You will be seen in order based on why you're there, not, who got there first. The lobby ( holding area ) is clean and organized. Parking is adequate. The people there are helpful and knowledgeable. ( yes, I know you want to talk on your phone or play loud games. Or talk loud, but it echoes in there - be respectful). All in all, it was a dull life sucking experience, but that was to be expected. Better than going to downtown Houston for sure. Find a new friend and chat to pass the time. Or, brush up on your Spanish.

When you call either post office, you either get a message that hold time is sober 1 hr to speak to a postal representative or a busy signal & disconnected. Also, it has been over a week since anyone here in Montgomery has received their mail after a Tropical Storm 2 weeks ago. We have heard that everywhere else is back up and running since last Saturday (3 days ago). This is deplorable service!!!!!!

No site inspection was performed as they never entered even after being offered. They just stood at the door and yelled. Unfortunately it's Dayton so this is just the standard of behavior. I was in and out within minutes getting my disabled veteran plates, and the process couldn't have been easier. They told me ahead of time exactly what paperwork I needed, so I walked in fully prepared and walked out quickly and stress-free. The cost was incredibly low--almost free--and there are even registration kickbacks available. The lady who helped me was fantastic--so friendly, fun, and on top of everything. The whole environment felt safe, efficient, and genuinely uplifting. Everyone there seemed to enjoy their work, and it showed in how they treated folks.
