They sent me on this wild goose chase telling me my package was seized for "random sampling" by the postal inspector and when I was able to speak to someone at the postal inspectors office (which took a full day and was only successful because somehow I lucked out and spoke to a man at the county building who was friends with someone at the inspectors office) they told me that not only do they not have the package but that is simply not something they do. The action code on the print out is not a code used by usps. Basically they straight up lied and made this whole absurd story up and nobody seems to give a shit. Just do yourselves a favor and use fedex.

When I arrived at the post office there was only one person in line in front of me but she had many tasks to do. Sondra was very patient and a clear communicator with the customer. Although I was the person waiting, I even felt taken care of. When the woman in front of me ordered stamps, Sondra took out multiple pages of stamps to show the woman to select an image. Nothing was rushed, but everything felt calm and as though she was aware of the fact that they were now multiple people waiting in line. Everything was smooth and efficient! Once it was my turn, again, transactions were quick and I felt taken care of. Giant kudos to this location, I'll definitely be coming here again whenever I need to shop packages!

Avoid this location. Lazy scanning cost me $100 (and management doesn't care)…read more I will never use this Lakewood location again. I went in to ship multiple packages of T-shirts to my students. The employee at the counter accidentally scanned the exact same package twice. Because of this careless mistake, one of my actual packages went onto a truck without ever being properly input into the system. When you're shipping multiple things, you trust the employees to do their jobs right--you don't sit there and audit every digit of a 18-character tracking number on the spot. Because of their error, the package was never delivered, and because there was no digital record of its true tracking number, it was impossible to track down. The worst part was the management's response. I brought the receipt back to the store and showed the owner the undeniable proof: **two identical tracking numbers printed right there on the receipt.** It was a clear, unarguable mistake on their end. Instead of taking responsibility or trying to make it right, the owner flatly refused to help. I am out $100 worth of merchandise because they wouldn't own up to a scanning error. I now actively avoid this store and make a special drive out to the Rocky River location whenever I need to use UPS. Save yourself the headache and the lost money--go somewhere else.
