Service is horrible, our mails got lost twice this month. Customer service is not helpful at all. They pass you along to other people and is rude. I don't even want to give them a star they don't deserve any. read more

I am very upset there is a girl working as a mailman who has no high school diploma... her name is Tammy Moyles, but she goes by the name Tammy Borgesi, as an employee with the post office. She has no HighSchool Diploma, How did she get hired without one??? there are billion's of people who cannot get a job there that have a Diploma. If she showed one, it's a (fraud) because she Doesn't have one !!!!!!! she used the last name as Borgesi to pretend that they are her family, so she could get PULL to be hired.], when in fact they are NOT her family!!! I think they should look into this situation because it is the law to be-able to be imployed by them. She was tranferred to the NJ post office. She should be FIRED !!! it's against the law to work there without one. does anyone know how to report her, I would like this to be reported as soon as possible. read more

First off we are getting our mail after SEVEN PM! That is a completely unacceptable time. In the same neighborhood (literally still the streams of Plainfield) their carrier comes at 1. Second I went to go and pick up my held mail. The rude man asked me why I was holding my mail....well @sshat its my god d@mn mail and I can hold it for whatever reason I want to. And lastly it would be nice to actually get MY mail and not the neighbors (not even close neighbors sometimes). I have spoken to a USPS worker and he informed me there have been A LOT of complaints about this place now. Wish I could find a better carrier. read more

Worst post office! I receive other people's mail so I'm pretty sure other people receive my mail. I tracked a package from Amazon that was supposed to be delivered today it said "an attempt was made to deliver your package" there was no note on my door or in my mailbox. I called Amazon, they called the post office who just said they didn't know why it wasn't delivered! A few weeks ago I paid to send something priority mail, my receipt showed it would be delivered in 2 days and it didn't get there for 7! Pitiful excuse for a business. read more

This is the WORST service any business has even given me and it is a constant ordeal. Everytime I order something it says it has been delivered when it hasn't. Sometimes it goes to random houses. And when I call to complain they told me I was wrong and I got the package. Workers are rude and overall horrible. read more

I prefer this facility over the Joliet Post Office. I sure don't mind driving out of my way. I can trust them with all my business. This is a busy location. They typically have two staff members up front. Usually they don't smile and don't seem to enjoy their job. They are also very slow! If you need to pick up a package expect to wait even longer! read more

This post office is the worst! Everytime I go hear it is a 15 minute wait in line. Not to mention that they can't even deliver my mail correctly. First off: I like the ladies at the post office. It's not their fault the USPS has a skeleton staff because they're cheap. I like that this PO has longer hours, which is convenient if you work until 5pm. My problem is with the mail carrier that delivers our mail. He is horrible! He constantly leaves our mailbox open and doesn't even try to close it. I thought perhaps there was a problem with latching it, wrong! He also leaves my neighbors box open. Today with all the rain every bit of my mail was drenched, everything was ruined including a check. With the amount of money this guy makes, he should put a little effort in his job. Not only does he provide lousy service, he gives dirty looks as if I was annoying him whenever I'm either pulling into or out of the driveway when he's delivering the mail, which is a rare occasion. I waited a long time to complain until a postal employee recommended I complain to a supervisor. Today was the last straw with my soaking wet mail. We complained, now let's see if he changes his slack ways or if he decides to retaliate and deliver my mail to someone else. Time will tell. read more

I Have to say that I was not pleased with their service at all. I had been expecting an international letter from my family, but unfortunately they sent it to my old address which we moved out of 3 yrs ago. I go into the post office in hopes of tracking it down with the tracking number. They found out from their computer that the letter was last scanned at their location but the lady could not find it in the back. So she took my information and said she will call when she finds it. 2 days later again I go in there and ask if they found it. They tell me it was sent to forwarding. They assured me it will be on it's way to our new address. 5 days later I go in there again. Now they told me it's in their Palatine office for forwardig. I asked the supervisor now to tell me why it's been forwarding for 5 days now and now it's in Palatine. To end this short I mentioned again that I have lived in my new home for 3 years, that's when she said oh no, than it will go back to the sender. I mentioned that i moved to my new home 3 years ago several times during each visit and I was assured I will get my letter at my new address. She called Palatine and they have already sent the letter back to the original sender. Super upset because it was a very important letter. They couldn't find it from the moment it was scanned at their office. or they were just too lazy to go check their international letters, instead they did as little as possible during each visit to help me locate it. They just kept Assuring me and taking my address each time. It seems to me it's more convenient for the post office to sent it back to the sender instead of actually doing their job. All they did was cause me stress and more money to spend in order to receive this letter. read more

Warning: this post office does not accept credit cards that are not signed! I personally choose not to sign my credit cards - instead I write "see photo ID" on them. The grumpy lady behind the counter would not accept my credit card WITH my valid drivers license. What?!? So therefore I could only mail one of my two packages because I did not have enough cash. By the way, yes, I would have used the self-serve computer, but it was out of order. The fact that the counter workers will not accept unsigned credit cards is stupid, because the self-serve machines that will take them, even stolen cards. Doesn't make sense. It didn't help that the lady behind the counter seemed to be getting off that I was upset about the silly credit card rule. She must have a very unhappy life to be so rude and cold. I would give zero stars if I could. read more

Saturday, arrived to Plainfield Post office to mail three packages. Very long line- and I think right away why they are attending to those with bins of mail in the general line. Should have some other set-up for bulk mail. Anyway, packages were heavy. Line not moving. I return at 3 in afternoon. I have already picked up postage elsewhere and have affixed postage to packages. I was sure that I was close to 17 something but apologized and said- I did not have a chance to check the exact amount on the large set rate boxes and have three 5.75 stamps and 1 regular stamp on each. Can you just calculate and then I may owe you or not. She had me stand to the side, handed me a piece of paper and pen, and told me to add it up myself. Seriously? I ended up owing her 30 cents per package. She had the audacity to ask if I had a good experience today. I said - no. Did I want to speak to her supervisor? I said- will it change anything. She said- no. This is the kind of service that taxpayers should get from postal service employees. We set these people up for life by paying their insurance plans in full and, in turn, we get nothing but self service and their guff. read more

WORST POSTAL SYSTEM EVER; Wasting taxpayer money DAILY and drowning in debt. The USPS is hemorrhaging money and the majority of their employees could care less. We have recently gotten a new mail carrier who CONSISTENTLY delivers our neighbors mail to us, and this past week couldn't figure out how to deliver two small lamps to my house, brought them back to the Post Office, and the Supervisor that I spoke with said that she told him it was a "wrong number". Strange that it was correct on ALL of the tracking info! He put it into returns anyway and said "it wasn't her fault, the sender will just have to re-deliver it". The entire time I tried to talk to this man he interrupted and talked over me, he very patronizingly pretended to placate me with the tired old "I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you" while he literally sounded like he was on the verge of laughing. I am not alone in this. There are over 91 complaints from my section of the subdivision ALONE on the Facebook page for the Wesmere,Subdivision in Plainfield IL. My neighbors have found their mail out on their lawns, they've had the mail carrier swear at them, and one day my son came in the house after going to get the mail, and said "The mail carrier just got totally smart-mouthed at me complaining that I parked too close to the mailbox"! We've lived here for fifteen years and never had a similar complaint from a mail carrier. It's been reported that she has some sort of physical impairment that may prevent her from being as agile as she may otherwise be, and while I sympathize, I strongly believe that she should reconsider her job choice.
