This was a very disappointing experience. Unfortunately, this place became my UPS access point. I called twice and left messages with my name, phone number, and email that were never returned. I just went in person, and Ely was neither helpful nor knowledgeable. I was very bothered how disrespectful she was to my mother. She was dismissive of my questions, and when they got harder, she just called for the next customer. I don't seem to be the first person writing about how they are dismissive when something goes wrong. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. Too frustrating. The wanted $4.00 to drop off 3 pre-paid UPS parcels. Bah... The UPS store on Robertson just north of Pico will take them for free and give one a receipt. Don't know if this is UPS policy or their policy - but either way - for 99% of mailing I will stick with the USPS. read more

Med was helpful and friendly, and my truck rental went smoothly. Only drawback is that I was not allowed to leave my car in their lot (with what appeared to be plenty of spaces) but otherwise, a great experience and I would recommend them to anyone. read more

These guys are seriously problematic. I rented a Uhaul truck and they charged me 110 dollars which was twice of what it was supposed to be. I rented the truck at 1/4 gas for couple of hours and returned it with gas refilled to 1/4, but it turned out that they lied about the gas and claimed that I returned it empty. They charged 15$ more for the gas, and 30$ for the recharge fee which is totally ridiculous. The manager Ned Gregory was very rudely trying to put the blame on me and I am sending them the receipt of the gas charge with a huge claim to Uhaul. This seems to be a purposeful rip off, the empty tank part is just non sense. Whoever checked the car seriously lied. read more

I go to this place for their Western Union services. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Even better is that they have parking on the side of the building for customers. If you need a mailbox, I would recommend this location. read more

Have happily utilized this firm for their private mailbox service for over 7 years. Never had a problem with things like lost or misplaced letters/parcels as is common at a typical USPS facility(why would you use that anyway - it's a ding on your credit report!). Occasionally call to find out what is waiting for me, and the staff is always courteous in telling me what awaits. It saves me much angst. Plus it's in Beverly Hills, so your privacy is respected, and if you don't believe, save a few shekels and see what happens to your L.A. bound mail with respect to your alleged eBay/Amazon/Etsy endeavor(Trust me- been there, done that - why do so many physicians have their offices in Beverly Hills or Santa Monica. THINK!!). 24 hour access and parking is a cinch on the street or with BHUMB's own onsite free parking. The only problem is that large parcels have to be retrieved when they're open. The few extra dollars(from zero to $5 tops!) you pay for BHUMB's monthly service is well worth it compared to other area private mail concerns. Utility payment, Western Union, Photocopying, Notary, and Office/Meeting Space available too. Graduated discounts for box rentals.(1,3, 6 , and 12 month plans offered). I just can't say enough about the wonderful service these friendly, honorable folks have provided me. read more

I love Bhumb, it's very convenient with friendly staff. To date I'm always greeted usually by Med the owner, when I walk in the door! I receive tons of packages and it's helpful to be able to confirm with a live body that it has arrived before I drive over. It's bright, clean and offers printing services as well. I give these guys AAA for effort and great customer service. This place is almost pack everyday and every time I come in for my mail. So many things happen all at once - Uhaul service, Western Union service, shipping, mail drop, even getting calls from mailbox clients wanting to know if mail came for them or having mail forwarded. These guys don't crack under pressure, except one time when a new trainee on his 3rd day was trying his best to still keep a pleasant face against an impatient customer. The owner-manager's attitude is beyond pleasantness and experience. And the girl is the sweetest I have ever seen. Always a smile on her even in front of a line of clients. Great service. read more

I have been using Beverly HIlls Mailbox for a couple of years and when I no longer needed a mailbox, I called in to cancel. I was informed I needed to speak to the manager, which I did. Then I went in to return my keys and pick up the last of my mail. I was told I needed to speak to a manager (again) which I did. He asked if there was any way he could convince me to stay and I politely declined. This is when he decided to be a jerk. I asked if I could get the last of my mail and he said that he would not be able to do that because "he would have to go through all the bins and that all my mail will be returned to sender." This was a lie. Of course he could go grab my mail for me. They have done it for me me numerous times. When your rent is due they put a slip in your mailbox and when you go to the desk to pay it, they readily hand you your mail. If I would have renewed my mailbox, they would have given me my mail. Yet, since I decided to cancel, he was upset and withheld my mail. This was extremely unprofessional and I was quite shocked by his behavior as he was previously always pleasant. I guess that's as long as you are giving him business. read more
