown, the bar. For shops there is a wide variety including shirts, and typical Disney shops, but they also have tea and perfume. Twining's is a large tea company that originated in England so it only makes sense to have a shop here. It is really nice because there are options that I have not seen in the store. The Rose and Crown is a walk up inside bar, that makes you feel as though you are in an English pub. It's usually very busy but the cast members work very fast so the wait usually is not very long. They also have a table service restaurant attached to the bar, but it is only open for dinner. What I really love, is that the restaurant recently changed and it is not serving lunch anymore. So now you can just sit inside with your drink and just relax. This is what we do usually do if we stop here. We also like to visit the quick service which has just fish and chips. You can also bring that into the restaurant during lunchtime. Overall this is a fine pavilion, I just wish it had a show or movie or ride. There is some live music from time to time which is nice, but I think it needs more. I would say stop here for a beer and fish and chips, maybe some shopping, but overall its not one you MUST visit. read more

I enjoyed my time here. This was my 3rd time here in the last 4 years. I had fish and chips and a pint. It reminded me of when I was in London not too long ago. This is the actual pavilion in EPCOT. It is one of the few pavilions that has no shows, no attractions or movies, it only has stores, a quick service, a table service, and a walk up bar. It is one we usually stop at for the quick service location and the bar. The bar is one we always stop at, it is your typical pub. Regarding the stores, there is a pretty large variety of items to purchase including shirts, ornaments, keepsakes and other Disney themed items. There is also a unique shop that sells Twining's Tea and perfume. Twining's is the large tea company that originated in England and is sold in grocery stores, however, there are options that I have not seen in the stores. Rose and Crown is the pub and really makes you feel as though you are in an English pub. It is always busy, but the cast members work very fast causing the wait to not be so terrible. They also have a table service attached but only open for dinner. Something that changed within the last year or so, is the restaurant is no longer opened for lunch, however, you can sit there with your drink until 3pm. I love this as no other pavilion at EPCOT offers this. It is a great addition since the Pub does not allow you to hang out at the bar. This is what we do now, grab a drink and sit and enjoy the vibes and area. Overall this is a fine pavilion, I do wish there was at least a movie or even a ride. They do offer live music from time to time which is nice, but I think it really needs more. They do not even have a food booth during festivals here anymore. However, it is a place you should stop and visit, grab fish and chips, get a beer and call it a day! ACES! read more

Located inside Disney EPCOT Park. The United Kingdom Pavilion is so cute! I am Irish and British, so I appreciated this being the first thing when you enter EPCOT. You will find the Famous Fish and Chips Restaurante, with the staff wearing cute matching outfits. Then you will see the Rose & Crown. The red phone booths are a nice touch too. Plenty of places to sit and eat. I didn't see any rides or attractions, just food here. Which was still pretty awesome. Could they do more with this? Possibly. It is pretty cool though. I really wanted to try the fish and chips, but after seeing the reviews, I decided not to lol It looked like the food was just so-so. Good place for shopping and pictures though! read more

FATHER CHRISTMAS AT UK PAVILION During EPCOT's International Festival of the Holidays, Holiday Storytellers from different countries share their holiday traditions. One of our favorite World Showcase pavilions is the United Kingdom Pavilion where we met Father Christmas. It was a nice holiday moment with twinkling lights, chilly weather and young children enjoying the stories being told by Father Christmas. That evening there were no crowds in the cottage garden behind the pavilion. read more

United Kingdom Pavilion is located in the Epcot World Showcase. There's not too much to do in this area. It's based on the streets of London to an English cottage. The area also has buildings reflecting the Tudor, Georgian, and Victorian influences that the United Kingdom. In the back of the United Kingdom Pavilion is an English garden, topiaries, and Tigger's Maze. Traditional pub fare is found at the restaurant Rose and Crown Dining Room. At certain times, there are live musicians inside the restaurant. There are also shops at the United Kingdom Pavilion. I'm very fond of this pavilion. The souvenir shopping at the Crown & Crest has always been a great experience. What's interesting is that they also have Irish merchandise. Which is great... but I wouldn't mistakenly refer to the Republic of Ireland as being a part of the UK to anyone who is from Dublin. They will correct you. I was just happy to see the beautiful English gardens. There was also an English Tea Garden. There were markers around the plants representing teas from Twinings Tea Company. During the Flower & Garden Festival, they are offering 30 minute guided tours. We just did the self-guided one. The food & beer offerings are the best feature of this pavilion. They have the best beer battered fish & chips in all of Disney World. There's a quick service option with smaller portions at Yorkshire County Fish Shop. The Rose & Crown Dining Room is a welcomed site for anyone who'd rather have full service dining. We chose the latter. Just make sure you reserve your table ahead of time, but it's not always necessary. It was great talking to the cast members who were from the UK & Ireland. I had no idea that Ed Sheeran grew up in the Suffolk town of Framlingham. That was the very first castle we visited when living off base in the Suffolk town of Leiston. I didn't know "Castle on the Hill" was about Framlingham Castle. How cool is that? It truly is a small world after all. No pun intended. read more

Since we started in Mexico, the United Kingdom Pavilion (and Canada Pavilion) were the last two pavilions on our stop and given that I visited Epcot on my last day after a full week of Disney, I was already running on fumes. I know that my review is a lot based on the fact that I just had no energy to properly explore the pavilion and all the great things it has to offer, so please take everything I'm about to say with a grain of salt! The UK Pavilion actually looked really cool and I left it even in my "low power mode" state wanting to explore it more than I had the energy to. It feels very charming and is set up a bit like a countryside cottage sort of style. I believe Alice in Wonderland was here for meet and greets, which was cute, and there were cute looking shops that I would've loved to peek into if I had more energy. Next time, I'm starting on this side of the loop so I can explore this pavilion with a ton more energy!!! read more

The popular attraction is the Yorkshire County Fish Shop which serves fish and chips. The United Kingdom pavilion is one of the countries featured in EPCOT's World showcase. Home of both the Rose and Crown restaurant and pub along with the Yorkshire fish shoppe, you can get a pretty descent meal here. The United Kingdom was decked out for the EPCOT flower and garden festival with English tea gardens, a Shakespeare garden and some Winnie the Pooh and Peter Pan topiaries. A couple of the shops are closed and the merchandise has shifted to other shops. Here you can find both British and Irish themed merchandise along with a touch of British Disney and Twinings teas. There are no ride attractions in the United Kingdom. In the back is a large sitting area with a gazebo. The gazebo is used for various concerts held throughout the day. Although I did not see a concert this particular visit I had sat there on previous visits where I had seen Beatles tribute bands perform. It's a great way to relax on the benches and watch a show. It should be noted that Disney is limiting your purchases to two of the same item. There are signs throughout all Walt Disney world stating this. Package delivery service is not available but they will gladly ship your purchases via UPS for a fee. I bought I lovely British themed Winnie the Pooh and friends throw pillow here for my girlfriend. I had it shipped and got it at my house in less than a week! The United Kingdom pavilion sits next to Canada on one side and the International Gateway on the other. It's a great place to watch Harmonious at night and if you can snag a seat for that show at the Rose and Crown you can dine and drink while you enjoy it. read more

Best place to hang out is at Rose & Crown Pub with live music and cold beer. They had signs telling you the times for each character meet and greet but the only one I saw was Mary Poppins, very cute with a long line. The United Kingdom Pavilion in Epcot may not have rides or big attractions or even a film, but it's full of tasty eats, fun shopping, a great band and most importantly for a gal like myself - beer! :) The United Kingdom Pavilion has some of the best fish and chips at their quick service Yorkshire Fish Shop! And then there is a full service restaurant in Rose & Crown which has some indoor and outdoor seating. If you're just feeling like a drink, you can pop right in for just that! A bunch of beer in the standing room pub to be had, plus you can grab a flight of beers. Shopping is top notch in the UK Pavilion! One shop is full of Twinings tea and some touristy items, one is full of sporting goods, there's a whole section dedicated to Winnie the Pooh and friends, one shop has British Pop Music and culture items which I lovingly call The Beatles shop (there is really much more than just the Fab 4 though!), and one if full of crests, crowns and genealogy related items. Awesome character Meet & Greets - Mary Poppins, Winnie the Pooh and Alice in Wonderland! What I Miss Most: The British Invasion! They were a Beatles cover band that walked, talked and looked like my favorite group of all time. They now have a band called British Revolution which plays a variety of 60s music. The United Kingdom is yet another solid pavilion around the world showcase. All the pavilions as a whole are a strong showing, but some do a better job than others. Here in the UK, I feel they really do a good job showing off both the culture as well as the architecture and food. The pavilion is quite large and runs deep - there are number of shops as well as an outdoor courtyard where musical numbers are usually played. The shops have a variety of merch paying homage to both UK culture as well as Disney. When I took a behind the scenes tour of World Showcase I learned that going from left to right, the buildings and architecture represent different styles through time, going from the past to present day. Rose & Crown is a solid dining option - I've always had a good meal here. Plus, if you time it correctly you'll have amazing views of the nightly fireworks. There's also a shop devoted to Tetley Tea and a popular counter service spot serving up fish and chips. Don't just pass through - take the time to explore all the nooks that the UK has to offer. There are no dedicated attractions or even a film, but the pavilion holds its own. read more

We enjoyed checking out this Pavillion. Tried the fish n chips. I was a little disappointed in my fish as there was a lot more batter than fish and it was on the crisper/crunchier side. My wife and I love a lot of things about the United Kingdom: its television program quality, the lush green countryside with heather and rapeseed fields mixed in, the villages that are older than anything you find here at home, and Eccles Cakes! We went there once several years ago and enjoyed every minute, well, almost. We own a Mini Cooper with the Union Jack flag on the roof and our front license plate. I can't say that visiting the UK pavilion comes close to the experience of being there, but it helps stave off the craving to go again, since we can't afford another trip! The thatched roof is very reminiscent of Anne Hathaway's cottage (Shakespeare's wife) and the other buildings depict different periods of architecture. If you can catch the entertainment there such as the British Beat music, do so. And have some fish and chips with a Guinness at the Rose and Crown. There are a lot of details to take in: the miniature garden hedge maze and the phone boxes (they haven't gotten rid of theirs), and more. I can't say the shopping choices are very inspired; it seems like you can get a lot of that stuff elsewhere. Now if they started stocking Eccles Cakes... But it is worth a visit, and be sure to look up and wave to Peter Pan! read more

There's some cute little stores to shop in and behind them there's a really nice garden here where a live rock band plays. I saw a couple of character actors people could meet such as Alice, Winnie the Pooh, and Mary Poppins. There's also more characters decorating the walls near the same garden. Honestly this place had the most nod toward characters than any other pavillion. Apparently Disney has a lot of characters from the UK. Though to be honest, I'm not a huge fan of any of the characters there... It's still a cute pavillion and a good stop for people who love these characters. Apparently there's also Monty Python and Dr. Who stuff in the shops so I'll have to check that out next time. read more

Such a cute pavilion, even if the hedge labyrinth was a bit underwhelming. Plus it's home to the Rose & Crown Pub, which is probably one of the better values in Epcot if you like beer or fish and chips, or even just chips. You also have a chance to meet several characters, including Alice, Mary Poppins and Winnie the Poo. Sadly, the queue is in the sun. The line for Alice wasn't terribly long when we saw her, but waiting in the sun was a deal breaker. One or two of the shops have lots of great shirts for fans of British bands like Queen, the Beatles, and the Rolling Stones, as well as shows and movies like Doctor Who and anything Monty Python. Sadly, the pianist was not in the pub when we visited. read more

A wonderful place to visit while at EPCOT. This is a wonderful place to visit to give you a feel for the United Kingdom. It is located between the Canada pavilion and the French Pavilion. Looking at an overhead image it is at about the 10 o'clock position around the lake that the World Showcase surrounds. There are several shops and restaurants in this area. The restaurant, fast food window, and the food kiosks are located on the "lakeside" of the walkway whereas the shops and gardens are located "inland." There are several architectural details that the Imagineers built into this area. The Disney app has the details that describe these features like the different roof types representing methods and eras of construction in the country. The cobblestone street leads off the walkway into a side street around a small maze of hedges that are fun to go through with the kids. Often, during the flower and garden or the food and wine shows they put displays in the back area. The Christmas corner is often put in this area and the maze surrounds a small stage where they have had performers several times before. There is a Tea Shop right along the main walkway that has a garden behind it. The shop and the garden are worth a visit as the teas are very good and the garden has some explanation of the teas. The staff was very pleasant and the area was kept clean even though it was pretty crowded. Overall, this is an excellent area to visit, buy some tea or just walk around to get a feel for the UK. I feel like we sped through this pavilion but the short time we spent here it was pretty awesome. Let's start with Mary Poppins. I have NEVER seen the movie, but the character here was a DOLL. She was so darn sweet with the kids - had her accent - and was just all around pleasant with everyone that was lined up to snap photos. You can also meet Winnie The Pooh and characters from Alice In Wonderland - but we missed them. The decor/design is pretty awesome. They have building designs from different centuries. Traditional street lamps and even some phone booths to take photos! I just wish I'd stopped in for some fish and chips! read more

A variety of beers and ales are offered in this charming little pub with the wooden flooring and pressed tin ceiling. It feels like classic London style (well a bit more crowded) and it's one of the only places where I can order black currant to go in my cider!!! 2- Food. Both the dine in restaurant and the quick service restaurant have great food. Fish and Chips is delicious and affordable for what you get. Mushy peas are so yummy and Scotch egg is great! 3- Characters. They have a wide variety of photo opportunities with characters which include Alice, Winnie the Pooh and Mary Poppins. 4- Shops. They sell everything from teas to soccer jerseys to Dr. Who fandom stuff. They have quite a number of Beatles things as well available. 5- BAND!- They recently updated their band from a Beatles cover band to a BRITISH ROCK BAND cover band. They are AMAZING and if you go to the last show of the night after you have had some drinks I guarantee you have a good time.... just don't get lost in the mazes :) read more

I have the tendency of making the United Kingdom my last stop whenever I visit Epcot. Next time, I'm going to make it my first pit stop and heres why. If you go there last, by the time you make it to the UK at the end of your day, Rose & Crown pub is usually jammed pack. The oil to the fish and chips deep fryer probably hasn't been changed all day and it's just way too crowded. If you go earlier and make it your first destination in the World's Showcase, it's nice and quiet, calm, and relaxing. You can easily get a seat without a reservation at Rose & Crown pub, the golden deep fried color of the fish and chips look more appealing to eat. Rose & Crown serves up a variety of beers and cocktails. Trust me, you'd rather come here earlier in the day than at night when every parent stroll into the joint with their crying and screaming children. Verdict - The UK pavilion is rather small. It's a nice place for photo ops. There are a few gift shops, a tea store, the pub, fish and chips stall, and some red phone booths. It's your stereotypical outlook on the English. If you're lucky, you may find Mary Poppins or Alice from Alice in Wonderland. read more

Another favorite spot on our drinking around the world adventure. Stop here to use the bathrooms, then grab a pint in either Rose and Crown or at the cart outside. Rose and Crown always seems to be super busy though. After you've grabbed your pint, escape the heat and walk through the shops. If you start in the small tea shop, you can pretty much work your way around them all at once only having to go outside for a bit. Great place to pick up teas and chocolates that you cant often find in the US, like some great Cadbury chocolates. The other shop has fun stuff like Beatles stuff and athletic team gear. usually the bands that play are in the back of the pavilion where the gazebo is. You can often find Alice or Mary Poppins here during the day for pictures. The red English phone booths that are outside of the bathrooms apparently work, and you can get the numbers for the phones. So you can have a child step inside and call them if you want. Pretty cool spot to take a picture too. read more

I know, it's touristy Epcot. However, should you find yourself here, I believe you will be pleasantly surprised. Starting from the right side of the park: Around the World - Pit Stop 2, The UK (Don't trust the Canadians at Pit Stop 1) After visiting the pretentious D-Bags that work in Canada you find yourself in the UK. Skip the Rose & Crown Pub for a meal. You're going to drop a pretty penny on a meal there, thus taking money out of your alcohol budget. Just around the corner is the Yorkshire County Fish Shop. The Fish & Chips are around $8.00 and they have beer for sale, as well. Yes, it is a smaller portion than what you get inside, but you don't want all that much coming back up when you hit the Sake in Japan. It's good going down and positively divine coming back up. When it comes to food, less is more in the long run. Now, you're going to want to get a second beer...DO NOT! Two leads to three and then by the time you get to Mexico you're calling for immigration while wearing a Goofy hat you just had to have before you went to Norway. The only issue with the the UK Pavilion is that it's stuck between Canada and France. Keep your head down and do not make direct eye contact until you make it to Morocco. After all, you don't need to be nice or make eye contact with someone pouring you a beer that has a healthy internal disdain for you. read more
